My Prime Rib was excellent! Sides not so much…read more I have to admit, with a steak that great, who cares about the sides! But... salad was skimpy and the stuffing was way too mushy. Did have great service and prices are very responsible.

Even on a busy Saturday night, we easily found parking in their large lot. We entered the packed bar and followed the time honored tradition of checking in our party with our helpful bartender. We learned to set up our menus when we were ready to order. That put us in a prime position to order drinks. We ordered drinks before dinner and returned after dinner for a dessert drink. In both cases the drinks were well made and reasonably priced. When we were sat for our meal, there was a relish tray. It was enough for our party but looked silly on the oversized tray. Being a salad bar fan, I missed it. However, the soup of the day was very good. Those who had salads were satisfied by the size and quality of the salad. Our group exclusively picked off the combo menu. The portions were nice sized and everyone said their meal was appropriately hot. The ribeye was well seasoned and cooked as ordered. The homemade rib sauce was tangy and complimented the fall-off-the-bone ribs. The chicken was also tasty. This is a very traditional supper club. Those who seek out traditional clubs will truly enjoy this place. We did and will definitely return.

I couldn't find a picture or listing of Kenicky's full menu anywhere online so I called to place an…read moreorder after seeing a social media post where a few people said they have the best wings around. I was told that the minimum order for wings was 6 and that they were $1 each. After hearing the list of sauces/rubs, I ordered a basket (includes fries) with 6 honey BBQ and 6 jerk dry rub. I also ordered a plain cheeseburger that came with fries. Overall the wings were a letdown. A couple were tinier than I would have expected and not at all worth $1 each. The jerk dry rub had no heat to it and the flavor of the honey BBQ sauce was weak. Even on Wednesdays when Kenicky's wings are $0.75 each that's a terrible value. I'd rather go to Joe Mama's in Colgate and get their wings, which are far superior. The cheeseburger had good flavor, even though it was cooked more well done than the medium I asked for. I hate crinkle fries and would have gladly substituted for tater tots (supposedly a $1 up-charge) had I known that's the fries they serve. The fries were bland and not very crispy, which is par for the course when it comes to crinkle fries. Unfortunately I didn't pay attention to the receipt until well after I left and I started to upload my pictures because it looks like I was overcharged. The menu says the 12 piece wing basket is $11.50 but I was charged $12 for the wings and an additional $1.50 for the fries. If the basket is actually $13.50 the menu should reflect that, otherwise you're being dishonest and stealing from unsuspecting customers.

Get there early or you'll end up waiting. Don't drink? Too bad; if you don't get there early, you'll wait. Salad bar (which I love), not here. Muddled old fashioned, not here. Cozy atmosphere and solid customer service, definitely in the right place. We arrived with a veteran couple. They got us there early, understood the ordering routine and found us a place to sit. We ordered appetizers and drinks. Definitely get the onion rings as they are incredible! Drinks were solidly poured and reasonably priced. We ordered and were surprised by how quickly we were seated. The vegetable tray and bread basket were good. Our meals came out shortly after we were seated. The salads were nice sized and the blue cheese dressing with crumbles was great. Our entrees (ribeye, tenderloin with chicken, prime rib and fish) were all sized nicely and prepared as ordered. My dining partner said the chicken was some of their all-time favorite. My ribeye was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Our dining partners loved their choices. Overall, I'd really like to give 4.5 stars, but my pals at Yelp still don't trust half stars. We all enjoyed our experience and will definitely put this on our list of supper clubs to return to!
