Always consistent food. Friendly staff. Convenient location from my job. Clean store. Usually quick service. If there's a problem with orders they are good at resolving the issue. Visit weekly. I take advantage of Happier Hour with dollar drinks. Loved running to the boarder for years. Favorite fast food joint. Enjoy!

Thank you Lori W. for taco meat in a bag. This stuff is absolutely nuts. Go to Taco Bell by Kennywood is more of a miss than a hit and miss. Ordered a soft taco and this is what I get . Come on Lori. This place is always doing a bad job at providing orders.

Great descriptions. Pictures of every item. The takeout is simplified. Online tracking to know when it is actually done. Easy access at the front desk for pickup. Also, a great view of the ornate decor... anyone ever seen a glass pineapple of skulls as a chandelier Amazing food!!! Birria tacos were sooo gooey, filled with tender meat, and plenty of consume for dunking!! Elote was ingeniously cut into smaller pieces to share, swimming in a pool of delicious toppings, and sooooo fresh... for winter... not sure how but it was literally summer fresh. Empanadas had dough that should be awarded something. It was so flaky and balanced. Props to the team for propping them on a bed of lettuce to avoid the soggy bottoms! Salsa, guacamole, and chips... highest standard. I may come just to get these someday! Oh... and whoever found, invented, purchased the wacky wavy arm inflatable tube man... as a CACTUS!!!!!! Literally THE BEST. EVER!!!

Didn't totally line up with…read morethe hype/praise, but it was definitely good and we want to return and try other things. The unassuming old bank building is easy to find. Street parking behind it wasn't tough. There's a warning on the front door that this is a "takeout" establishment -- but there were plenty of tables. You can totally dine there! If you want alcohol, then definitely get your food to go. This is another place that has sadly gone person-free at the front with an ordering tablet. You lose so much in the lack of warm greeting, lack of assistance with ordering, etc. I don't like this tech trend! Setting that aside, we were able to order fairly easily. We had to fish around in the menu to find descriptions --- the print-outs and overhead menu had no details. The food: I had -- and would recommend -- the Flava Bowl with shrimp. That bowl was so packed, the lid almost didn't fit! Roughly 10 medium-sized sautéed shrimp over rice & peas (you get a choice of that or maduros or rice), with perfectly-cooked plantains & sautéed onions and red peppers. I had them add avocado. A good add, AND --- I sprinkled on some of their house made green hot sauce, a nice citrusy bit of heat. My husband was less high on his dish, the plantain sandwich- aka, the Jibarito with pollo ala plancha. He said it was quite dry, but it got better as he got some of the sauce (not sure what it was). It took 30 minutes to get our food, but the poor guy in the kitchen was totally alone fixing all of these orders (cooking, packing them up)! He was so apologetic; we felt bad for him. Our meal was good, though. The place clearly has a lot of heart. We'll definitely be back. Gotta try the mofongo.

The service is fast, they make it in front of you, and you have the option of picking some stuff up at the grocery store while you are there. Friendly family type ambiance and it feels good to know you are supporting a small business like this. At $4 a taco, when they are generous with the authentic meat filling, double up on the freshly grilled corn tortillas, and allow unlimited toppings made fresh daily make these tacos one of the best deals around. The filling is already super flavorful, so you don't necessarily need extra toppings, but I like adding extra onions and cilantro. For me, a lot of the salsas were extra spicy, so my recommendation is to taste them before putting them on the taco. The ones I got honestly didn't need any extra added flavor. I got the steak and onions and the pork with pineapple and loved them both equally. I got them last week and already miss them - the smell and texture of the meat, the fresh toppings, how your breath tastes after, the combo of everything together - definitely a solid taco joint

It specializes in selling Mexican and Central American foods. Its website says that its supermarkets offer several thousand products such as meats, fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and more. I do not recall shopping at their supermarkets, but perhaps I should shop there. So far, I think that I have been a customer of only their tent that was set up at the Pittsburgh Taco Festival in 2025. I bought one al pastor (pork) taco and one bisteck (beef) taco for about $8 total. The employees had the meat pre-cooked, so I did not have to wait long for my tacos to be ready. My husband and I shared the tacos, and we both enjoyed them. My husband said that he liked the flavors of the meats.

We ordered meals for six people right at lunch on a weekend and the food was prepared in under 20 minutes. Everything was so well packed for to go with generous portions. Plus they added in chips and salsa made everyone happy!! Takeout is right at the hostess stand and the bags were already full ready for a quick and easy pickup.
