My wife and I wanted to try some of the local cuisine. Since we are the in Southwest we thought we would try this fine establishment. It was amazing. They actually put meat inside a crispy shell that they call a "taco". For just a little extra you can get it with tomato AND sour cream. We decided to splurge. The service was impeccable. They also even let you order without getting out of your car! What convenience! Talk about safety, there was a police cruiser in the parking lot! We felt safe and well fed. Front lady running the cashier, Jessica, was extremely rude. She acted irritated, mumbling under her breath, rolling her eyes, and sighing. We asked for sauce packets, cups, and napkins, all requests were immediately reacted with rudeness. So much so that we were afraid to ask anything more of her. I was so tired and hungry on my drive up to northern Arizona last weekend so I decided to pull off in Camp Verde. I looked at the clock and and it was 10:40 and Taco Bell closes at 11. I almost decided not to go here because I thought well it's the end of the night and everything I get isn't going to be fresh and the employees are going to be grouchy because they probably want to go home. EAT SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE, ELSE!!! This is quite literally the WORST Taco Bell in Yavapai County, & quite possibly the entire State of Arizona. I have NEVER ordered there & received the correct order on the first try, and just recently, they completely screwed it up on the second try as well. How hard is it to NOT put sour cream on things??? But the problem is I have family members with allergies, & one drop of that spunk will send them into anaphylactic shock, & since we lost our mastiff just before X-Mas, I can't even give that crap to him, I just end up chucking it in the trash (which, considering the overall quality, is really where it belongs anyway), and then when I call to inform them of their mistakes, they say come back in & we'll replace it. The problem there is that it's a 30-mile round trip, and then the most recent time, after Rachel apologized for her 2-week-old staff & promised to remake the remake, I show up & get Jared, the guy who dicked it up on the first go around, and HE states "management" changed it's mind & they will be "unable" to replace the 2-time screw-up replacement, so not only do I NOT get my correct, properly-prepared $35 order, I also waste a gallon of gas & almost an hour of my time in the process. And for that kind of money, I could take the family to a REAL restaurant. Next time I'll drive a little farther & go to the Taco Bell in Cottonwood, where they have NEVER messed up my order.
