This Guatemalan fast food chain reminds me of Tex-Mex food. Mostly because of its American side dishes. The restaurant. Is clean and the employees are very friendly. I enjoy coming here from time-to-time. But not as often as I would like and that's only because of the high prices. A few days ago I bought a "six piece chicken nugget" with no sides or drink. First location I've seen in a Walmart but it was a nice surprise. Limited seating though. Service was ok, they kept taking in Spanish to each other giggling to each other instead of focusing on the customers, I needed to repeat my order several times. Took about 10 minutes for the food to come out, they called the numbers in Spanish and rolled their eyes when you asked them if it was yours. Chicken sandwich was boring, only a dry bun with pickles? Where is mayo or something? Fries were lukewarm and limp. Chicken pieces were yummy as usual. They are advertising in store the reward program but don't scan your QR code or give you the receipt to manually enter the code. read more

Have tried this twice in the past month...once for fried chicken and once for sandwiches. The chicken was very good, not greasy. Sandwiches were also very tasty, the seasoning on the spicy sandwich was especially good and the pickles added to the unique flavor. We'll be back! read more

While working briefly in Rogers, Ar I got a chance to eat at this restaurant and the food was amazing. I've never ate at this food chain before there was a long wait, but it was worth it for the good food. It was very clean and well put together in the inside. Worst service. Lack of leadership. No concept of customer service. 45 minutes standing to order.

Though I'm sure the restaurant might be fine, I issue is centered around the disrespectful young teen children associated with the management and staff of the restaurant. Recently, three obnoxious teens near knocked a senior lady using a walker down while she was walking just outside the restaurant. Not one but three times, this lady had to avoid these three kids. After approaching the kids and nicely explaining to them that a slip and fall could be a big deal for senior, I get two teen boys who knew they were wrong. A young teen lady with nothing but attitude and a father who wanted to support the kids as opposed to handling what could have been a bad situation. read more

When I moved to Rogers, I was so happy. So much variety on fast food fried chicken. Coming from LR, my choices are limited to KFC, Churchs, and Popeyes. So, when I went to Walmart, to my surprise, there it was. This was the not my first tango Pollo Campero. The first time was in downtown Disney world so my perception was quite different. It was the probably the cheapest place there. Unfortunately, I am now in Rogers, AR where everything is relatively cheap. Pollo Campero is not so cheap now. I suppose they can justify charging that much because that is the only kind of fast food fried chicken with that kind of flavor. I would say, it is a delicious chicken. I could not compare it to the typical US chicken. This is something different. The hint of lime with less breading accent its flavors. Also, there us some spice. It is an experience just have something different. But, do not get the grilled version. I think the lime is so strong that it is just sour chicken. It is just not that good. If you want a grilled chicken, just get it from walmart. It is way better. My only complain is that their chickens are so small. Why are they so small? Are the chicken malnaurished? Is it even a chicken? For all I know, it could be pigeon or something, but I would say that it is chicken since it taste like one. Could it be that these chicken are hormone free? I could not tell from the taste though. It tastes like chicken. And, that is the downfall of Pollo Campero. The chickens are small for the price. It is really a good fried chicken. I would probably get this when I want to treat myself, but because of the price, I would not get this often. So, it is worth to try especially when you are starting to get tired of KFC, Churches, or Popeyes. read more

I ordered mine from door dash. It came still super hot and I was not disappointed. The beans were delicious as well as the chicken of course and the plantains. If you order a to go order ask for extra tortillas. I made little tacos with the chicken beans and plantains. The little sweetness with the spicy was delicious. Their fried chicken is the bomb! I prefer this than kfc, harps or popeyes. It is juicy and flavorful. I order to go and eat it with white rice. I had tried other types of chicken here but fried is the best. They also sell empanadas and other kinds of mexican desert and drinks. This is inside walmart shopping center. When you enter walmart, it's on your right. It's past the eye center. It's fast food. Order and pay at the counter. They give you receipt with number. Grab a seat and wait to be called. Tried this place for the first time today. I was in the Rogers area and heard a lot about their chicken. I love chicken so decided to look for it. I did not realize it was in the Walmart store. So I drove around then finally ventured in. It's a little inconvenient for me that way but as long as it is as good as everyone says. I hadn't had breakfast yet but I took my insulin so I was thankful they were open at 9. My appointment finished at 10 and all other chicken places open 10:30 or 11. I ordered the 4 piece with two sides and a large drink. After I ordered fries and cole slaw I remembered everyone mentioning the delicious corn salad so I requested it as another side. The sides were very generous! Chicken was crispy and juicy. It had a spice I was not used to but it was easy to get to like. The corn salad was flavorful with cilantro, beans (soy or Lima?), tomatoes and greens. I enjoyed my experience but it's a little awkward for me to get to due to my disability. I didn't expect to fight the Walmart frenzy. Lol read more

This place is delicious! This is Central American food and even though I'm Mexican geez I love this food. They have tasty sides including plantains, my fave! Their chicken is nice and warm and juicy.. It is conveniently located inside the Walmart super center in Rogers on Walnut. Great for carry out as well! read more
