Visited the Taco Bell located in grandview off of main st. Supreme taco was missing tomatoes. Not a huge deal except that's literally the only difference between a regular taco and the supreme other than the sour cream. When I visited the establishment the next day (literally) and told them about the mistake they offered me a measly Sorry and when asked if there was something that could be done he/she again hit me with a no I'm sorry. Which is absolutely INSANE! How do you mess up an order and then not offer any way to fix or rectify the issue. A taco? A freeze!? A coupon? Anything to make up for the fact that I paid for a service and didn't receive quality. I wasn't even demanding a refund. Just some kind of rectification for the mistake.. simple. Maybe if All the employees weren't huddled, standing outside smoking then they could pay more attention to the quality of the food coming out the kitchen.. but from what I can tell the standard of this location are low. From hiring to food! Always has been. This was a desperate moment for me so the expectation should have been set and the bar lower than hell. They aren't selling the enchirito anymore, mexi melt, the tacos were very greasy and with cheese. They don't even have Pico de Gallo. I used to love this place when I was a teenager but after living in San Antonio for four years and El Paso for 4.5 years I just can't do the bell anymore. The only thing I can say about this site is the it is completely horrid. The customer service is in the dumps and the meat is watered down if you get lucky enough to get meat on your food. Felt like I was inconveniencing the drive through attendant. It's been a little while since I had been to a Taco Bell so it took me a minute to get reacquainted with the menu. The moment I drove up to menu/order space, the person immediately said "how may I help you". Hadn't even had a chance to look what I would want. I asked for a second; about 30 seconds later I started giving my order and they rudely said hold on. Finally got to start giving my order with attitude from her the whole time. When I got to the window to pay for my order I asked a question about the order she gave more attitude and rolled her eyes. I was just trying to understand why I have been charged an additional $1.50. Seriously $8.13 for 3 tacos and a drink. Total rip off. Hate giving bad reviews but seriously just rubbed me the wrong way the whole time. read more

It's Taco Bell: sometimes the drive-thru line is out of control, sometimes they've been so busy they've run out of napkins, sometimes the teenagers working there are gossiping about crap they shouldn't be, sometimes a jerk has left trash on a table. As a Taco Bell affecionafo, I'm very thankful to live so close to this one. The staff is consistently friendly & efficient. Our order has been wrong once in the 88 million times we've been there. & we order things special every single time!! I'm consistently asked for clarification if something isn't understood & never get attitude if something needs corrected. When the wait is a bit long, someone acknowledges it & thanks me for my patience. I'm regularly referred to as Miss or Ma'am & every staff member has proper manners. The staff suggests things & asks if I'd like to try new sauces or items. Nothing is perfect, but this is a Taco Bell exceeds every expectation. The catalyst for me finally writing a review though was the trans kid in the drive thru tonight. I want to live in a world that your presence in this part of town & in high traffic, public-facing service industry isn't remarkable. But, we don't yet. I don't want to be SO touched by your beautiful nails & meticulous makeup. But, I was. I cannot be more proud & happy that you're here. read more

5/18/2022...The Mexican pizza is back...and now Iwon't be going back! I got home after working a 15 hour shift this lovely Wednesday evening, I've clocked 80+ hours and still 4 days to go until I get a day off. While sitting at my table with my sister and son I saw someone's sc story with the Mexican Pizza!! "OH THAT's RIGHT" I jumped and ran out the door excited to surprise my family. We'd been on the look out for several weeks after hearing rumor of the return. Tiffany Jordan, was what I was told the manager's name is. The crew was pleasant and explained they rolled out officially tomorrow but for today it was app exclusive. I pulled around explaining I didn't want to hold up the line, placed my order and pulled back through. At the window the crew greeted me. My order wasn't showing but they could see it from my app and placed it anyway. 3 pizzas, one with guacamole and a Baja blast. I got home and no guac. I called. "Tiffany" answered. Rudely explained she'd made them and there was guac on it. Well the one marked did not have it. She said she put it under the shell- looking and not seeing it I asked where under, maybe she placed it on the bottom? Nope. I was looking through the second one thinking maybe perhaps the wrong box. While explaining this she yelled at me exclaiming it was. I grabbed all three and headed back up there. Once at the window I was yelled at "give me your food" she refused to give me her name. I had all three pizzas laid out and planned to take a pic more than half of each of the top shells pulled back- no sign of guac on any. She took the first and the second and when showing the Third one another associate saw that in one small place on the second one, there was a small gallop of guac. AH IT WAS THERE. kinda. This is by far the best Taco Bell I have ever been to. Seriously, go during lunch time (I never have time to go at night but I'm sure service was great then too). The staff is so attentive and just flat out friendly and you never get that in grand view at fast food restaurants. Okay, so obviously Taco Bell isn't fine dining, but this place was just awful. They usually get my order wrong and I usually end up throwing away most of the food because of how badly it's prepared. My last burrito was mostly just sour cream. I tried one of their Fritos burritos and they for some reason thought it was necessary to add extra salt, which of course made it just disgusting. I would give this location of taco bell a negative report of like -7 stars. So they close at 2:305am, & I went at 1:45am. When I went on with my order, they start to tell me that they don't have enough meat for my tacos. So I change my order to only bean & rice burritos, & someone else comes on the speaker & VERY RUDELY says, we dont have enough beans, rice, meat or ANYTHING to make anymore than 2 tacos. This was on Friday night/ actually THURSDAY morning between 1:50am and 2:05am. So my question is, so if taco bell doesn't CLOSE until 2:30. Then how long do you let our food sit and wait since your to lazy to cook it when it's ordered? And why are you out of meat, beans, AND rice, all the main items to make a taco? Got off work at 10 & had to finish an essay that was due by midnight. Out of sheer desperation, I stopped and purchased an "iced coffee" from the Grandview Taco Bell. I can only liken the flavor to squeezing the leftover water out of week-old coffee grounds I fished out of a trash can at a truck stop gas station/diner.
