I came here last night with Co workers as we were told this was the place to visit in downtown Bentonville. Inhave to tell you they were right! I was captivated at the entrance and it just got better as I went inside. The decor here is very inviting and fresh. It strikes me as very trendy but comfortable. The service we got was just as great and started as soon as we entered. Our server was very attentive and took excellent care of our table of 5. The host who greeted us was also friendly. Of course I have to talk the food. WOAH!!! We started with a consortium of appetizers and all were rather delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We had a chicken Flatbread, ceviche and cheap dates. The entrees all looked fabulous as they came out. I had a an order of carnitas and was among the best I've had anywhere in my travels. Only went once, might go again but just for coffee, which was good. Don't go if you have food allergies. My nephew enjoyed his eggs Benedict but eggs were over cooked to the order for everyone. They got my order wrong and added an ingredient I am allergic to, and I could tell they realized it before bringing the plate out and instead of making a new dish, they removed the item from the plate and still served me the plate which was contaminated with the allergen and I didn't know until I took a bite and discovered. Had breakfast here out of their coffee shop/grocery store and it was amazing! I had the iced dulce de leche latte and it was fantastic, and the maple donut was fresh and everything a donut should be. I was a bit confused when I sat down and looked at the menu. I wouldn't really classify this place as a Tapas Bar. There was not a big enough selection of 'tapas' type small dishes to even qualify. No variety, and no offering for small plating. Nonetheless - there was one high-point to the visit - which mostly centered around the 'cheap dates' which were darn good. Never though stuffed medjool dates were good, but then when you wrap it in bacon - you kind of have an easy win right there. Perfect paring of flavors. This dish gets 5 stars! For my main - i got the Pollo Poblano. The flavor was not what i was expecting. I wanted to get a mildly spicy creamy sauce, that had hints of green along with some poblano flavor. Instead, I essentially got a Mexican Alfredo, with some slices of Poblano for naming identity. Mexican dishes are typically colorful, vibrant with interesting textures and flavors - instead, the flavor was a one dimensional, color was flat and boring, and the texture was mushy. Would I come back - ehhh, maybe yeah i would - it is after all one of the 'nicer' restaurants in Bentonville anyways. read more

We came here for dinner with a small group of friends (table for 6). Immediately seated and good social distancing practices in place. The wait staff was friendly. Portions are smaller than other restaurants in the area but not bad (makes it feel a little overpriced though, but we considered this to be our "nice" meal out). Drink prices on the other hand felt too elevated. I did enjoy the strawberry-basil infused margarita. The chicken tortilla soup is a great appetizer to try during those colder months. Everything we ordered was delicious; many of us kept noting, however, that we wish there was a little more for the $ or we had better guidance from the server. (example: the bacon wrapped date appetizer came with 4 dates. We had ordered that to share with the table for 6 people.) This is a nice place to come for a date night or celebration dinner when you want to dress it up a little more, just don't come after your 20 mile bike ride starving or prepare to dish out a nice sum of cash to fill your appetite. read more

Was in town for work and checked out Walton's Museum and downtown Bentonville. This place seemed like a nice casual place for dinner so I stopped by. I walked in and was immediately greeted by their hostess. She walked me to the bar side since I was a table of 1. (Yep, I was lonely during my trip) As We we're walking there, I noticed around and it was a nice dark ambiance with dim yellow light all around. Mostly adults here - probably wanted a bite after work, like me. As I said, nice casual place :) I sat down and browsed the menu for around 10 minutes until a waitress came by. After asking around some menu items I ended getting the Slow Roasted Chipotle Brisket. I was feeling Mexican and beef that night. I waited for around 15 minutes and my food came. I was so excited even though the wraps looked pretty small. I mixed the beans and rice with the tortilla and mushed and gushed everything. I'm not going to lie, the food was pretty average tasting. Nothing special or "amazing". The rice and beans had little flavor and the tortillas were a bit dry. Nonetheless, the service was excellent and the inside was cool and cozy. That's why I'm not giving a 3 star. Oh and towards the end of my meal, a lady came in and sat next to me. Turns out she was alone as well and was visiting for work. We ended up chatting for a while. First off, I was very satisfied. But to clear some misconceptions, it is not a tapas bar. Their appetizers I guess could be considered tapas but they mostly have regular entrees on the menu. Better Mexican food than I expected in NW Arkansas. Almost prototypical Tex-Mex menu offerings, but with a slight twist to the recipes that is a little closer to Mexican style They serve black beans with queso fresco not refried beans, which I think is much better. Also not Tex-Mex, they serve Latin yellow rice, very tasty (could use more garlic, but that's just me). Entrees were delicious with very reasonable portion sizes. They had typical entree options, but their recipes were less Tex-Mex and closer to Mexican (mild mole salsa on their enchiladas instead of queso). Good selection of margaritas with some unique flavors if you wanted to try something new. read more

I'm not gonna lie, I thought I was going to need to be rolled out of there following the amount of food I stuffed in. First off, they have a spicy margarita that is an absolute delight so I recommend asking for one! We also indulged in the Dipping Duo for the table. I would have never though about putting a dollop of pepper jelly in the queso, but it was a sweet surprise with an already scrumptious appetizer. For the main event, I went with the Chicken Verde tacos but it was quite the dilemma even making that decision. The menu has quite the selection that is both difficult and exciting...I was on the fence about so many dishes. Anywho, the tacos were flavorful and the meet was moist! The worst brunch experience! We were in town visiting friends. We came here for brunch on a Sunday. Service was okay. Definitely slow response time for ordering more items for the "unlimited". There was an entire egg worth of egg shell in the folded eggs. The worst of it was the manager's response when this was brought to his attention. No apology was made, just excuses. "Your order was the bottom of the prepped batch so the accidental shells fell to the bottom of the container". Not an apology, just an excuse! No order discount. Did not even appear to be concerned for our 1 year old that could have very easily ended up with these shells in his mouth. We will not be returning! read more
