The abbreviated review is to say if you're looking for top notch sharpening at super reasonable rates you'll want to find this business. So to start I will link the page on their site that has their scheduled locations. https://tvmsharpening.com/schedule/ Right now they seem to have the truck parked in parking lots of small community grocers. Works for us! They'll also do house calls, if you have the amount of work to justify it. I'm thinking an annual or bi-annual community event in my neighborhood for the truck to park and neighbors to get their knives sharpened would be a great idea. The sharpening tradesman, Robert Barkley, has a sharpening shop set up in the back of the truck and a very nice woman, maybe the missus, is in the front taking in the items to be sharpened, writing out the invoices, providing time estimates for the items to be completed. (Plan on a couple of hours, plus or minus, depending on how many jobs are ahead of you and how many items you have to drop off. They will text you when job is done.) Both delightful people and I knew this would be so when on our first encounter Robert mentioned getting a pair of shears someone had brought in ahead of us as being a "bearcat" to reassemble for the unusual spring mechanism . That is the phrase used by my dad's relatives from the mid-west in the day and it was music to my ears. And to give you an idea of the fun sense of humor of this owner, when I unwrapped the knives at home I found his business card tucked in with a band aid stapled to the back. Sharp knives...band aid.. Clever! ;-) The first tranche of kitchen knives we brought in left the truck the sharpest they've been in a long time! Perfect edges. As a...umm...well seasoned home cook who has been passionate about local food sourcing and cooking for umpteen decades, cooking keeps me sane, this was a great start on the short list of 5 items I gave my husband of umpteen decades "minus" in preparation for a "Big Zero" birthday I have coming up. At the top was, "Get my knives professionally sharpened." Now he can check that one off and move on to the next item on the list. An equally practical entry, "Get my watch band resized." Was able to get an appointment ASAP with no issues. Easy access in and out (important when driving these things!) The shop has the be the cleanest there is and the waiting area looks like Macy's with everything thing a dedicated CAT owner might dream of! The parts counter is clear un cluttered and the guys could not be more friendly and helpful. Not only help you but also the cashier (nice touch). My service tech found me in the waiting room and took me out to the bus. He politely hooked in and stayed on it for about an hour until it was dialed in and all the controls were adjusted to my preferences! Answered all my questions and had me on my way. I was able to get pricing on services such as oil changes and found them to be 30% less then the best prices I had found! I'll be coming back here for a long time!

Their graphic design is very lacking and it is solely up to you to create your own design work. Do not rely on them. Customer service is seriously lacking. Very disrespectful communication by phone and email. If you want changes or are unhappy with your install they do not stand by their work. After inquiring about one my decals that was not straight or installed in the proper location they emailed me back and said "we are short staffed can't get material and don't have the capability to do this job any longer" Take that quote into consideration if you are going to hire them.

Quality of "Character" was brought up multiple times and believed this was the best choice. I got it wrong. Dropped the car off on a Monday with an expectation of a week to complete. However, on Wednesday I got a call telling me they had run out of the wrap material and had to order more so delivery was going to be delayed. Thought to myself, eh, mistakes happen it will be a day longer I can wait it out, it's gonna look great!.. Well, Friday comes and I get another call with them saying since there are storms in Texas the shipment of vinyl is held up in Tennessee. Figured ok, the mess in Texas is understandable but it's FEDEX of all carriers they will get it straightened out. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday all come and go.. Sun has been shining in Texas and Tennesee for a week and Artsign still had no answer to when it would arrive.  They could not even give me an expectation of when it might arrive, they just "didn't know" anything other than it was in Tennesee. So in frustration, I talk to the owner who listened but still couldn't provide any solutions beyond giving me $250 off the $3200 cost of the service, or I could drive my half-completed car home and just wait. They said they exhausted every option in trying to find other sources of material and that their hands were just tied. I told her in a very frustrated customer voice that I'd call her Friday and we can check our options from there and just hung up. Thursday Morning I got a call from the installer and said that they had decided that they were going to remove the wrapping they had done and refund me my money.  Told him let's hold off, it had been near two weeks and we may as well wait it out a bit more to see when it could get in. He said he would talk to the owner. IN the meantime I decided to call a shop that had the vision of how I wanted my car and in literally 10 mins I had a roll of material shipped overnight, morning delivery that would have been there Friday. I solved their problem for them.  Calling the installer again to tell him the good news I got the reply, and I quote... "We decided that we are just going to take the wrap off the car, refund your money," I said, wait I have the material coming.. He replied "We are going to take the wrap off the car, we do not want to do business with you" Absolutely incredible I thought. Here I was a frustrated customer, was never rude, obnoxious (in my eyes), or raised my voice, I was just someone who was getting beat down by delays and yes they couldn't give a crap beyond saying "they're sorry". I could appreciate the Texas situation, no one expected that, and I could appreciate the delays Fedex could have had. But yet, no one could answer why the hell didn't they order enough material in the first place? And why could I find in literally 10 mins what they said they couldn't find in days. Anyway, I picked up the car today and am off to find a new place to do business with. These folks, Artsign I sincerely do not recommend doing business with. Their professionalism, service, and commitment to their customer is absolutely questionable.
