There are also high top tables, only high tops. It's a bit snug in there, and the tables are small but we managed. The food was delish! I had the carnitas bowl and it was so huge, I couldn't finish it! My hubby had the trio tacos, and my brother had the beef burrito. Hefty portions and decent prices (a bit higher than many taco joints). The guy at the counter was pleasant and our food came out fast. Not a huge beverage selection, but they had a few beers. I have dined here on 3 different occasions in the last year and was impressed all but the last. That's said I would try again. I've dined both inside and outside and both have been good experiences. Located on the corner of a higher foot traffic area along a one-way street, the outdoor experience provides good people watching opportunity and I was engaged by a few passer-Byers commenting on the food to the good weather. Indoor seating is a little tight and not ideal for groups over 4. The service is consistently good! The food, well, maybe the last visit was not their best and tbf they were packed. I wanted my son to try Street Tacos for the first time and he didn't like them (he ordered the kids soft taco). I ordered my usual Birria tacos w corn tortilla and it was a little dry tasting. Maybe I didn't put enough sauce or something but it just want the best. I ate 2 of the 3 tacos. We ordered the Tacodillas (Birria and Refried beans) served with the chips and salsa on the side and it was meh . Loved this place upon walking in. The cashier was super friendly and helpful when ordering. The restaurant itself is small and seems like it can get packed. Fortunately, I was able to snag a seat given I made it there right when it opened. The menu had a good amount of options, and included some healthier things like the "Keto Bowl" as well as "Gluten Free" options. My husband got the Taco Trio - Birria, which he enjoyed - it did pack a little heat so be mindful! I ordered the Keto Bowl with Birria and as other reviewers have stated, it could use a little more meat given the amount of lettuce provided. But you probably could just get double protein to solve this tiny issue. All in all everything was flavorful and fresh and the meal was great. Great spot for a quick bite. It's very clean, a bit small but the food is very good, affordable, lots of hot sauces to pick from. While taking an evening stroll in Fredericksburg, we stumbled upon Juan More Taco. I had been wanting Mexican (really, a margarita) for sometime, so we decided to check it out. We stepped inside and it was pretty jumping! I would say seating was adequate, with seating along the window bar style, a few cocktail tables, and about 3-4 tables outside. We were able to easily find an open table, but I can only imagine what it's like on a weekend night. I ordered a margarita and the burrito with birria, my husband had the tacodillas with asada and chicken and my sister-in-law had the vegan quesadilla. Our food was delicious, but I was very disappointed in my margarita. I'm convinced there was no tequila in it and it didn't look like the neighboring table's margarita which makes me think I didn't actually have a margarita. I was super excited to try JMT. The menu is somewhat small and reminds of me Chipotle in that they have tacos, bowls, and burritos. One thing that's unique on their menu are the Summer Corn Cakes. It's basically two arepas with your choice of protein in between and served with a side of guacamole. It was pretty tasty but didn't leave anything to be desired. The locale is small so this is not a good place for large groups. JMT seems to be short staffed, so pack some patience. The staff, however, is very nice. The inside was very small and i don't particularly care for high tables and chairs, so i had no desire to eat inside... plus, Covid. Hands-down, the absolute most disgusting food I've ever had. I ordered a quesadilla with chicken. It was lukewarm, soaking wet. There was not even one lick of cheese on it and nacho chips were burnt to a crisp with some diarrhea colored salsa that had absolutely no flavor my husband ordered three tacos, two of which were discernible And it tasted like a salt lick we paid $45 to throw everything out. The chips were terrible, a thick, hard, and tasteless outsourced chip -- best comparison would be gradeschool lunch chips. The tacos come with nothing on them except a lot of meat & a ton of cilantro. They got our order wrong, twice. It was just... very unenjoyable food. We tried the chorizo, the carnitas, and the pork. I ordered kids quesadillas and added the street corn on the side mostly because I was more enthused about the corn BUT I was blown away by my quesadillas that I had upgraded by adding beef barbacoa, which was delicious! Both of my other guests accompanying me enjoyed their food throughly. I never know how to describe their style - bright, fresh flavors that seem to encompass Mexican, Peruvian, other central & south American & some Caribbean styles. The tres tacos offered mix & match of beef (rich, juicy, delicious), chorizo (surprisingly light in color, but spicy, bright, earthy, flavorful), chicken (can't describe- didn't have it), & Señor Hinkle (vegetarian - had it before, but not today - very tasty). My wife had a stuffed avocado that looked delicious & she said was, but I didn't get any. I did have a key-lime-pie-like dessert that was nicely tart & very tasty.
