Honestly this location is one of the best Taco Bells in Augusta. Any time we came here, we've had no problems, no issues with our order, or issues with cashiers acting snippy with us. Not travel friendly! Coming across on I 20 I waited to get to a Taco Bell. Never again. by the time I got here, I needed to use the restroom, and I wanted to wash my hands. They won't let you into the restroom until after you order and pay. Telling them that you're going to order isn't enough. The tall, older woman was extremely rude and raised her voice. She said that it was for my protection, however, once I get into the bathroom, I noticed that there's no lock for me to lock, so anyone with the code can come in, but I can't secure the door. After all her warnings and her explanation that it was so that someone wouldn't attack me in the bathroom or come in and shoot me, I was definitely not liking this location or its staff. We came in for dinner and my wife was going to take our small child to the restroom while I ordered our food. They refused to unlock the bathroom door before I ordered and paid for our meal. We explained that I was going to order while they used the bathroom, however they INSISTED that we pay for our food before they would open the restroom. The food is fine, and most of the employees are fine, too. But the sole reason I'm even posting a review is because of one particular employee. I've been coming to this Taco Bell the past couple years since I moved to this side of town and it's right around the corner from where I live. So naturally I'd be thrilled to have a Taco Bell so close, but I'm hesitant to come here in case the light-skinned woman is working drive-thru. Every single time she takes my order and hands me my food she has this scowl like I personally offended her with my presence. Look, I worked fast food back in the day and I know how tedious it can be to deal with customers day in and day out, so I don't mind if she doesn't feel like smiling at me, I don't care if she doesn't say "have a nice day," I wouldn't even be here giving a negative review if she only glared at me for asking for mild sauce once. But it's the fact that it's every single time I come here. It's the fact that one day last month I came here and got a different worker and I mentioned "the light-skinned woman that always looks angry," and the woman working the window knew exactly who I was talking about and said, "she's always like that." So after all that then today I swing by for a burrito, check the bag and call out, "excuse me," and she whipped her head around as if saying with her eyes, "what the f$#@ you want?!" I said, "can I have some mild sauce, please?" She pushed a few mild sauce packs into my hand and closed the window before I could even say thank you. I don't know what she's got going on in her personal life, but she should leave that at the door when she comes to work. Everyone else there is doing a good job and I appreciate them. What better way to end a trip to the Masters than with a trip to Taco Bell. This Taco Bell (#023707) was conveniently located just around the corner from where we parked to go to the tournament. It was also on the way and close to the exit for I-20 back to Atlanta, so we stopped here for a quick bite to eat before heading home. Washington Rd is filled with strip malls, motels, fast food, and chain restaurants. The restaurant was pretty empty when we visited, Sunday after the Masters was over. I ordered a Quesalupa combo ($5.49) and my friend got a Mexican Pizza ($3.29). The Quesalupa combo came with one Quesalupa, one soft taco, and a large fountain drink. The Quesalupa is a new menu item at Taco Bell. It's like a Chalupa except the shell has cheese inside. It was good, though I think I prefer the Chalupa, which is one of my favorite things to get at Taco Bell, because it's not as cheesy. The thick, chewy, fried shell is what makes the Chalupa good. I had the choice of chicken, steak, or ground beef inside my Quesalupa. I chose ground beef. The Quesalupa also came with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream. The layer of cheese inside the shell was thin, but noticeable. The Quesalupa came in a special Quesalupa-branded paper sleeve inside a Quesalupa-branded wrapper. The soft taco and fountain drink were par for the course. My friend seemed to enjoy her Mexican pizza. Our cashier, Taylor D, was nice. Yelper David C mentioned in his review (dated 1/6/2014) that the sauces were behind the counter. That's not an issue anymore. The sauces are now out front across from the drink station. Traffic was backed up on Washington Rd headed towards the interstate, so we left out the back, around the motel next door, and turned onto Washington from Boy Scout Rd where there is a light. read more

