When my boyfriend surprised me with a Queen's Feast date night, I was a little skeptical that we were going somewhere I had never even heard of. However, every single bite of the meal was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Angie never let us want for anything the entire evening. I started with the pear martini which tasted so fresh even though it was a little sweet for my tastes. For appetizers we had the brussel sprout salad and nashville hot oysters. The oysters were amazing and I am not even a huge oyster fan, but they were perfectly fried and had a delicious sauce. Since we were getting a fried app, I opted for the salad because I felt like I should, but it was honestly one of the best salads I have ever tasted. It had brussel sprouts, arugula, manchego cheese, dried blueberries, almonds, and a lemon vinaigrette and everything just worked so well together. My boyfriend joked that he hoped the rest of the meal lived up to the salad. Spoiler alert: it did. My filet was perfectly cooked as was my boyfriend's medium rare prime rib. The garlic mashed potatoes were awesome as well. I love that they serve the horseradish sauce with the steaks. I also opted to add on the crab cake, which was very good! We also ordered a bottle of wine that they had on tap, which made it a very good price! We were pretty full by the time the desserts arrived, but we enjoyed the tres leches cake and ice cream sandwich anyway. Ordered two medium rare prime ribs and one medium prime rib. All three came out together and were all cooled to the same temperature, medium. Called the waitress and explained that we ordered two medium rare. She said they were cooked to medium rare and I pointed at the medium steak and asked what that was cooked to, she responded, that was cooled to medium. The chef came out and tried to tell us it was the tint on the windows that makes it look medium. There was zero pink inside the steak. Needless to say we didn't eat and won't be back. We have been twice because it is close to the hotel we stay for work. Service is a mixed bag. On our more recent visit, the server was nice and sympathetic when issues arose but didn't know the menu. There was no one to refill water glasses. Menu feels outdated in a tired rather than nostalgic way. Food is okay, and I am sure the kitchen staff is trying, but execution just isn't quite there, even on basic dishes like trout or prime rib. In any event, quality of the food would need to be much better to make up for the pretentiousness of the hostess. Both times, our presence was clearly an imposition, but that's cool. We take the hint and will not impose again. If you are looking for dinner in that area, check out the kebab place, which is much more hospitable. read more

This is the 3rd time that I have been here and have always sat at the bar in a high top and we normally get a younger waiter who is so good and attentive, he makes sure that our dinner/drinks etc are taken care of and well explained. And the service has only gotten better since the opened.(Sorry wish I was good with names). The portions are good for what you are paying, but the lighting is always really dark and with the glare from the menus, it can be tough to read. Everyone is very friendly from the front hostess to the busboys. It's also tough to get a steak medium rare around here and they seem to know how to get that done, if you don't like the side item that comes with the dinner you can substitute which is plus. read more

Right on the cusp of being a really good restaurant for the under fine dining level, think 131 Main or Houston's type. They need to polish up a few things but has a great future. Went there 2x in last week, finding dinner for teenage son is tough but he really liked their grilled chicken sandwich, esp the second time with added bacon. They only have it on the lunch menu, not dinner, so when I asked for it they first said it was on the dinner menu, then said they would have to ask, and then handed me the dinner menu 2x when I asked for the lunch menu so I could show the server what we wanted. First time I was there ordered the ahi tuna app, which tasted good but tuna color was dark brown. They assured me it was fresh 2+ tuna and agin, tasted good but appearance was a bit off putting. I ordered prime rib on second visit, which they said wasn't ready, so I got the French dip. Was quite delicious, piled high and horseradish was good and you gotta love shoestring French fries. First visit got the mahi sandwich, which tasted good but was very wet, perhaps they didn't dry before going for the blackening or it was previously frozen. Salads were delish as well. If they tighten a few things up, definitely will be a 5 star in my book. read more

We had brunch there today. Delicious food but not a lot of brunch options? This could be a great destination for BRUNCH. There are not a lot of brunch options at the Lake. The decor is chic and on trend, and it could be a great SUNDAY BRUNCH place. We ended up with the deviled eggs, which were delicious, grilled artichokes (very oily)and kettle chip nachos that were served with blue cheese and beef pot roast. Delish! This place offers a great atmosphere, great drink selection, and good menu selection. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, and live music outside on Fridays. The drinks.......PHENOMENAL!!!! If I could have, I would have tried all of drinks on their specialty drink menu, they are made with fresh squeeze juices. I would definitely recommend the Rasberry Lemonade and the Cucumber Sunrise both great cocktails. The food was great, my steak cooked at the right temperature and everything tasted so fresh. So atmosphere was awesome, food was great, drinks great....so why a 4 star review you may ask??? The service is good but there some instances of poor service etiquette, which keeps this from a 5 star rating. Servers reaching over your food without use of manners to mind them as they reached or placing silverware directly on the table. I know it may seem little, but in a post pandemic world I feel you have to be respectful of everyone's personal space and personal feelings of restaurant cleanliness. Our waitress Shelli, was amazing and was not a violator of the service etiquette. Outside of the service etiquette issues it was an overall great experience and I would highly recommend. read more

