I just had lunch there today and it was awesome! Table 32 is located inside the Virginia Square apartment building. The outside is very modern. Inside, you walk up a few stairs to open the door to the restaurant. The restaurant is still modern but has a cozy, rustic, modern feel to it. Upon our arrival, a hostess asked if we (two friends and I) preferred a booth or table. They also have an outdoor patio but I don't think she mentioned it. We opted for a table, and were given a Lunch Menu as well as two drink menus. Once we sat, we were promptly greeted by our server. I believe her name was Jessie. She brought glasses of water for each of us and announced the special drink which I believe was a pineapple margarita. I kept it simple with an angus burger with cheese, french fries, and an iced tea. I asked for honey mustard but they don't have it, so I asked for ketchup with my meal instead. The service was quick and my server even asked the kitchen to whip me up a side of honey mustard using, you guessed it- honey and mustard. That was kind of them to do. Jessie was prompt about making sure our drinks stayed full during our meal as well. Once we were finished with our meals, our server took our plates and offered us dessert. I did use the restroom once before we left... they did not skimp on the details, even in the bathrooms! They were very nice, clean, and smelled pleasant. There was a very large body mirror and a large window that was 'foggy' so it let in a lot of natural light but maintained privacy. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back! Another example of a great new restaurant! This place would fit right in somewhere in the NY Hudson river valley! I had the pork chop, normally I'm hesitant to order it since it's so easy to come out dry as a bone. Not from this place! Tender, and juicy! The sides were great too, and the waitstaff were super friendly! Very crisp, trendy decor, but still a relaxed atmosphere. This is an upscale restaurant on the south end of downtown Sioux City. The dishes are a cut above, with my wife enjoying duck, while I had a poke bowl. My tuna was fresh and delicious! Cocktails, wine by the glass or bottle, and beers are also available. The dessert we shared was a cashew crumble, warm with vanilla ice cream on top. Yum! read more

The drinks were amazing, and the food was just as good! We started with the lobster bisque, but that wasn't so great. I had the tenderloin with that bourbon cherry sauce and it was soo good! Wish it had more of the sauce! My fiance had the chicken in waffle, which was different with the bell peppers, but it was still good! My sister did the Mediterranean pasta. She really enjoyed it, but I didn't try it. We will definitely be going back to try other things next time we are in town! read more

Amazing food, friendly waiters, nice decorations with a ritzy feeling. Wait times are a bit of a pain, but what's not to like? Had the fillet mingion with Koren BBQ topping and flare. Absolutely to die for delicious. Nicely seasoned cauliflower and bomb AF mashed potatoes. Stop by atleast once so you could say that you've tried it. Underwhelmed. I was expecting a sizzling prime cut of meat with soaked in garlic butter seafood topper and I got an overdone steak and a dry cold crab leg. I asked for melted butter to enhance my portion and I got a plastic cup of refrigerated margarine. My husband had his steak soaked with onions and mushrooms and he got rubbery noodles with microwaved mushrooms. He subbed his side for a loaded baked potato, we both envisioned a hot tater with all the loaded fixings piled on to and melted. He got a tater with 3 plastic cups of butter, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese out of a bag, and some bacon bits. We also had the charcuterie board which was fine except ritz crackers? For the price we expected more. Wouldn't suggest going here unless you have a 2 star tastebud on a 5 star budget. Not worth your time. read more

Dined here with a date and we greatly enjoyed our experience. The decor and light fixtures draw attention to the modern style of the restaurant and establish a warm atmosphere. I ordered the chicken and waffles sans the gravy and was impressed with the tasty dish. The layering of the rich syrup, savory corn bread waffle with jalapeños and bell peppers, bacon, and crispy chicken made for a perfect meal. Our server was fantastic offering timely service and a friendly smiler. I recommend dining at Table 32 to anyone looking for a delicious meal or nice date. read more

This is my second visit to Table 32. On the two occasions, I had the tuna poke, lamb chops and osso buco, which were wonderful, and the 16 oz blue cheese topped ribeye was OK-a bit fatty. What really rubbed me the wrong way was that when I asked for bread, the waiter advised me that it would be $1 for 2 pieces of bread. For some reason, this offended me. If the restaurant is that hard up that they have to ask a customer for $1 for 2 pieces of bread, why not add a dollar or two to your entree prices and throw in the bread. It just seemed like poor form to charge extra for bread. I enjoy the opportunity for fine dining, but I'll likely not return here. read more

