Had to stop by for a quick takeout. Very nice and clean. Just a very hot day 99 degrees! I ordered 6 tacos on the mobile machine there. Was pretty easy ordering on kiosks. I didn't know Taco Bell even had kiosks. I was just worried small town might be slow service. There were just two people in front of me and they got their orders shortly when I arrive. Rest of restaurant was pretty empty. I waited for a few moments and then they called my name. Wow that was fast! Restaurant was not crowded. But I am impress of speedy service. So I went to my hotel and ate it and it was prepared well without tomatoes like the old days. Very calm restaurant with one cashier. Definitely must better service and execution from my last Taco Bell visit in San Francisco which is why I give this Taco Bell a rating of five. Each Taco Bell franchise is different. Stopped for breakfast on our way to Beaverton and opted for drive through. Tried the Grande Toasted Breakfast Burrito with sausage and a hash brown. The breakfast burrito was not so grande, in fact it was about the size of the burrito you get at McDonalds. The toasting of the burrito just makes it dry. Asked if I wanted to include a drink and I told them I had water, they attempted to add it to my bill at 2.49 for a cup and I said I had water so please take that off my bill. Prices at Grants Pass were higher than the prices shown on Taco Bell's website. Perhaps because there is no tax. I gave Taco Bell a try for Breakfast and was not impressed. These lazy (P.O.S) employees make you order on the kiosk even if they are standing at the counter behind the register. Food was disappointing. This is about the Taco Bell on Terry Lane. They are chronically understaffed. This problem began when wages went up. Now the person working drive thru has to cover the counter in the lobby too. Sadly, there is someone out there who requested no tomatoes on their Taco Supreme #1 combo and got them anyway...because I got someone's "no tomatoes" order (and I love tomatoes!). They asked if I wanted sauce & I said yes & what kind...but no sauce in the bag . I know they are looking for workers (posted on the big reader board as well as the sticker holding my bag closed) and it's probably a lot of newbies working - they were very nice, polite, smiling - but I think the shift managers may want to work on quality control for getting the orders right. Or letting the customer know they are out of a specific item that should be in their order normally (like tomatoes, maybe?). The 3 stars is for the food itself & how nice they were. By a horrible fluke we came to this Taco Bell during the 15 minute period when they were *OUT* of nacho cheese. The staff are consistently friendly, personable and most of the time accurate when it comes to taking your order. Every time ive been to this taco bell their service is shit! I mean that to the fullest extent. The first occasion the guy taking our order in the drive through was..obviously hard of hearing when we repetitively told him we'd need a fee minutes, i shit you not the guy asked if we were ready yet more than 5 times before a minutes was up. We got to the window and got half of our order! Good thing we were already going to eat in the parking lot. Anyway we go in and show them our order and the stupid lady at the front tries to make us pay for the food they missed in the bag. Hah that wasnt happening, and its not like the order was big it was 4 items they missed half of them, after telling the lady finally is like " well the guy is new, so take it easy" yeah well this guy fucked up a lot of order as 3 more seperate people have walked to have orders corrected. Second time we've been to this location its been awhile give them another shot. Simple order two triple layer nachos off the dollar menu and some beefy five layers. Now we were low on money so decided to pay with change, total comes out to 6.58 and we have exactly 7.00 so we sit at the window speed count again to make sure its right. And we hand her the change. She yells "ohh myy god!" And reluctantly takes the change now its all dimes really so is counting that hard? There are legitimately no cars behind us. She takes her sweet dick time taking orders and then counts our change and then comes to give us our food. We. Told her when we first handed her the money to keep the change and instead she plops it back out the window. We sit in the parking lot and then watch as their closing shift turns into them taking 10 more cars through their drive through. Piss poor attitudes. First time I've ever given a one star review. I ordered tacos and burritos. Order was filled quickly but the food was very dry and had a burnt taste to it. I have a weak spot for Taco Bell. This isn't my first Taco Bell review, it most likely won't be my last. So why only two stars? Because they f'ed up my order. It's a newer Taco Bell and has a screen that shows you what you ordered to supposedly eliminate any mistakes. Well, I ordered my usual bean burrito, no sauce, no cheese, no onions. We stopped here after getting Gas on our trip to the coast. We really wanted to try the breakfast. I have to say the Crunchwrap was definitely a favorite. Only complaint I have with this Taco Bell is that I had gotten food poisoning one time from the food here. Otherwise, the service has been good and the people working there at drive up seemed to be friendly, and on top of things. I really do not have many complaints on this place.
