Amazing food and friendly staff. Evertime we go we have a great time. It is definitely a hidden gem in Fond du Lac!

Stop reading and stop in! You can thank me later…read more Food: I had the baked stuffed jalapeños for an appetizer. Such a unique mix of ingredients that compliment so well. Slight crunch, soft pimento. Delicious! Bulgogi- sandwich was for lunch. It was insane!!! Packed with sweet flavor and the toasted bun was perfect. I added fresh jalapeños for that sweet heat! Miso sesame ahi tuna- my buddy had this, and I almost ate half haha. It was amazing. Super shocked how fresh tuna was in Wisconsin! Service: Aaliegha was amazing! Super sweet and such a fun personality. Sit at the bar and chat her up! Ambiance: They did incredible with this place! I know the owners and these girls have busted their butts on this place and it shows. Hands down best food in Fond Du Lac. I used to live here and I travel all over, this is top notch! You ladies overdid yourself here!

The ambiance and food here is kind of a mixed bag!…read more I was excited to experience the pretty interior you see on their website. I expected a bit of a nicer vibe, especially for Valentine's Day. Wasn't the case. What they don't show in most of the photos you see online is they have a bar area right when you walk in with quite a few TVs. Then in the further dining area there are slot machines off to the side.... I would also say the servers are not dressed in a particularly appropriate attire in my eyes. I saw multiple servers in short/tight crop tops, more fit for a night out than serving a Valentines Dinner. Just not what I expected, given how they present themselves online. Now to the food! I will say, MAJOR PROPS for how well seasoned everything is. BUT I added chicken to my pasta dish and it was quite rubbery and fakey feeling NOT WORTH ADDING ON. Then on the elote rice, we added shrimp, and the shrimp was cut up into tiny pieces, hardly perceptible. Both appetizers were 5/5 great! I really like the beautiful church atmosphere and the appetizers give me hope. I just wish they would commit to being a finer dining establishment or add more fun casual elements. I think they can't decide what their deal is. Catering to multiple audiences makes both suffer. And maybe invest more into high quality chicken and larger shrimp on the rice.

Gorgeous space right on the lake and even though we were there in winter, it was still a pretty sight to look out the windows. The restaurant was packed with regulars and the it was a fun Friday night, I'm glad they took reservations. We started out with drinks, which had a separate menu. Not the easiest to navigate for the specials as they just had funny names and not what was in it. Overall my old fashioned was super sweet due the maple syrup, so I would probably just stick with your usual order. As for the food, the CHEESE CURDS were truly some of the best that I've had! Ooey, gooey, deliciousness! Perfect crunch and also melted in your mouth. The menu itself is very extensive and there is something for everyone to eat. I appreciated that most of the entrees came with a soup or salad, though I will say that none of the food absolutely wow'ed me. The dessert was interesting. The brownie was classic and the gluten free cheesecake..was gluten free. Very strange in my opinion, but appreciate that they have it as an option. Overall, I would definitely come here for a fish fry, a drink, and I can totally see this place hopping in the summer.

Gabby was our server, she was terrific! The food, however...huge disappointment! The gumbo was watery and not given the time it needed to meld the flavors just right. I had the Walleye with a cauliflower sauté...the fish was very good, but the cauliflower sauté was OVERWHELMED by a ridiculous amount of bacon (unmentioned in the description.) I'm glad I wasn't pescatarian. The accompanying squash was tough and lukewarm, I suspect cooked earlier and waiting to be dished up. My husband got the Gnocchi with a rubbery sirloin steak and a sad potato gnocchi. Neither of us finished our meals. I would definitely go back for the view and drinks, no food. (This review was from our visit last summer. I left it in drafts)

I was driving back home with a coworker from the Oshkosh area and we were in desperate need of breakfast. It was a Sunday morning, and apparently Perkins and IHOP are the place to be. We were still on the clock so could not wait for a table, and started looking for anywhere we could find that was open early Sunday morning and not too far out of our way. This place came up and we called to see if there was a wait - no such wait! This is a down-home diner that probably hasn't changed the decor since it opened. They have regular restaurant seating and an old-fashioned diner counter. We obviously opted for the counter. All of the staff was so incredibly nice and helpful! We had been in a bit of a rush, but did not tell staff we were in a rush. I think we got in and out of Boda's in about 15-20 minutes. Food was plentiful and serving sizes were large. I cannot stand when "scrambled eggs" are really just folded omelette eggs with nothing in the omelette. Boda's truly scrambled their eggs and it was great! I had the eggs, potatoes, toast, and coffee for under $5. My coworker had the "Deluxe" breakfast with corned beef hash, eggs, toast, meat, and maybe even something else? It was such a good breakfast. I believe our total bill for everything together - including food and coffee/juice - was about $14.50. Great food, great service, great price - an undiscovered gem that you absolutely must try out!
