For a long time this Taco Bell was one of the worst I've ever been to. But the last few years it has become a great place. I'm not sure if there was a change of management or what, but the food is consistently made well and always hot. I like Taco Bell. I think this one packs their tacos much better than other ones I've been too. I even got an extra taco on taco Tuesday! Not sure if that was intentional but I ate it! Submitted an online order and picked up in the drive through. I ordered a crunch wrap supreme combo box, nacho supreme and a few other items. The Crunchwrap supreme and nacho supreme were not included in my order. I was extremely unhappy when I returned home to see that the items were missing since those were the items that were of significant costs. I've had other issues with missing items at this location before and it seems to continue to happen. I wouldn't be upset if it was a smaller item, but I spent about $30 on this order. read more

We are an elderly couple on a fixed budget. The Taco Bell in Glenmont is our place to treat ourselves when we do our grocery shopping for the month at Price Chopper or Walmart. Yes, they are usually short-staffed and sometimes the food prep can be a bit messy or unprofessional, but it usually tastes very good and we appreciate the Senior discount. The two of us usually split the Favorites box and once got an extra item (the cheesy fries) by mistake. We went back to let them know and they smiled and told us to keep them for free. I think they recognize us when we come in (which is nice) because we either order the favorites box or #5 for the two of us to share. How can you beat feeding two people for less than $7 including a drink! When I got my order it was just two tacos with beans, cheese and lettuce so I went to the counter and told them they were supposed to be vegetarian soft taco supremes and he said okay we'll remake it for you. Fine. Then when I got them I went back to my table and opened them and there was meat inside. A little peeved but I wasn't frustrated till the manager came over and said what's the issue. So I told her and she said that when I came over before I said beef soft taco supreme... those words would never come out of my mouth, I've been vegetarian for 8 years. Then she said that vegetarian soft taco supremes aren't something that they serve so I tried showering her my receipt and that it is an option on the kiosk and she just walked away after handing me two coupons. Then she called me back over and said she made them herself and the two tacos from before were still sitting on the counter so she picked them up and like threw them in the bag angrily? It was just a very unpleasant experience I couldn't even eat my food after all of that because I was so upset that I lost my appetite. When we were ordering the person on the mic kept mumbling "hurry up" every time we would order. When the current manager took over she was running a tight ship and everything was on point. The last two times we dined here everything was so wrong. Yesterday my hubby grabbed food on the way home we live about 40 minutes away. When he got home they only got two things right in the order so naturally he called and the manager said she would replace it. Today he went for the replacement and yet again everything was wrong. What we ordered was not in the bag. Both days the tacos were so soggy and gross it was like they handed us someone else's nasty left overs. Terrible workers, didn't even started because apparently they're mad fucking unorganized with their managers. One of their workers(no manager nor assistant and if they were that doesn't change ANYTHING) interviewed me and I would say it was the worst I ever had. This place is awful. I used to try going to breakfast here for just a coffee and a wrap and the service was comically bad. They didn't have coffee made at 8:30 am. I've tried lunch a few times as well (twice through online ordering) and the service is awful. This one lady that works during the week at lunch just stares at you at the counter and literally will not speak to you (hello, thanks, etc.) and then proceeded to not give he any napkins with the meal or offer sauces. It literally seemed like she hated me. Never coming back here, they should probably close this location and sell it to Chik-Fil-A or somewhere that values customer service. Tried to go through the drive through at the Glenmont NY Taco Bell tonight. Like I said Tried... The teller working the drive thru said they were short handed and there was a 5 item limit... I said, I have a family of 5 and did the 12 pack of tacos count as one item or 12? He said 12 and I could not order that. He said sorry for the inconvenience, but there are only two of us working. This is not the first time this taco bell has done this or similar Scenarios. Another time four of us went through the drive through and wanted two chicken items each. They said we don't have enough chicken... so we said ok, we'll just get beef then. They said "we're running out of beef too"... So we said what about a combo of chicken and beef? They said just order one item each, or they can't help us... WTF??? Than yesterday my two sons went to this taco bell just to get drinks, and they were out of all fountain drinks but 3... 3? Are F'n kidding me??? Was just here with my brother and the guy behind the counter not only messed up my order and charged me for 2 drinks, but messed up my brother's order as well. I had already paid when he told me that he charged me for two drinks, so I said I would just pay for my brothers drink too and not to worry about it. This guy charged him for a box which includes other things and is 4x the price of what he wanted after telling him twice that water was free because he wasn't listening and thought my brother was saying "two waters" instead of "two orders of nacho fries." I've never seen a poorer example of a how a business should conduct itself. There were barely any customers in the store but it took them 15 minutes to even take anyone's order. One girl in a black and white checkered shirt kept walking in and out of the store, knowing there was a line of people. Shortly after she walked out she walks back inside and starts screaming at another girl in the same shirt, screaming something along the lines of "you had someone come in here and try to hit me at my job???" Literally screaming. Mind you nobody had taken our order yet so everyone in the store is just watching all of this happen. I've never seen something more ridiculous in my entire life. Surprisingly the food came out good. I'll probably never return to this place. Not even an apology from anyone for waiting or for the poor conduct. I'm not one to review fast food joints but I'll make an exception for this TB. I usually hit this location for a quick, cheap dinner while my dog gets groomed at Petsmart. Taco Bell is a guilty pleasure. Every time I've eaten in, the service at this location is outstanding. Workers are really friendly, efficient and have even thrown a freebie in every once in awhile.