Simple quesadillas with extra meat and no jalapeño sauce, get home after $34 spent, open it up missing one quesadilla and there's no extra meat on either of the other two. Wow!! I can't begin to explain how nasty and unorganized this restaurant is!! I stood and waited for my order for 30 min. While observing the manager make my tacos she decided to answer a cordless phone and proceed to carry on meaningless conversation with someone and the whole time handling my food. She hung the phone up using her gloved hands and went right back to touching my food. I stopped her and asked her to please change her gloves and do my order over again. When the tacos came with lettuce I got back in line and pulled up and respectfully asked them to remake it. The window guy said it was my fault I didn't say it right and told me I would have to pay for the new tacos again. This makes the third time I've been denied service for being "closed" fifteen to twenty minutes prior to closing. Once, it was a simple "we closed". Second time was the workers straight up just turning the lights off when I pulled into the drive through and not acknowledging me. Tonight was "We're closed." When I said "Sorry, I thought you guys didn't close until 2" ( which was a solid 20 minutes away) I was told "it's just two of us and we can't run the shift" How long has it just been two people who "can't run the shift"? Fast, friendly service just off the interstate. I stopped through at 2 p.m. on my way from Columbia, S.C. to Birmingham, Ala. There was only one person ahead of me in the drive-thru, and I had my meal -- nachos bell grande with extra cheese, two Doritos locos tacos, one bacon chalupa, and a beef Frito burrito -- within seven minutes from entering the parking lot. Cost was $12.16. The food was good. The lettuce and tomato was cold and crisp, just as it should be. The Fritos in the burrito were fresh. I didn't care for the bacon chalupa; it's made with bacon bits. I wish they would bring back the crunchwrap sliders. Drive-thru cashier was nice and even commented on how pretty my dog is. Great experience, even though the road outside is narrow and busy and in-out traffic is kind of a hassle. One star off just because the location is so difficult. read more

I know its not the locations fault, its a company policy now, but I think it is ridiculous that the sauces are behind the counter so you end up going up front groveling for more sauce and hope they don't arbitrarily cut you off. So until they change that policy they lose a star. This place is hard to take lefts out of and into so depending on what side of the street you are on you may choose to skip this place. So, this my first bad review. Myself and my wife went into this Taco Bell at 3:00 pm for a small snack. Five minutes after I ordered, I thought my order was up, but it was the order two ahead of mine. Another five minutes, and I received my order on a wet and very dirty tray. The food was of normal Taco Bell standard, not bad but nothing to brag about. When we looked around and for a seat, we found that most of the tables were not very clean. Worst Taco Bell I have ever visited and I'm from Oklahoma. Hey 26 minutes and I finally got my food. The cashier wasn't even allowed to give out cups. The would tell the customer to just get it themselves by reaching around and behind the counter. The tacos I ordered had very little meat and an overload of lettace. I ordered chicken chalupas but received beef chalupas. When I took it back the attitude started what I asked the cook to fix my order. Customer's kept having to ask for lids to the cups. Workers walking around as if they are lost. A definate race favoritism, which not only bothered me but even a black man and woman couple. Oh I am white if you need to know. The best part if all of this is that the supervisor and general manager was doing there job...I think. I sat directly behind her and made several comments of the service, wait, and but she did nothing to fix the problem. I don't know what the supervisor was doing but she came out when I was halfway through with my meal to sit with the general manager or regional manager whoever it. There were so many vehicles backed up outside but the customers started coming inside to find out what was going on and if they could get some lunch, one customer even asked if they were open. Wow! The fact of the matter is that Im not even pissed knowing that I don't have to come back to this Taco Bell that is 1100 miles from my own state. It's probably for the best knowing that I was very insulted when it came to the racist individuals one being the head manager who was so worried about the regional managers reviews and the cashier was so scared she didn't know what the hell to do. Lastly I went into the bathroom and I will honestly say don't use it unless you like walking in the floors that are so sticky it's almost as if somebody poured soda on the floor and let it dry. Normally when you go to a fast food restaurant you would see workers cleaning tables as customers left or sweeping the floors to keep the place as clean as possible yet the table I ate on was extremely filthy with food, soda, and sauce packets. I had to clean the table myself. As I picked up my trash and took it to the trash can I walked past the general manager and manager hands not one of them stopped to ask about my comments but they clearly heard. I was speaking loud enough that it would alert them to check this website as well as Facebook with regard to this review and I must say this place is very sad. Don't let it fool you and don't just give 5 Stars just because you went there and had food. If you're going to write something give them a review just like I have and make it worth their white and gold but you also have to make it worthy of the business so that they can learn from their mistakes. read more

I pulled into the parking lot and was planning on using the drive thru but there were 4 cars lined up just to get to the ordering billboard, so I backed up to go inside. Another car pulled in as well and 4 guys rushed out and got ahead of me and of course they all ordered individually. I finally got to order and thought well, at least I will be ahead of some in the drive thru. Wrong. The first guy who ordered inside ahead of me went back after me and ordered a couple more tacos. He got his second order before I got mine. By the time I finally got my food there was not a single car in the drive thru nor anyone inside the store.
