We took a table in the back of the restaurant. Simple table with black cloth napkins. No candle , no flower, just a small salt and pepper set with a few menus. The menu offers a variety from expensive seafood and steaks to sandwiches. I chose the seafood Mac and cheese. My husband had the pork chop with sweet potatoes and a side of grilled cauliflower. The other couple ordered Mediterranean pasta with shrimp instead of chicken which came with a slice of focaccia bread. His wife had the chicken margherita sandwich which came with sweet potato waffle fries. My husband said the pork chop was dry and overcooked. My seafood pasta was served warm. It looked like it sat under the heat lamp while other food was prepared. Oddly enough, my meal did not come with any bread. But the other pasta dish had focaccia bread and even the kids meal that had mac & cheese had a big chunk of bread as well. Was it an oversight? Also missing from my dish was the Panko crumbs that were to top the dish. None to be found! My pasta had really great flavor. A complaint is that every third bite I was pulling a shell out of my mouth. It's good to know that the seafood is fresh, but I should not have to bite around the shell of the seafood. Also, because it was served warm, it made it less than enjoyable. The Mediterranean pasta I was told was delicious and it looked so. A lot of sauce as well. The chicken sandwich was quite large. Although it was tough and not tasty. It came with a side of sweet potato fries, which came out after we started our meal. It was forgotten the first time around. Overall, I would give the ambience an eight. Service was good and it deserves a seven. The food however, which I think is very important when you go to dinner, would get a solid five. I think the flavor was good, but again, because the food was served cold, and the pork chop was overcooked. I would most definitely take points off. read more

Very cool place we discovered close to our hotel. The winner of the night was the pasta with chicken, mushrooms, and balsamic cream sauce. The Korean BBQ steak had a terrific flavor but was quite gristly. We sat at the bar and received except service. The bartender was attentive but also sensitive when we were in deep conversation. Four of us split the cheesesteak eggrolls. They tasted homemade and were very meaty with high quality meat. Served warm, they were delicious. I got a cup of the lobster bisque and the special which was a beast burger. The lobster bisque soup was rich and creamy and not over powered by sherry which is a common mistake. The Good: Lobster Bisque and Jambalaya. I mean we are not talking Louisiana Jambalaya...but it was a very good take. The Bad: Calamari. There was more fried zucchini and squash than calamari. The shoe string veggies add nothing as you only taste is the over-salted/seasoned fry batter The Ugly: service. The fact that I sat there waiting for my main course for over 30 minutes from my soup is not acceptable...ESPECIALLY when the person behind the bar was wondering what I was still doing there near close only having an iced tea in front of me. My waitress realized she didn't put in my order. Then, I was told it would be right out.....10 minutes later I had to ask again. But that's not really stewed me. The 2 staff apologized only after they realized that I knew they forgot to put in my order. And to top it off....there was NO "let me see what we can do about the bill." The 32 Paradise Martini is excellent - I had two. Service by Mikey was also excellent. Order the Farmhouse Wedge Salad (half portion) and it can easily be shared by two as a dinner salad. It was very tasty and well prepared. The entrees were okay. If they had been adequately prepared they would have been very good. My husband had the Poke Bowl and really liked the flavors. But the tuna was very fatty and some of it was just too hard to chew. He had to discard 1/3 - 1/2 of the tuna. He also said there was too much sauce. Don't order the Seafood Mac and Cheese. An occasional glimmer of cheese but it was really seafood cream sauce, pasta and a little seafood. It was hard to find the seafood, with the exception of the shrimp. They gave a us a Salted Caramel Creme Brulee to make up for the entrees and the dessert was excellent. I would come back for the Martini, salad and dessert but not the entrees. read more

