I don't often write one-star reviews. I also don't often write them after only one visit. But this I feel is justified. I went through the drive-thru, ordered one softshell beef taco, with no cheese or sour cream. The person taking my order confirmed with me that all I wanted on this taco was "beef" (yes, I know - we can have THAT discussion later) and lettuce. Two ingredients. Paid, received my bag with my napkins, and one solid, tightly wrapped taco and went on my merry way to return to this socially distant coronavirus struggle we're currently in. I mention this to provide you the context that it could NOT have been busy inside because NO ONE is allowed to even eat inside, or order inside - the drive-thru was the only spot. Governor's orders. Anyway. I came home, settled into my sweatpants, loosened the drawstrings to make room for this lettuce and "beef" on a tortilla. To my horror, upon opening my taco, I did not find lettuce and "beef" as I had clearly ordered and confirmed, I found... "BEEF" AND MELTED SHREDDED CHEESE. The end. I gave this Taco Bell location a good review in the past. It's not getting one this time! I usually like the crunchy tacos. Today I had to take them back because they were rancid. The hard shell smelled and tasted like old grease. When the second order was also rancid, I called the Taco Bell and told them that they need to do something about the rencid taco shells. The manager tells me that they (employees) eat them all the time, and they're fine. She was willing to give me a credit or fix the order... I explained that she can't fix the order, if she doesn't agree that something might be wrong with the taco shells. BTW These shells are not just rancid, they are crumbling from age. Disgusting. If they just got these in from their main corporate food distributor, then TB Quality Control is bad. Equally as important, they need a manager who is pro-customer, without: "it taste fine to me". And "Nobody else has complained". I won't be complaining in the future because I'm not going back. This is the absolute worst Taco Bell. I love Taco Bell, but I straight up refuse to go to this location ever again. I've been to this location 6 or 7 times (solely because it is around the corner from my house), and they have only gotten my order correct once. Even if you get the right food it is so disgusting that you'll just want to throw it away anyways. The food is always cold and soggy as if it has been sitting on a shelf the entire day. You might be thinking it can't get any worse. You couldn't be more wrong... You have to wait a minimum of 15 minutes to get your food at any time of the day. I went through the empty drive through at 10 pm and still waited 15 minutes to get my order. I could have parked, walked into the store, fired up the grill, made my entire order myself, and taken a smoke break in the time it takes to get my food. Don't even think about this place if there are two cars in the drive through. I got stuck in the drive through for 25 minutes around dinner time. The entire staff needs to be fired. Anyone that is somewhat responsible for this store needs to be fired. They might as well tear down the whole restaurant and put another starbucks in even though there's one literally across the street. At least I wouldn't get teased by the thought of cheap, quick, and warm tacos as I drive by on my way home. Please Taco Bell corporate. Please help us.
