Nothing like placing a delivery order on a rainy night of a Chimichanga dinner, asking for everything plus cilantro & onions & Suizo and getting nothing but a dry ass tortilla filled with meat only!!!!!!!!! The food wasn't that good the rice wasn't even orange rice it was a pale orange see through almost, the quesadillas dinner the quesadillas were chicken and it was gray and not a grilled kind of gray, and when i reached out to the support team they told me that there was nothing wrong with my order i didn't even get rice or beans for the dinner so if you do uber eats don't reach out to their support team it isn't even worth it. It makes me so sad to write this review since their food is spectacular. My coworker and I order from here for lunch about once every other week. The taste is outstanding just about every time but their service almost always sucks. Today is just one example. I order from Yelp/GrubHub and it tells me 15-35 minutes. So I go in 30 minutes after I order and they haven't even started my order. I wait another 30 minutes for my food so one hour after I order it's ready to go. Then, I get back to work and check my meal and the guacamole I ordered (and paid for) is not on my chiles rellenos. Come on Burrito Station, you can do better than this! The quality of the steak has declined drastically over the last few years. Today, I declare this place to be steak-adverse. More times than not a steak taco is full of bland, fatty and tough meat. The corn shells don't reheat well, as they do at an alternate place I gravitated to as a result of the declining quality here. I have been going to Burrito Station for years and love their food, but today was the worst. Ordered steak tacos and almost instantly became very sick. So I called and spoke with a young lady by the name of Vanessa, and explained to her the problem and that she may want to check the ingredients. Well, Vanessa told me there is nothing wrong with their food, so I explained to her that I didn't want anything from her, just to let her know that we had gotten sick and all she could say was "ok, bye" and hung up the phone. From this vegetarian's point of view, Burrito Station is one of the better Mexican joints in the area. Directly across from Prairie State Community College (my college of choice), it is a favorite among the students, and rightfully so. The food is quality for the fast food Mexican style, and the prices are on the low side. $1.25 for a veggie taco is a steal. That being said, there are a couple of annoying parts. There is no restroom, for example (although that is illegal, stores that sell ready-to-be-eaten food are required to have a public restroom in Illinois). The service is pretty decent, though they have occasional missteps. Their tables and chairs are awful cheap pieces of crap that send terrible noises echoing through the room whenever you shift in your seat ever so slightly. My carnivore friends say that the meat has the tendency to be overly dry, which makes for a pretty nasty bit of food if you're a meat eater. The veggies, however, are awesome. They have very good beans and rice that are usually fresh, and they manage to get great flavor out of their vegetarian options, which makes my tummy happy. The best part of Burrito Station is the hot sauce. They serve it in these industrial size ketchup bottles, and it appears home made. Whether it is or not, I can't be sure, but its a fantastic flavor. It adds a strong but not overwhelming spice to the food, and an outstanding flavor that makes everything better. I like their steak tacos but I ordered a ground beef tostada and it was disgusting. One thing I've learned about Mexican food is that if you ever get a meat that doesn't look and taste normal, don't eat it. The ground beef was gray and tasted horrible. I only took one bite and threw the rest out. I would say that this place is about on the same level as a Taco Bell except I may trust Taco Bell's meat a little more.
