Honestly, as someone who grew up in Costa Rica and knows how these dishes are supposed to taste,…read morethis place didn't meet my expectations. I really wanted to enjoy my experience, but there is definitely room for improvement. The arroz cantonés is not something I'd recommend if you're familiar with authentic Costa Rican arroz cantonés it wasn't even close. The chifrijo was also disappointing and lacked flavor. On top of that, it had a very strong soapy taste that made it difficult to eat. The staff also wasn't very accommodating. We explained that we were dissatisfied with the arroz cantonés and had only taken a few bites before deciding not to eat it, hoping it could be removed from the bill. We were told that because we had "tried it," they couldn't take it back. At the same time, the staff said that once a dish leaves the kitchen, they can't do anything about it. That policy felt contradictory and isn't something I've typically experienced in the restaurant industry, especially when a customer
