Great restaurant in the heart of Bentonville. My team came here for dinner and everyone really enjoyed the food and the cozy atmosphere. I had the butternut squash and goat cheese enchiladas - which were not authentically Mexican but they were very delicious! Everyone enjoyed what that ordered - the chips and salsa were great too. The town is very small (aka like 2 blocks long) and cute - if you go there you can also see the original Walmart "Walton'" read more

Pretty nice ambiance - relaxing feel coupled with a touch of contemporary style. We started with dipping duo with nachos. The nachos were spiked with some sort of seasoning giving them a very nice taste. Crispy calamari with artichoke was simply phenomenal! I have never had this kind of calamari before. It had a base of black beans with light sauce and dribbles of cheese on perfectly crispy calamari. 5 stars for the calamari. For mains, I took Mesa pastrami Reuben. It was huge in size. Bread was perfectly toasted but something was lacking. May be the sauce was a bit bland or pastrami lacked some seasoning etc. I have had better. Overall, it was a great experience. read more

great fusion food. love their creativity. korean taco was nice.

The Macho Nachos were excellent as was the Tacos. Some of the other items on the menu look very inviting and I will try the next time.

This is a real gem, and it would be a gem if it were in NY or Chicago. Love the variety of tapas style and Mexican food. Great atmosphere and nice location in historic Bentonville area. read more

The place is well located and has a great atmosphere. We tried the fish tacos and a plate of salmon which was on the special for the day. The wine list is exhaustive. I had the sangria which was really good. read more

Get the cheap dates as an appetizer. Best decision ever. Great place, quieted down pretty early (9pm on a Wed).

I only had the curry chicken burrito. It was pretty good, but I would have liked it a little more spicy than sweet. I would go back. If I could, I would give it 3 1/2 stars. read more

Table Mesa is a little gem of a restaurant. With real fire sconces on the walls, a unique drink menu, banana chips mixed in with the corn chips, and a wide variety of dishes to choose from, there wasn't much to dislike. The queso fundido was excellent--slightly sweet. We tried the bacon wrapped dates too and they were like little bites of heaven! I would get them for dessert! My main entree of fish tacos was so filling that I couldn't try dessert...but next time! read more

Food is good but the service is awful. DON'T TRY TO BOOK ONLINE! They'll ask when you booked it and just say "Okay, well we have priorities ahead of you so....." and that be it. OK bye. read more

Was in town again with a small group and recommended this for the last night we were there together. Experience and food was as good as experienced previously. Waitperson was a bit stiff and we all had fun trying to see if she'd smile while serving us, but food, drinks, and experience was top notch with a great price. Thanks for helping me impress my teammates! read more

Seriously quite a surprise. Dos Enchiladas were off the charts. Service was fabulous. Great great time.

This place is great. Great, modern Mexican food - with a terrific tapas menu. Pretty good wine list, too. We had the bacon-wrapped dates and "fire bread" - the dates were delicious, but the fire bread was a little soggy. I've had the chicken curry burrito twice now - it's just perfect! The service is solid - we walked in without a reservation on a Wednesday night and were seated right away, and the waitress took great care of us all night. I've been here twice now - I will definitely go back, and I recommend it to people visiting from out of town! read more

I've been here twice, both times were for lunch. None of which were great. Ok, let's get the good out of the way first. The service here is good, and the food does not taste horrible. Note that not tasting horrible does not necessarily mean that it is good. Now, on to the not so great. Table Mesa? Seriously? I'm not sure if that name is just plain pretentious, or simply stupid. Apparently, their food is modern Latin (aka Latin fusion). I ordered the chimiVanga the first time. I have to say, it was the first chimichanga I've ever had where the crust was tough, instead of crunchy/crispy. I guess that must have been a fusion of Latin and cafeteria food? It did not taste bad, but the texture itself was disappointing, and unexpectedly bad. I had the green chile burger the second time I was here. This was definitely better than the chimivanga, but nothing mind-blowing. And, the chipotle mayo tasted like ketchup. It might be fusion, but it sure as hell wasn't as creative as most other types of fusion food. Beware if you order the queso, because it's sweet, and tastes like it has raspberry in it. Compared to other restaurants in the general area, even the long-standing ones serving traditional fare, this place is nothing special. IMO, the food is similar in quality to chains such as Applebee's and Chili's. read more

Poor when factoring in what they charge. Nothing outstanding here, but the Cheap Dates are worth mentioning. Been here 3 times in 2 years - meh every time. read more