I have eaten here many times and it was good. This was a terrible experience - dinner salad order (Thai Chicken Salad) that was always good but was served in a small side salad plate. Let them know that was not the normal $20 dinner salad but no luck. Had them remove it from the order and left. Noticed the Grey Goose martini was $16 (extra $2 for the blue cheese olives). This is our favorite date night spot in LKN! We've been here at least half a dozen times both as a couple and with friends, and Table 31 never disappoints! The deviled eggs and grilled artichoke apps aren't to be missed, as well as the pork chop and prime rib entrees. Nice place for dinner in Langtree. We went early with our daughter and had great service and a good experience. Pro tip- ask for their toasted ciabatta bread for $1, it's like a lovely garlic bread and so good. My husband went with the trout and I got the cheeseburger. The shoestring fries are delicious. My only compliant was that I wish the menu had more vegetarian/plant based options. It has many meat and fish dishes, but not many vegetarian options for my husband. They have a good variety of cocktails and and wine to choose from. They also have a nice outdoor seating area for drinks and groups. read more

We've been here once before and thought it was just ok. So, we thought we would give it another chance. This time was just as bad. The service was terrible, food was very mediocre (most of it didn't even come out warm) and it took over 2 1/2 hrs for not a fancy meal. And when we did explain to her when she asked how our dinner was that it wasn't great and our food was cold because it took so long, nothing was done. Other than an I'm sorry. Service and overall experience has gone down the gutter for sure, but food should still be prepared to the quality of what it's supposed to be. I'm sick of people using the excuse of Covid or because they're short staffed. Especially when they're making nothing that's a super fancy meal but a sandwich. We went here on a Sunday evening for the first time. Table 31 is new restaurant also in a relatively new area at Langtree. It's the sister restaurant of Alton's in the peninsula in Cornelius. We were seated promptly and it wasn't all that busy. The first thing I noticed was there was a TON of people working. I assume this was because they were new and there was training taking place and what not. Some of the patrons were wearing shirts and ties, some t shirts. A large mix. I recognized a lot of Table 31's menu items from Alton's. It almost seems to be a condensed version of Alton's menu, with a few things added. We got the stinking rose for an appetizer. It's essentially roasted garlic in oil that is used as a spread for bread. It was quite good. I would recommend adding more bread to this appetizer as there was quite a bit of the spread left when we ran out of bread. I opted for the ribs. This came with coleslaw and fries. The ribs were quite good. Very fall off the bone. The coleslaw on the other hand was very bland and just not that good and the fries were just eh as well. It's probably a personal preference thing due to the fact that I'm not really a fan of the "shoe string" fries but they also were kind of just room temperature as well. Maybe it'll be better when they get some of the kinks worked out and I do want to try their happy hour, but right now it was just okay for me. read more

