So that they don't clog up tables with people just waiting. Our server Brittany was AMAZING. Very kind, quick, and every time you asked for something she brought it right away, never missed anything or forgot anything. The restaurant dining area is smaller and cozy, but they are trying those tables as fast as they can. And the food is outstanding, great flavor. And large portions, you get a lot of extras too. It seemed really cramped inside I walked around all of the seating areas and it was the same everywhere. While they bill themselves as being on the water, you really can't see the water from any seat in the house from what I observed, even if you're out on the deck, which is terribly uncomfortable in July. We actually were seated at possibly the worst table in the house. In a back corner behind the first floor bar next to a window that only showed you the backside of another building and a sliver of grass. The upstairs seating is truly undesirable because they've converted an area that wasn't meant to have tables in. It is super cramped up there and also everywhere on the first floor. The only place with a little bit of elbow room is the deck. You know a place is to cramped when the servers have to negotiate moving between tables to avoid patrons and other servers.
