This was our first time stopping in and trying out the Food Truck Park since moving back to town…read moreand we had to try the Venezuelan truck, Chamo's House. We got the Pabellón Arepa with Black Beans, Shredded Beef or Shredded Chicken, Plantain Strips, Cheese and Avocado. They knocked it outta the park. The bun was crispy, airy perfection and the flavors and texture of everything inside it was spot on. The 2 sauces that came with it took it over the top. 5/5 would recommend. Even the seating underneath the little covered patio was nice and comfortable. Will definitely be coming back. Oh, and we also tried the Venezuelan Chicha, a traditional drink made from rice with milk that is served with lots of ice and bathed in condensed milk and ground cinnamon. It's different, there's actual rice in the drink, but it didn't phase us. The taste was on point. Well done Chamo's.