Came here with some friends and the experience was pretty awful. The food was mediocre and the service was horrible. Do not waste your time or money here as it really isn't worth it. So we had a few things since we had s group of 4. Started off with the Deviled Eggs which I think were the best thing that we had. The girls had the salads (Brussel Arugula Salad with shrimp and Brussel Arugula Salad with Salmon) and really enjoyed them. My buddy had the BBQ Platter which was a special for the evening. He was pretty disappointed as there was no flavor in the brisket. I had the Seared Tuna and again was lacking flavor. So many of you would say, hey send it back or tell the server. Which brings me to my next issue. Our server was nonexistent. Didn't check on us at all and saw her glance over and walk away multiple times. We had to flag other wait staff to get additional drinks and service. Not sure what the issue was. We did manage to grab the manager and she was very apologetic and comped our appetizers and drinks. Needless to say the server should choose another profession. One last thing that struck us as interesting is that this was an offshoot of Altons Kitchen. Honestly if I didn't know better, I would have thought it was affiliated with 131 Main. From the way the wait staff was dressed to the menu layout, it was pretty much identical. One of my new favs... I spent this entire weekend eating out. The. Entire. Weekend. After a very long day of work, coworkers wanted to eat out before they went back to their hotel. My wife and I hadn't been here yet so we suggested. I tried to keep this meal as plant-based as possible... And while I couldn't find many, the couple that I did were amazing. Stellar even. These are good people and I'm sure that if I asked enough questions and annoyed them enough they would have guided me to something or made something special. I didn't want to be that guy. I got the Brussel Sprouts salad with almonds, bacon, dried blueberries, Manchego cheese... w/o the bacon and cheese. IDK how they prepped the sprout leaves or what dressing the used on this... but this is honestly 1 of 2 ways that I can now eat brussel sprouts. I love my veggies but I am like child when it comes to brussel sprouts and I need to be tricked... and tricked they did me. Seriously bomb as bump. I also got the Stinking Rose: roasted garlic and olive oil, with warm toasted ciabatta. This was the most velvety deliciousness of garlic I've ever eaten. The perfect texture, flavor and just... dang. I really can't explain how well they made garlic taste. I mean, I really like garlic already but this is just next level stuff. As for a drink... I got red wine. Zin, cuz yaknow, that's my thing right now. It was fine but I think my food overshadowed it a bit (not complaining). Vibe... We got there around 5 on a Saturday and it was decently busy. I got up to go to the restroom an hour later and it was packed, with a wait. Plan accordingly. This place is absolutely worth it. Slightly more upscale than a few of the places around here but I would feel just fine in jeans here. They did a fabu job decorating the place. Service... Extremely decent. They have only been open a short time and seem to have their act together. Our service was 4 days into his serving career and did a fine job. I will warn you to hold on to the stem of your glasses, as he did remove an adult beverage from the table before we were done sucking the booze off of the ice cubes. That's just learning and I can't knock him too hard for that. I'd go back in a heartbeat and ask for him if I weren't too caught up in myself to remember his name. Price... Sit in a classier place, pay classier prices. Nothing ridiculous and well worth the great food that we had. You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not check this place out. I was really excited to try this restaurant out! We ordered the chicken fried oysters to start with. The oysters were salty, crispy and good. The sauce balanced them well, although it was on the sweet side. We also had the Stinking Rosé... why is it stinking, you ask? Garlic. All the garlic. But guess what? This is an appetizer I'd come back for, exclusively! The pieces of garlic melt in your mouth, kind of like a piece of cotton candy, but more refined and delicious and amazing and tantalizing and memorable. Do you catch my drift? Order this. For dinner: I had the brussel sprout salad with chicken. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was very pleased when I tried it. The brussel sprouts were separated into actual "leaves". The salad had a great variety of flavor with the almonds, bacon, dried blueberries and manchego cheese on top (the shredded cheese was lost in the salad...but it was a nice thought.) The chicken it was served with was seasoned well and very juicy. The marriage of flavors here was genius. Well-done! I also ordered a side of mac and cheese. While it was good with the breadcrumbs on top, it wasn't anything special. When you're in the South, you've gotta be a rockstar if you're going to serve the mac. It just lacked pizazz. The dessert was divine! I found myself spooning every remnant into my mouth until it started making me look desperate. I ordered the Tres Leches which had condensed sweetened milk in between layers of white cake topped with whipped cream, strawberries, bananas, and caramel. My only upset with this dessert is that the caramel drizzle was most definitely burnt to the point of tasting bitter and not sweet (unless that was a creative choice? If so, no thanks.) The ambiance was great! I really appreciate the interior design. The bar has a central location in the restaurant which I believe adds to the absolute noisiness. I wouldn't recommend this as a quiet, upscale dinner spot because the bar was so loud. I had to sit closer to the table to hear my friends speak. It's certainly upscale--the food backs that up, and the price point is reasonable, $$-$$$. Props to them for carrying a great variety of beer! I was flabbergasted when I saw my favorite beer from San Francisco on the menu! My friend was also pleased that her drink wasn't overpriced ($8 vodka/tonic or the like?) The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is my desire for a perfect concise menu. I feel like if your menus is going to be as limited as this one is (which is fine) that you absolutely must rock out every item on the menu. If your menu is massive, filled with variety and only a few amazing items, cool. But if your menu is concise, be a rockstar on every item. I'll be back for more. read more

Went to Table 31 this evening with two friends... it was the most satisfying meal I've had in a long time. The baby back ribs are truly "fall off the bone" and delicious. The house salad is good. And you can't go wrong with either the Tres Leche or Oreo Ice Cream Sanwich Dessert. read more

We had dinner at Table 31 and our experience was interesting. We had drinks at the bar while we were waiting on our table. While they do serve bourbon they do not have it listed on the drink menu or displayed behind the bar. I had to ask the bartender what options they had and his response was "pretty much everything". The drink pour was good though and the prices were excellent. For dinner I had the pork chop and it was exceptional, probably the best I've had in the Lake Norman area. My wife had the filet and she liked it but it initially came out undercooked and she had to send it back. The biggest downside was the service. Our waitress barely came by the table before the entree came and not once afterwards until she brought the bill. We had to flag down another sever just to send the filet back, and she was exceptional. read more
