Went there at 12:30pm on Thursday, May 21, 2026. The girl working the drive thru was a total b***h! First she made me wait before she took my order. I wouldn't care, but there was literally no one there. She sounded like she could not care less about being there. When ordering she would just go "is that it, pull up". Nothing on the screen. No confirmation that she had the right order. Nothing. Then when you get to the window she was literally leaning against it with her back to the cars, playing on her phone. When she opened the window, she rudely mumbled the amount, snatched the card from my hand and gave me a dirty look. She then essentially threw back to me. Mind you I had literally said nothing except placed my order. Then she asks if I want sauce, even though I said I did at the window Then she thrusts my order at me and goes back to her phone. Shocker, my order was wrong. When I came in, she argued and said "I asked if the screen was correct" but she literally never put anything on the screen and never asked me if it was right. She had to end her phone call to say that though. She had people in line at the drive thru while she was talking in her phone with her back to them and only stopped cause I was in there. She then walked away from the window entirely, still with people waiting. I get this is not a job people might be excited about, but at least pretend to care when you're there. I ordered some things via their app, then when I got to the drive-thru to pick it up, they told me they didn't make the items I ordered. (4 chili cheese burritos.) I asked for a refund on the items and they wouldnt. They told me I had to go through the app. I requested a refund through the app--3 times and counting--and I've not received a response from them. Unfortunately, we have to take Taco Bell off out fast food choices. We used to go to the location closest to our home, but it wasn't the best service. We decided to try a location farther away hopin for better service. The lady was grumpy bc I beleive she was the only one there. I didn't mind my cheesy wrap with chicken on a doughy puta and had the worse headache all day and night. My son ordered 6 taco hard shell with lettuce and cheese. He was in bed for two days. This review is about the food, not the service. Because the employees are very nice and friendly, and they work hard. But the food... it's appalling. I really have to stop eating Taco Bell in general. Fast food has gone way down hill in recent years. Is it even food anymore? The molecular structure has limits. If you do not eat the mush in the first few minutes, then it will turn to a sloppy mess. And the taste is fake. Even my Dr Pepper was way off. But you can't go back because there's a strict time limit of drive thru and how your items will last on your drive home. It's too bad. Service was speedy.Got down the ride and attempted to eat a few chips as I had ordered nachos and a burrito.I literally had to pull over turn the light on in my car because the nachos were oozing out of the sides of the box. I wish I could give this review 0 stars! This Taco Bell is absolutely the most ghetto and disgusting establishment in Crete, IL. I placed a $60 order on their app and was handed 1 bag so I decided to check to make sure everything was there before I left Taco Bell. As I checked the bag I was missing SEVERAL items. I immediately let them know what I was missing. A guy wearing a durag started to scream saying that he made my order personally and I wasn't missing anything. I said you make my order personally and he yelled at me and said yes I did! I asked if he was insinuating that I ate the food that I claimed I was missing. He started cursing at me and called me a b*tch and told me to leave HIS store. I asked for a refund. He proceeded to scream and curse at me. I called the Crete police who arrived at Taco Bell and said that they always have an issue with this particular Taco Bell. They asked that I get a refund and they said they could not give me a refund. They got his name as well - Jalen. I guess Jalen is the manager - nice manager huh!! I have called Taco Bell headquarters SEVERAL TIMES only to be left on hold waiting and also MESSAGED them several times and have received a general email stating thanks for contacting them and given an online code for 1 free item. Came by to find that the store was closed--- at 730 pm, on a Saturday! No closed signs,the lights were all on, but no cars in the lot and no one working inside. Seems like poor management to me, couldn't even be bothered to put up a sign on the drive through order box telling customers what was the deal. This place sucks but they actually take care of you. Ordered two quesadillas with extra chicken and extra cheese. They came without the sauce on them and little cheese and chicken. Went back in and they gave me the whole order again even tho I brought one quesadilla back. My kids had to eat right then and there and that's why I didn't have everything. When they first opened up, I understood there would be longer wait times as it's a new restaurant. Many months in and today I go there, order my food, come home to find they made it incorrectly. I took my food back and it took 20 minutes to remake 3 tacos. Another customer was waiting for 1 hour and she tried to get a refund and the manager told her that they cannot give a refund. The manager was upset and threw her phone around. For someone being a manager I would expect better courteous behavior and resolve the issue for the customer. I came here for a quick bite to eat with my dad and was automatically greeted by a dirty dining room and an unpleasant heat. When I say dirty dining room I mean no cleaned off tables, food all over the floor, liquid on the floor and chairs not even scooted in. While I was trying to order the cashier rudely interrupted me multiple times to talk to their coworkers or the drive through. I ordered a quesadilla with extra sauce and cheese and when I got it the cheese was cold and uncooked. Upon asking for it to be redone the next quesadilla I ordered had almost no cheese on it. I didn't even want to eat inside so we ate outside and the entire time I was there nobody had been in the dining room to clean it up at all. It's just ridiculous. First they took forever to make the food (20 mins) Second they messed up on 4/5 of the orders and gave me beans even though I'm allergic to beans with no beans written on the box.
