    Spicy chicken tostada.

Located in a former Taco Bell that now looks tired from inattention, the food and service here were nonetheless very good. Judging from the amount of Spanish spoken in front of and behind the counter, Filiberto's serves up authentic Mexican food. It has a substantial and varied breakfast and dinner menu. We were happy with our tostadas--one with spicy chicken and one without. A condiments bar had a variety of pickled veggies, salsas, and other entree toppings.

This is the second time this week I've had this chicken bowl(pollo asado). I added the green guacamole salsa for a little spice. It's grilled chicken, pinto beans (not refried), pico de gallo, and rice. The portion is large. The food is tasty. Plus it's gluten and dairy free if that's a requirement. I'm on a gluten free, dairy free, low fat mandatory diet and this hit the spot! Plus there's enough left over for lunch tomorrow! I highly recommend it! The restaurant is clean with a bunch of tables or you can get food to go.

This particular fast food restaurant is located right off of the highway so seemed a convenient choice. There is nice air conditioning and according to the sign on the door, they are open 24 hours. Unfortunately, we must have arrived during cleaning hour as the air was thick with Clorox. There was a lone man sitting in a corner. The person mopping the floor saw us and then went behind the counter, washed his hands, then took our order - clearly agitated that we disrupted his cleaning routine. Rolled tacos with cheese and guacamole Sparse in appearance, but surprisingly crunchy and not at all bad. Reminded me of monster tacos from Jack in the box - formerly frozen food that you know is nasty to your system but still tastes pretty good. Beef tacos Two in the order - tender beef with salted rice and beans. You could almost say these were homemade. Fish taco Way too much tartar sauce and the fish was over breaded. I didn't bother finishing. The absurd cleaning odors and unwelcome service really makes it hard to appreciate anything on the menu - so some of the comments might be tainted by that initial impression.

This place is right off Hwy 260 in Camp Verde. You can dine-in, order to-go or drive-thru. They are open 24 hours!!! We opted to dine-in. It is a fast casual type of restaurant. You order at the front, pay, and they bring your food to your table. The cashier was quick and efficient- she was on the go. She was taking orders for the drive-thru, and orders inside, restocking things, light cleaning- she was doing it all. I ordered a #13 combo- Chimichanga which comes with refried beans and cheese , rice, lettuce, pico de Gallo, and topped off with guacamole and sour cream. The portions are huge. You have access to free chips and salsa at the salsa bar. They also have horchata (rice cinnamon), tamarind, and jamaica (hibiscus), along with the standard soft drinks. Drinks came with our combo. The interior looks like an old Taco Bell before all the TB's updated their restaurants. The food is however not Taco Bell. They use real meat here.

BEWARE‼ BEWARE‼ Had me a breakfast burrito this weekend at Filiberto's in Camp Verde Az. and in the photo enclosed it was was what was found inside of it!!! They have no telephone number to call them! This is pure neglect! WILL NOT GO BACK !!

Large portions (enough for leftovers), tender meat, fast prep. Had not been here before but will definitely come again.

That was the SMALLEST order of Carne Asada fries i have EVER seen from a Filibertos. And i have eaten at a few of them, including this one! Not only was it the smallest order but also the most expensive I personally have ever had! $29.00 for Carne Asada fries, chips, and beans! Typically is around $23.00 but I figured with the way everything else in the world is they probably had a price increase. regardless the price isn't the issue as much as the size of the order I received slid all of it to one side and literally half of the clamshell is empty. And to top it off I addrd extra items to it lettuce and tomato and extra cheese, normally the clamshell is very full. at least that's how it always is. But not this time! $30 bucks for fast food french fries! Wow

I do love Mexican food and try any place that I run across…read more I've been to this location three times and was satisfied for the most part. The first time I went, I got a combination platter with a Chile Relleno, enchilada, and taco with rice and beans. I honestly wasn't impressed with the flavors. All the items seemed pretty basic to be honest and my taco shell was a little burnt. But I decided to give another couple tries. The second time I went, I got the fajita steak taco salad. That was much better. Last but definitely not least I went and got there green chili burrito. Now that was something delicious. I would definitely go back for that dish. Amazing green sauce. They also have really good chips and salsa. It's a small place with good service. It's been busy every time I've been there so that must be a good sign. Anyway, give it a try sometime.

This is a little spot right off the highway on the way to our from Flagstaff to Phoenix. I've passed it many times and often wondered, and I am pleasantly surprised. It wasn't crowded when we went there, but I can see that it probably is at times. We had a quick bite to eat, and it was very enjoyable. It's nice to have an actually good restaurant right off the freeway went off. Those are the ones that are just good enough to fill your tummy. The food was good because in my experience whenever I have great tasting Mexican food, I do get a little indigestion lately and I did hear as well, but don't take it as an indication that the food is bad. It was very nice and I will be back.

Soooo, I would guess the place may get busy on weekends perhaps? The food was your average Mexican-American Cuisine and the prices were the same as much larger or nicer establishments, but since I think its the only Mexican restaurant around for miles, they have the market cornered. The Chimi was pretty small (should have known since it was only $4) but the burrito I ordered was the expected. The margaritas were good but the chips and salsa did not include bean dip as mentioned by another reviewer. Guess they stopped doing that. My suggestion to the management: advertise some happy hour specials and offer them daily. This will at least bring in SOME business. You are on a major thoroughfare; utilize this to your advantage. You will attract plenty of locals along with several travelers (like myself) in need of refreshment and a decent meal.

The waitress was great, continuous refills on drinks, chips and salsa. After sitting down you get a great big basket of chips, two salsas, pico and bean dip. The chicken burrito and the chicken enchilada suiza was stuffed with chicken - no skimping on the meat here. The margs were fair - not the best I have ever had but after a day of hiking tasted wonderful. The only thing not recommended is the grilled cheese - but hey it is a Mexican restaurant what can you expect :)
