Food was good but again I ordered Chili Relleno and didn't get it. The waitress told me this is chili Relleno and if I want the full poblano I need to order that. Dog friendly- although one of the waiter seems to be talking about the dogs in Spanish. Our waiter was nice though. Ambiance inside very dark but terrace is ok but face to the parking . You can see everyone getting in and out. Food is ok. Not great taste for the steak that I took. They charged extra $2.07 for sour cream. 2 days ago New HORRIBLE! I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone! I went for the first time and upon entrance I was not greeted although there were 4 people standing up front, and even after speaking. The biggest issue came when my 17 year old cousin did not like her food (birria tacos). She ate two bites from 1 of her 3 tacos and ate nothing else. After letting the server know that she didn't like it and I wanted it to be taken off since she really didn't eat it she told me I had to speak with the manager about the issue and how another table ordered it and liked it and attempted to take the plate off the table. Once the manager came out he didn't want to speak to me, the adult, he began grilling the 17 year old. After explaining that she did not like the food because it didn't really have a taste he told her that he tasted it and he liked it (as if tastebuds are not subject) and that next time she is going to have to pay regardless of if she liked it or not. Very unprofessional. After the bill was brought out and the tacos were taken off but there was 18% gratuity added to the bill. There was only 3 individuals. When I went to pay I asked if gratuity is added to every check I was told "I'm not sure, you have to ask the manager". My experience was terrible and I will not be returning to this establishment. We were passing through and decided to grab a quick lunch in Waterboro, SC. We totally lucked out; I had the best bowl of chicken soup I've ever eaten. The portion was enough for 2 people and it was filled with veggies, big chunks of chicken, firm avocado slices and rice. Wonderful place. read more

Passing trough on our way home and got takeout from this "Mexican restaurant ". Not sure how they get away with calling the food we had Mexican because it resembles nothing like real Mexican food and I've had good Mexican food. The food is barely edible and I'm mean barely. We threw most of it out. Stale flour tortillas buried in cheese does not make a quesadilla. I could go on and on, but really don't waste your hard earned money at this place. Buy a frozen burrito at any grocery store and it will be better. read more

Review update. Heath department inspected on 31 Oct 2022 and emailed that they found violations directly related to my complaint of the roach in my rice. Maybe the place will get their act together. We won't visit again though. read more

Worst service I have received!! Like one of the worst ever in my life! I ordered a guava mojito & they made something else that wasn't that. So I asked for a different drink. The waiter said he had to get the manager. The manager was more than rude & had an attitude with me. He stood there and held the drink & I told him it was not right & it was just sour & I wanted something different. He told me I wouldn't like anything else they make either because everything they have is sour. So we decided we couldn't trust them with our food after this attitude we told him to cancel our order. Our friends in Walterboro were excited on recent visit to have us try their New Mexican restaurant in town. However, it was mediocre at best. 3 of us had chicken fajitas- so dry there was no juice. I'm very sad about the two stars I gave this review. We use to love this place. However I ordered the Texas dip with the shrimp on the side because I do not eat shrimp. It was not on the side however it was Chopped up in there so I couldn't even pick it out. To top it off it is lacking in the chicken and steak. The cheese is pure water and for nine bucks there is nothing in this pan. This is a picture before I tried to dig the shrimp out. The soup is okay. All the veggies in it are barely cooked. I usually just come here for their queso and drinks. I've tried a few different dishes and their chicken and steak are both hit or miss. Sometimes good, sometimes chewy and rubbery. Service can feel rushed every now and then. If you order the nachos they pile on the onions, tomatoes, and peppers with only a handful of chips, so I'm usually digging into the basket of chips to finish eating all of it. We got stuck in a traffic accident and it derailed our lunch plans while heading to FL. We stopped at a different restaurant at first but they had an event. We ended up here and they didn't disappoint. The food was excellent. I have the fajita taco salad my husband had the Pollo con piña with added chorizo. Good was really good. I had the fried beef and chicken chimichangas. My 7 year old daughter doesn't like meat nut really liked the chicken chimichanga. We ate our food so fast that I didn't get to take any pictures. The restaurant had so much space and lots of seating in different wings. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. And plus there are a couple women who hang out at the bar or at a table just outside the door who cuss worse than a drunken sailor, so I would not recommend taking kids here ( especially if those women are there) I assume they work there because they are always there when I have been there. This used to be a regular dinner option for me and my family, however, lately I'd rather go elsewhere. I think they are relying on the fact that they are practically the only Mexican restaurant in town for business. Over the past few years the food and service has been on a downward decline. The atmosphere is similar of many other Mexican restaurants I've been in, i.e. Mexico wall murals, vibrant color choices, and Mexican music. The dining area is clean (the bathroom could use a little more attention though). The wait staff seems to hang out around the bar and it sometimes takes a while to see them. One our last visit I ordered a combination plate (burrito, beans, rice) everything had the same flavor. Pretty bland and to top it off the chips were stale. Not the great seasons and flavors I'm looking for in Mexican food (and they once had). read more

I'm very understanding that there are worker shortages right now but we dined at like 3:00 and there were literally only people at tel other tables. It's not like it was rush hour.