I went to table 32 on a recommendation from a local here in Sioux City and so glad I listened! I started off the evening with a pickle martini and it is the right blend of everything I was hoping for! It's not too much pickle taste it's just a light flavoring Nice and cold, salted rim, & vodka- I ordered the table 32 wedge salad, which if you don't get anything else on the menu, you must try this wedge. It has bacon. It has blue cheese. It has corn. It has Onions! It has their own unbelievably amazing dressing to top it off. The second thing I had was their bang bang shrimp, which was so fresh and so amazing, it is lightly fried wrapped with bacon and they're dipping sauce. I don't know what it is, but it is such a wonderful combination of different flavors. Five stars!! the actual decor in the restaurant is top-notch, I sat at the bar at both. The bartender were friendly, accommodating, and efficient. I love how the bar is stocked, and they have a shelf surrounding the bar where they stocked their extra bottles with a rolling ladder to get to the bottles at the top. The food was good! Calamari was not too great, but smelled fresh. I also like the ambiance and the TVs. Unfortunately the service was less than steller. We sat at the bar and there were 2 other couples. All of us looked unhappy lol. The bartender/server/table setter/hostess was not able to balance her attention between us and her other responsibilities. When we finally get ordered, we had questions about the menu. Instead of answering them since it was 2 of our first times- She said she can come back and give us more time ... whaaa.. then I said "if you have other things to do, we can wait".. then she said "yes I have to go set those tables. NO ONE was sitting at tables ... food did come out fast though since it was empty on Saturday during dinner. So I typically don't want to write negative reviews, there's enough people to do that. Only I've eaten at table 32 twice and I've been underwhelmed, especially for the money. Whether you spend $20 or $200, have you ever felt like you just didn't get your moneys worth? That's how I feel here the two times I've been there. I get that they use fancy names of ingredients and a beautiful interior but after all that I just want a good meal and I'm willing to pay extra for it. This is where table 32 fall's short. I don't know if I gave it a fair star rating, obviously there's a staff that works very hard to create these meals, and I don't want to take away from their efforts. Only someone in charge of the menu, the ingredients, and the outcome should be held a little bit responsible. remember, I've only had two experiences here so obviously I might be missing some spectacular meals that I have not tried. I encourage you to always take a review with a grain of salt, only with table 32 you might want to use a few more grains of salt lol that was a little salty. I couldn't miss the damn puns. read more

Probably the most overrated restaurant in Sioux City. Tonight we were able to get a reservation and waited 10 min to be seated with no hostess. We then ordered an appetizer and drinks. The drinks arrived and the appetizer arrived 30 min later cold but it was tasty rubbery shrimp. The filet was ordered medium and was dry and overcooked, and burnt on one end. I think they measured the steak in grams rather than ounces because it was half the size of a hockey puck. The side of asparagus was four golfing pencils. We saw the waitress twice and she disappeared for the evening. Wish I could say something nice or nothing at all. At least the Lions/Commanders game was on and they had heat and running water. read more

This was our first time at Table 32--a neighbor had recommended it to us and we were quite eager to give it a try! Luckily we were able to snag a 7:45pm reservation. The place was still packed! The decor was very nice, the staff were wonderful, and I loved the energy of the place. Everyone around us seemed to be enjoying both their time and their food. Our server--I forget his name, I only remember it is NOT Sebastian because that's what I thought he said initially--was fantastic (albeit a bit scatterbrained). He tried to answer any questions we had to the best of his knowledge or promptly searched until he found an answer. If the food hadn't been so mediocre and underwhelming (minus the duck...the duck was vomit-worthy), we'd definitely come back and request him as our server. We started off with the Black n Blue Chislic (aka steak bites). Our server let us know those are flash fried. The horseradish sauce was a nice compliment to the otherwise over-fried, dried pieces of meat. This was the first disappointment for me, because there used to be a place down near the casinos in Council Bluffs that had perfect ones, but I've yet to find elsewhere that can do it just right. For our main entrees, my boyfriend went with chicken and waffles--his first ever!!!--and I eagerly picked the seared duck breast. The chicken and waffles were great! I love it when places have both the gravy and syrup. This one had an amazing bourbon bacon caramel syrup, which my boyfriend thought was TOO sweet but I thought it was fantastic! Sadly, my seared duck breast couldn't live up to its name nor menu description. The menu doesn't mention in it anywhere that the duck is first brutally drowned in star anise liquids and then left to soak in even more star anise liquids; however, I could taste it right away. I tried to stomach as much as I could but gave up after the third bite. My boyfriend also agreed it was quite unappetizing in flavor. So, foodies (especially ones more familiar with Asian cuisine), beware the duck and go for the other bird option! I decided to give the balsamic mushroom chicken dish a try instead. Surely, you can't mess up pasta, right? WRONG...Sort of. The cavatappi was cooked to al dente and the jist of the dish was quite pleasing. If only their cream hadn't soured and tainted the otherwise wonderful flavor of the mushroom cream sauce. Dessert was a 30-70 split. My boyfriend ordered a lemon cake that was extremely dry. It was so dry, in fact, he ate 60% of it! When I asked him why he did that versus trying to take it home and steaming it with some warm milk, he said "it wasn't worth boxing up but I didn't want to waste it"! My salted caramel creme brûlée was probably the only thing that didn't induce stomach acrobatics for me. The salted caramel was a very nice touch. The flavor and custard texture was all there. They were SO. CLOSE... and then they skimped on one of THE most important parts--adequately torching the sugar. If you look super close at my picture, I did try to crack it, but it just kinda...meh. TLDR - Sure, bring your cousins from Arkansas here. Just don't bring your boss, your mother-in-law, or anyone else you actually want to impress (unless they grew up without tastebuds). read more