Food was beyond excellent. The seared duck was the best tasting duck I have ever had. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that they brought our main course out prior to the appetizer and soup we had ordered. That can partially be blamed on us for ordering it all basically at the same time. Again the duck was beyond amazing so I highly recommend. Last thing the lemonade is lacking. It taste very watered down. The food easily made up for the slight missteps. read more

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I came for lunch on a Saturday with 5 friends, and we all loved our uniquely delicious meals/small plates. The Bang, Bang Shrimp was lightly breaded and had the perfect amount of sweet and spicy! Omg!! The Lobster Bisque was out of this world...we wished we got the bowl instead of the cup! We had Bloody Mary's that were made with homemade mix, bacon infused vodka, and bacon salt. Yummy! We were full, but still ordered the Lamb Shanks out of curiosity. As expected, it was perfectly cooked and seasoned and topped with a sweet sauce. The lamb fell off the bone. Lastly, our server, Mikey, couldn't have given us better service and the manager stopped by to check on us. This was a perfect visit. Try it out folks!! read more

Went here Monday for late lunch. My husband wanted the walleye dinner, but that is not available until 4 pm and it was only almost 2 pm. We both settled on the clobster roll and subbed in some lobster bisque soup instead of fries. The soup was very tasty but only barely warm. The lobster roll had a nice toasted bread but it was so full of butter I guess that it was just mush. The lobster and crab itself had nothing on it that we could taste, a touch of lemon and/or some sauce would have gone a long way. They say that the roll also has caviar, but there is so little you wouldn't notice if it was gone. For the price I guess i expected a little more - it was good but could be so much better! read more

My wife, daughter, and I went in to Table 32 early this evening for dinner and the reviews were a bit mixed. Pros: The decor is really attractive and it's a very relaxing environment for eating a meal. We went very early before most people were heading out so the location was very quiet. Waitress was very nice and attentive and was able to get answers to any questions we had about the menu. The cocktails were extremely good. Happy hour prices had us drinking Old Fashioneds with their house bourbon and they really hit the spot even with it being house liquor. The calamari were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. I ate the Pork medallions and it was a great dish. All the flavors went together really well and the pork was cooked perfectly. Serving size was larger than you would find at most restaurants in that price point. Cons: The wife had the seafood noodle bowl which had a Thai style flavor spectrum to it, but the flavorings were not very deep and salt highly overpowered the dish. We finished with the creme brulee and this was one of the low points...too bad it happened at the end of the meal. It seriously resembled a vanilla pudding cup snack squeezed into a ramekin with half caramelized sugar on top. The particular dessert really could use some work. I'm not cheap, but when we drop $100 on a dinner I'd rather not swing and miss on two of the ordered items. Overall I would suggest others check the place out. The cocktails are top notch and I'm sure other menu items are worthy of the trip. read more

The staff and service are on point, but be sure to call ahead for a reservation, especially during peak hours. The decorum and atmosphere are fun. I have been here 3 times and have enjoyed the attentive and competent wait staff. The cocktails: Dirty Missouri, 32 Martini, 32 Fashioned, and Apple Crumble; all great! The food can be hit or miss. The Bang Bang shrimp and Calamari are delicious (I've had bad calamari before, but it is pretty hard to mess up). The Osso Bucco was pretty, but disappointingly chewy. The 32 steak sandwich was okay, but nothing mind-blowing (I had been previously advised not to bother with the steak). The Chicken Roulade, Seared Duck Breast and Fennel Dusted Scallops are all excellent. The portions seem modest for the price, but the quality is there and if I wanted volume over quality, there is always Pizza Ranch. If you are looking for great cocktails and a fun atmosphere, this is your place! read more

I was taken here for a business lunch last month and then for dinner this month. Service was good. Food was hit and miss. The lobster bisque soup was delicious, but the portion was minuscule. I ordered the "32" open steak sandwich, medium rare. It was really undercooked (when I stuck my fork in it, I expected it to moo!). The "cannoli" was whipped cream and coconut in a cannoli shell - not a hint of ricotta in it. The only saving grace for dinner was the tiny portion of lobster bisque soup. Given all the hype surrounding this restaurant, I expected better. The only reason I went back for dinner is that the person I went with, had not been there before and really wanted to try it. One of the best in Sioux City. The chef makes an effort to have out of the ordinary dishes. Monday wine deal is hard to beat.

We have been there twice and the food was excellent both times. The atmosphere is really nice, the staff was friendly. The menu is a little different. I had filet both times and it melts in your mouth. Will go back. read more
