The gentleman at the register is there every time we go, and he does a great job explaining all the different menu items. This last visit, I had the Torta -- a large, delicious, and very filling sandwich. We also had several types of tacos, plus chips and salsa. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly.

No real onsite dining (unless you go outside and it was cold-ish when we visited). Food was absolutely phenomenal. Felt obligated to go with the carnitas (at a carnitas restaurant) and they did not disappoint. Went with the verde sauce and was happy I did. Incredible flavor and generous portions. Not in a nice area and some of the customers that came in were very rude but the employees were nice and welcoming. Will very likely go out of the way regularly to come back and try more! Above all I was most impressed with the reasonable pricing. We will be back!

Hefty portions and decent prices (a bit higher than many taco joints). The guy at the counter was pleasant and our food came out fast. Not a huge beverage selection, but they had a few beers. I've dined both inside and outside and both have been good experiences. Located on the corner of a higher foot traffic area along a one-way street, the outdoor experience provides good people watching opportunity and I was engaged by a few passer-Byers commenting on the food to the good weather. Indoor seating is a little tight and not ideal for groups over 4. The service is consistently good! The food, well, maybe the last visit was not their best and tbf they were packed. I wanted my son to try Street Tacos for the first time and he didn't like them (he ordered the kids soft taco). I ordered my usual Birria tacos w corn tortilla and it was a little dry tasting. Maybe I didn't put enough sauce or something but it just want the best. I ate 2 of the 3 tacos. This is a one off and I'll give them another chance, my son may not but there is always hope.

The menu offers tacos with your choice of meat (steak, chicken, carnitas, shrimp, or chorizo), tacodillas, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, fries (cheese fries, carne asada fries), bowls, and even pupusas. They also feature birria tacos on certain days. You are welcome to customize your order, as the toppings they have available are onions, cilantro, tomatoes, lettuce, pico de gallo, and sour cream. We came here for a later lunch and ordered the following: +shrimp tacos - the shrimp were large and of a generous amount; they were fresh and juicy, and had a nice marinade to them; great with the mild tomatillo salsa that you can request, as it comes with pico de gallo and a cilantro crema +steak tacos - opted for only chopped onions; the steak was good +birria tacos - definitely super cheesy, and the beef was super tender and fell apart; it had good flavor; the consommé was one of the better ones I've had! +steak burrito - I liked that the tortilla was lightly pan-fried; however, it had way too much rice, and the refried beans were super runny Staff were super friendly and welcoming, and currently, they are cash only. There are some picnic tables to enjoy your meal before you go, as well as portable John next to the truck. The trash bag is in the rear of the truck. We ordered cheese enchiladas, chile rellenos, asada tacos, a fajita plate with all the different meats including chorizo chicken and steak. Most of our group got rice and beans on the side which were pretty good. My issue lies with the cheese - instead of Monterey or shoot, even cheddar! They used some type of American cheese (like white Kraft slices) in ALL THEIR FOOD - that's right, ALL OF IT! American cheese on the beans, in the enchilada, in the chile relleno, and yes - EVEN THE ASADA TACOS!!! I was SO bummed. Other than the food that we'll never come back for again, the service was really good - our server was a young smiley gal - VERY sweet. She spoke both English and Spanish seamlessly transitioning when speaking with our party. The tables and chairs are covered in artistic decor that's very beautiful and decorative. The walls have murals of the Mexican flag and it's really pretty inside - great vibe all around. I got the impression this place was more of a bar hang out - though the drinks were 16$ a pop on special while the tacos were 1$ on a taco Tuesday - there were still A LOT of people sitting in at the bar. Looked like a good time. Someone in our group ordered a dragonfruit margarita and he said it was REALLY good! Well made. So I can see why people would come for the drinks. Unfortunately we will not be returning because the American cheese situation ruined the taste of 80% of the food.