Food was great! Hubby had the Grilled Pork Chop which was perfectly seasoned. He also raved about the mashed sweet potatoes and roasted cauliflower. I had the Coconut Shrimp salad which was the perfect blend of sweet and crunch. But the best part was the Creme Brulee. I love the satisfying crack of the spoon hitting the caramelized sugar and then the taste mmmm good. Our server, Michael, was also good; attentive without hovering. I was given intel that the food usually doesn't take that long to be served, so maybe I got the short end of the stick that night. The food was 100% worth the wait. I really expected more from this restaurant, the decor is inviting and hip and the menu seems interesting even if it's expensive but I felt let down after my experience. Now, we did have a large group, but the service was very slow even for our drinks, and when the food finally came, there were mixed responses from everyone. I will only speak for my food, drink, and dessert, however. I ordered a traditional mule and was underwhelmed, the flavors just weren't balanced as I prefer but that may have been because I am used to fruit flavored ones and they only offer traditional, jameson and lavender. I had the chili salmon with avocado salsa and risotto as my meal. The salmon was amazing, seasoned well, and perfectly flaky, but that's all that I enjoyed. The avocado salsa didn't add much to the plate and was overpowered with tomato flavor, so I couldn't appreciate the avocado flavor. It might as well have been a regular tomato salsa. I was most disappointed by the risotto. It was more like a lumpy mashed potato in terms of texture, sticky, and gummy, not creamy at all. The flavor was nice, but I couldn't get over the texture, so I only had a few bites of it. I had the creme brulee for dessert, and it was perfect, so at least my meal ended well. I am not sure I would visit again when weighing the price with my experience. If the experience is good, I am happy to pay, but if I pay a high price tag and my experience is bad or underwhelming, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth, so I can't give them my business again. read more

Their service is amazing because they make sure you get your food as fast as possible. My favorite dish there is the seafood Mac and cheese it has a perfect mix of different things of seafood and it's so good, and don't even get me started on the desserts that they have they are so good. Folks at my hotel raced about this place, so I came. My starters got me going, but with my entree we went downhill real fast! I was torn between the chicken Wellington and lamb, but made the mistake of going with the Wellington. It was no Wellington. Stick to the original and make it well or leave it alone. The pastry was so paper thin, I could see the mushrooms through it. The chicken breast was cut into irregular pieces an stacked, no bacon/prosciutto. It's also sat in a puddle of... gravy??? There's a reason this is made with tenderloin, if you decide to reimagine it, at least make it well. Flavor wise, it was ok, but it was a disappointment in general. Also, why is is served with a plain baked potato??? The side of asparagus was over cooked. Entree 1/10, and only because it was edible. The only reason this isn't a 1 star review is because my lemon drop and chicken sliders starter were good. If you can't make a British classic, take it off your menu! If you're looking for a more high-end dinner, this place will not disappoint. The building itself attracts attention, but the food will leave you with a food coma. I was craving a pepper-y dish and the jumbo shrimp entrée surely delivered. Old bay seasoned shrimp -- simple, but perfectly compliments the tomato 'shroom risotto. Both components are tasty alone, but put them together and you get a returning customer. I, myself, tend to overcook or undercook my asparagus, but they nailed it here. To top off my 10 lb gain, I decided to tackle the brown butter cashew cobbler. So crunch, warm, and delish! My personal favorite were the lamb meatballs, and my husband's favorite was the crab cakes. The food was well-seasoned and portioned well. We opted to order a bunch of small plates and the house salad so that we could try more menu items, and it did not disappoint. I have never been until today (1/10/19) and I was NOT disappointed! I went during lunch and got the soup/salad/bread lunch. It was only $8! I got the lobster bisque. I'm going to DREAM about that bisque. The salad was made with arugula and had shaved carrots, onion slices (I promptly removed those...onions are evil), cucumbers, sliced tomatoes, and your choice of dressing. I picked ranch today but if I ever have it again I want to try the house Italian. Beautiful decor and they played great music. The bathrooms were pristine. Not crazy large but that's not a problem. They have a fantastic wine list and a huge bar that just looks cool. Tables, booths, high-tables, and small party rooms make up the seating situations. The lunch menu had so many options that I wanted to try. I'd love to go back very soon. Only thing I didn't like is that you have to go up steps to enter the restaurant. I can't climb steps well due to constantly swollen legs...and if you were in a wheelchair I have no idea how you'd get in. Called ahead (at 6 pm) to see if we needed a reservation. Was told that we could just come over (from the hotel next door) and when we did the front desk had problems seating the table ahead of us. So, my party of 3 sat at the bar. Once at the bar, we were quickly served drinks from the friendly bartender and promptly received our drinks. They were delicious! Then we waited and waited and waited to order food. After 45 minutes of watching the only bartender fill every order from every waitress serving tables we thought it was time to go somewhere else. The guy next to us waited @ 20 minutes just to get a draft beer. Sigh. Decided to have dinner elsewhere. This place needs to give more help to the bar staff. Between one person waiting on tables near the bar and serving all the waitress table orders, we knew we didn't have a chance of eating for at least an hour.
