Unfortunately, the hours are wonky. And half of the time the order spiciness level does not come out as requested. Specifically, asking for something 'spicy level 4' and it comes '3' or vice/versa asking for 'spicy level 2' and it comes out of '4'. As this is a food truck, we don't know about it until we get all the way home; And we don't really feel like driving another 10 minutes to go back and have them correct it. Wouldn't normally be a deal breaker but for a family of 7, it tends to be a problem when half of our dinner is an edible for the kids.

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Table Mesa…read more We were surprised at how dead it was inside on a Wednesday for lunch, plenty of tables available. We got seated right away. We had nice and attentive service. I ordered the Santa Monica club, which is actually a wrap. But was delicious and was able to swap out my side of fries for the Esquites which were also good. My husband ordered the pork tacos with black beans and rice, also delicious. Very pleased with this choice. And it's in a lovely setting right on the town square.

The chips they give you before the meal are not crunchy or served with sauce. Instead they are soft and fluffy and served with seasoned refried black bean dip so good, I wanted to ask for more. The ingredients were so obviously cheap and bagged and that's okay, if you weren't charging so much for processed food. The flavor was there, but it was mostly oil and salt. Not a good combination. The person serving me was incredibly dismissive and clearly wanted me gone. The food truck was dirty, with trash outside on the ground and inside there were oil burn marks across their walls and stoves. Overall, not very happy, will not come again, and I won't recommend this to anyone. Next time, look at your own food before judging others!

The entrees made with ground beef weren't very good, so my recommendation would be to stick with fajita meat. Don't bother with the queso. We had our two puppies with us and we got to have them with us in the outdoor seating area. But the food. At least the lunch menu was nothing great. The queso was salty and very stringy, so it was a struggle. The chips weren't that great. My boys enjoyed their Huevos Rancheros plate but I got the Chilliquis (sp) and realized it was just more chips with not much toppings at all. And a sauce. Essentially paid $17 for chips and salsa. I did add steak, as did my son and the steak was very good. But spending $130 thinking we would have enjoyed fast food more was a bummer.
