Small restaurant with great food and fantastic flavors…read more We were traveling and decided that we needed to stop for dinner, so we saw the great reviews for lost buenos and we gave you a try. Only about eight tables inside and they also have grocery items, including fruit and vegetables, candies, and baked goods. At first, we were gonna get get our items to go, but when we realized it would probably be hard to eat in the car so we stayed and had a wonderful meal. Did you really want to hear about the food: Salsa - fresh, mild kick, I would consider it more on that chunky side than the smooth side. Salsa - very thin, some more on the smooth side, but very tasty. Cucumber Pinapple Drink - refreshing, with a hint of the pineapple sweetness. Really delicious, and served in a small picture which threw me at first, but then I realized everybody else had them, and they were drinking through a straw. Problem solved. Tamarind Drink - not quite as refreshing as the cucumber, but the drink was good with that hint of tamarin flavor.. Burritto - serve with your choice of meat, it was enough to feed two people, two very large people. It also comes with fresh, cucumber and radishes, which was a really nice touch. We got ours with chicken and peach with our choice.. We decided to get a couple of the baked goods to go, so maybe I'll update my review after we give those a try in the morning. Great little fine. I think you'll enjoy it.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food bursting with flavor and fresh ingredients, I highly…read morerecommend you skip this place entirely. My recent visit was hands down the most disappointing dining experience I've ever endured. From the food to the service, everything was a lesson in how not to run a restaurant. The Food: A Bland Nightmare Mexican cuisine is celebrated for its bold spices, fresh herbs, and vibrant flavors, but this place somehow managed to suck the life out of every single dish. The guacamole tasted like it came straight out of a can, with a texture more akin to baby food and a complete absence of seasoning. The enchiladas were soggy and drowning in a sauce that resembled watered-down tomato soup, devoid of any spice or tang. Even the chips and salsa, the most basic staples of any Mexican restaurant, were a failure. The chips were stale, and the salsa was overly acidic and watery, with no hint of the robust flavors you'd expect from roasted tomatoes or chili. The crowning disappointment was the burrito. It was a sad, lukewarm lump stuffed with unseasoned rice, overcooked chicken, and a suspiciously slimy cheese sauce. Each bite was as unpleasant as the last, and I couldn't finish it--something I've never done at a Mexican restaurant before. The Service: Nonexistent The staff seemed entirely uninterested in their jobs or the diners. It took ages for someone to acknowledge our presence and seat us, despite the restaurant being almost empty (which should have been my first warning sign). Once seated, our server was inattentive and borderline rude, acting as though our requests for basics like water and napkins were unreasonable demands. Refills on drinks? Forget about it. The cherry on top was the long wait for our food, which, given the poor quality, clearly wasn't worth the time. The Ambience: A Fitting Match to the Food The decor was a mismatched mix of faded sombreros and tacky dollar-store decorations, and the music was either non-existent or blaring at an uncomfortable volume. The whole place felt neglected and unclean, which didn't inspire confidence in the kitchen. Overall Experience: Never Again I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was so bad it feels like a public service to warn others. If you enjoy flavorless, poorly-prepared food served by a disinterested staff in an uninspiring environment, then this is the place for you. For everyone else, save your money and your taste buds--go anywhere else. Even a frozen microwave burrito from the grocery store would be a better option.