While it's one of the only places to eat in Bentonville, the chicken curry burrito was so darn good! The creme brulee used some really gritty cane sugar and was an interesting dessert. I stopped in a second time during my visit to Bentonville and had the salad (with beets?) and it was good as well (as you can tell, not a whole lot of places to eat in the town!) Be sure to grab some Razorback buttermints on the way out :) read more

Overall, Table Mesa was a very good dining experience. My waiter was friendly and attentive, the ambiance was good, and it wasn't too loud. I had the Cheap Dates, which I definitely recommend - they're very rich and good for sharing; the Kale salad, which was fresh and filled with super-healthy stuff like beets, spinach, and avocado, as well as some super-tasty goat cheese; and the Dippin' Duo, which was acceptable but not as amazing as I was led to believe - the chips were great and the guac was tasty, but the queso dip with chorizo was a bit too thin and mild for my taste. For dessert, I had coffee (in a French press, how fancy) and some good (but not amazing) creme brulee. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for some good, unique food in a relatively relaxed environment. read more

ask for jordan, great restaurant, food was good. we ate here 2 nights in the a row as the food was good and so was the atmosphere don't let them try to sit you by the back bar near the bathrooms, ask for the main dining area and ask for jordan, he is a super waiter and full on bentonville knowledge. read more

Our family has made a habit of breakfast at Table Mesa each Sunday prior to leaving Bentonville; it WAS our favorite breakfast spot. They no longer offer Sunday breakfast ordered from a menu-they call their new concept "brunch;" it is better suited to be labeled "ALL YOU CAN EAT!" There is an all you can eat food bar and then the server will bring other items served family style-they are served "luke warm." It's a great place to load up on average food for 18.95 per person-They have sacrificed quality. The potatoes appeared to be left-over baked potatoes. This is not the Table Mesa with which we had become accustomed to visiting-therein lies the reason why business was down-word travels fast. This experience is dated 7/7/19. read more

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant and I miss it so much after leaving Bentonville. It has a cool vibe and has a nice location in the square. I used to enjoy a tasty Mexican meal and a pleasant stroll around downtown Bentonville read more

Good "Modern" Mexican. The poblano sauce on the enchiladas is weirdly white and really good and the rice was awesome.

I really enjoyed the chorizo burger! What a good combination of ingredients! ! Very friendly staff and great atmosphere!

Another work trip to NW Arkansas. At least they have started to get some restaurant options that are more than just chains. Table Mess has some interesting cocktails, and the sangria packs a punch! As for the food, the tapas is tastier and more interesting than the larger plate Mexican options. read more

Had dinner here with colleagues while in Bentonville on business a couple nights ago. Great atmosphere. Local but trendy at the same time. Interesting menu. I had the beef short rib enchiladas. A little rich as you'd expect which was great though. The flavor was a bit sweet almost like a sweet mole (but it wasn't mole). On my colleague's recommendation we had the queso appetizer. Not a run of the mill Velveeta type if thing. Nice chunky flavorful queso dip for the chips. Good indeed. I will come back when I have a chance to try other things in their menu. read more

Table Mesa - Right on the Bentonville main square just around the corner from the original Walton store. - Latin American Near Me - Bentonville, Arkansas

There were 11 of us and they made an exception and provided priority seating (thank you Emily). We were seated immediately upon arrival. Drinks were wonderful, I would suggest the sangria. Meal arrived very promptly for the amount of people in our party. I ordered an appetizer for an entrée...the blue water quesadillas. The hit of the night. We talked about coming back the next night for another meal, it was that good. read more

Met with an important client here the other night, this place was solid! The food was wonderful if not a bit eclectic; very very tasty. Our cocktails were a bit slow, but delicious (the bar was very busy). Service and hospitality was spot on! Kristina H. took care of us and her recommendations were wonderful...we will be back Kristina! read more

I wandered into Table Mesa after visiting Crystal Bridges. But I am here to rave about Table Mesa's black beans and rice. Yes, they came with crab enchiladas, but they were the stars of the meal, they were the most flavorful black beans ever. And the Mavericks Margarita was perfect. It was the best meal I had in the area. I would go back again. But since I live 6 hours away, I wish I had the recipe for their black beans. read more

Great restaurant in the Bentonville square. Very impressed and will be back on my next trip to NWA.

The food was awesome! We had the Cheap Dates for appetizer, Salmon on a bed of miso, and tres leche cake for dessert. This is our new date night place in Bentonville. read more

Sorry, not as impressed as Yelpers with this restaurant, although it was a pleasant enough experience. My dining partner and I tasted each others main dishes. I had a chile relleno made with crabmeat. It was different than anything I had ever tried, and definitely an adaptation of a tried and true recipe. It was a relatively small portion of food. I think the idea was interesting, but not very well executed. Perhaps the recipe was adapted for Southern tastes, but it was lacking in piquant seasoning, and sweet-tasting thanks to a pepper jelly condiment. My dining partner had the fajita mixta with beef, chicken and shrimp. Again, the piquant flavors we are accustomed to from our Colorado home base were, in our opinion, "dumbed down," and the carmelized vegetables seems overly sweet. I acknowledge that my criticism may be based on a lack of familiarity with the region's biases about flavor. The mojito my partner ordered was excellent. My margarita gets a B. The hostess was very welcoming and friendly, and our server was personable and helpful when asked for recommendations. The atmosphere was nice enough, but the towel dispenser in the men's room was out of order. What is it about public restrooms in the South? Something's always off--functionality, cleanliness, smells, aesthetics....? In this case, just functionality. Not dirty, not smelly. read more

This restaurant was just okay for me. I think that I need to just begin all of my reviews with the statement: "I am vegan," because I do realize that impacts how I feel about a place. The atmosphere is pretty casual, so you can arrive in whatever street clothes you have on, but you wouldn't stick out wearing a nicer outfit either. It is dark and loud (which doesn't bother me), but that might bother some people. There was also a distinct smell that turned me off. Not necessarily a bad smell, but it wasn't preferred... I stopped noticing it eventually. The service was pretty good overall. As far as the food goes- the chips and salsa were great. I know it seems like it should be easy to have good chips and salsa, but these chips were delicious! The menu is fairly limited as far as vegan options, and I wasn't feeling very adventurous so I just ordered their Mediterranean salad. It wasn't bad, but it was not great either. Mostly greens with the occasional piece of avocado/artichoke/cucumber. The dressing was decent. According to the person that I was with, the cheese enchiladas are really good! In the end, I would say it's worth going to (especially if you are non-vegan) because I think that some of the other options are probably really good. And those tortilla chips...! read more

I was very impressed. We went to Bentonville to see the art museum and yelped it to this place. It's by no means authentic Mexican food, but it's absolutely delicious. I had the squash enchiladas and my friends had the chorizo burger and the Hong Kong fajitas. It was all amazing and very reasonably priced ($10-$15). The servers were super knowledge and friendly and they all had big smiles on their faces. Whoever manages and/or owns this place is doing pretty much everything right. I would highly recommend it! read more

Great food and service. Didn't get 5 stars simply because of McCormick off the self salt and pepper shakers on the table.

If I was only rating this based on my meal I would give it a solid four stars. We had the dip duo. Outstanding. I had one fish taco, one Korean taco, black beans and rice. Very good. Ended with the Key Lime tres leche cake. Tasty, however not very key limey, but very tres lechey. The problem was my wife's meal. She chose the blackened sea bass fajitas. Poorly conceived and executed. Smelled fishy when it arrived and really went downhill from there. The word special was really done a disservice. Too bad Mesa Grill, if you can't get your specials right stick to what you know. read more

Tonight's special, carne asada was excellent and was a very generous portion! My server, Lauren was attentive and pleasant.

Excellent Sunday brunch. Chicken was very tender and tasted great. In facr, all the food was excellent and service was great too. If you're on your way back from Beaver or Bull Shoals I recommend the stop. read more

We've been here twice when we were in town in the past 10 months and both times the food was especially good and the service outstanding. The food changes periodically which is nice since it gives us a chance to try new dishes. If you haven't been here yet, put it on your must-do list. read more

So amazing every time I go there it is just out of this world I always order the Kiki burrito and it never disappoints the red sauce on top is awesome. The cheap dates are really good as well and if you go on Monday night the had the opportunity to eat the crab enchiladas. Will be going back there for sure read more

We went to get something light after a 10 mile mountain bike trail ride. We were greeted right away and shown our table despite coming during the "peak" time on a Sunday for lunch. Our server came over promptly and greeted us with two large bottles of lemon-cucumber infused water- very refreshing after our ride! I ordered the Southwestern omelet ($12) and my husband ordered the Carnitas Sandwhich ($11). My omelet was packed full of fresh, crisp veggies and steak and chicken and cheese. The egg itself was fluffy and was very tasty- but a little on the small side. The breakfast potatoes that accompanied the omelet were original- they had a sort of glaze of them- very good. My husbands sandwich was great. Loved the fries. Over all, good experience. The waitress lacked a little in personality, but no real complaints. The food hit the spot. I think my omelette should have been around $9.50 instead of $12 for the size. read more
