We came here by mistake. We took a pedicab (not recommended as they ripped us off) and asked to go to The Office, and were instead dropped off here. I'm guessing they knew the guy but it ended up working out fine. They had 2 for 1 drink specials during happy hour and some of the best fish tacos in Cabo. Service was great and they have lots of tables on the beach. Only downside is all the vendors that come by. Definitely worth stopping in if you're nearby for happy hour. read more

This could be only because we had breakfast here, but I have to say we were not all that impressed. Definitely ok in a pinch, but there are better places on the beach if you are interested in some huevos rancheros or chiliquilles. They do have the all day happy hour promo much like the bars nearby, so that is good. Things we ordered was the shrimp cocktail, chiliquilles, and rancheros with green sauce. Shrimp looked old and beaten up, and the guac that came with our meal looked prepackaged and not freshly made. Total bill was around 450 pesos plus tip. That was for two breakfasts, one shrimp cocktail, and one "happy hour" cocktail, which really was two 10 ounce drinks. read more

Awesome food, cheap drinks, friendly staff. Only downfall is tons of beach vendors approaching you to try to sell trinkets while you eat, but they weren't overly aggressive. They have a row of beach chairs also that you can hang out with all day and order drinks. read more

My favorite spot on Medano Beach! A little ways down from the other restaurants that are all crammed together. This place is a little quieter and more mellow. Super comfortable padded loungers, great service and reasonable prices for great food and drink. Just visited again when we were in town for the day in a cruise. I would not recommend this place unless you want to sit on the beach and have something to munch and swallow regardless of quality. My wife ordered fish ceviche and I ordered chicken wings. The ceviche tasted fine with only had little bit of pea sized salmon. My wings were charred and dry. Told the waiter about it and he said the kitchen couldn't make it not burned in order to make sure the meat was cooked. I want to let you know that these wings are not like the size of those found in the US. They are very tiny, about 1/4 of the US size. It wouldn't take much time in the fryer to cook them. So be warned and stay away. Any downtown restaurants serve delicious Mexican food then this place. read more

We were staying at Pueblo Bonita Rose and decided to walk down the beach to get something a bit more authentic. This place rocks. There is a deck but most patrons sit at the tables in the sand. If you are looking for haute cuisine, look somewhere else. This is a bar on the beach with excellent bar food. 2 for 1 happy hour from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, We ordered fish tacos and marinated prime rib tacos. We all shared and all agreed they were delicious. Lots of locals were there. The beach vendors were not as aggressive nor as plentiful as they are at beach in front of the resort. They served the strongest margaritas in Cabo. read more

We were in Cabo for six days, and we ate lunch here three times. It's that good. My husband and I had the ceviche, the Seabass tacos, and the shrimp tacos. Our kids had the hot dogs, chicken wings, and on one occasion, the French toast. It's a short walk along the beach from the group of resorts centered around the Estancia. This Burger / Taco shack is the go to place on the far end away from the Office on the beach in Cabo. Past the Pueblo Bonita and adjacent to the Club Cascadas sits a structure rebuilt to appear the same as it did prior to Hurricane Odie in the fall of 2014. With a fun for the young atmosphere I can only imagine what this place is like during spring break. The rest of the year it must rely on those time share dwellers that populate this end of the beach and those that seek it out because of word of mouth advertising. For me and my family we can't have our yearly visit be without a trip or four to get a fast good breakfast or lunch. Many go for dinner as well and sit at tables made up for dining on the beach a nice covered deck is available to watch the action below and on the waters edge as well. No indoor seating here so if you want that there is a McDonalds in town near the CityClub store. Traditional Mexican fare as well as good hamburgers and fries make up the menu during mid day. We had breakfast at Tabasco's more often than we didn't, and for good reason!! The food is wonderful, there is a nice array to choose from (I may have had a corn dog one morning.....), and the staff is very friendly! They remembered us after our first visit (joked that they remembered that the ladies paid the bill) and were very attentive and helpful. My husband and I stayed at Rose' on our honeymoon where we discovered Tabasco just a few yards away from our hotel on the beach. This was the most flavorful chicken that I had during our whole weeklong visit. I got the chicken enchiladas while my husband got the chicken fajitas. The guacamole was pretty decent as well. We had lots of guacamole all week. I'd say that Tabasco served at least average guac. I must say that we made some great friends at the resort. We "talked up" Tabasco until we convinced them to go. They reported an experience much different from ours as they described the chicken as chewy and tasteless. Horrible Service. We were sat at a dirty table. The server, Noe, was quite rude from the start he said he would have to charge me double the menu price to order a drink "virgin" with no alcohol because as he put it "It's better with booze in it". He proceeded to call my son "a fu $%ing child" and didn't want to honor the discount card we presented. Even though the menu said Visa and MasterCard accepted he told me cash only when time to pay the bill. I think he didn't want me to see the check because he had added a generous tip for himself to it, probably knowing after the way he treated is there wouldn't be much of one . As we left he yelled at us to "f$% off and get out of here an never come back " . Likely the worst visit to any restaurant I have ever experienced. We stumbled upon this beach bar our first night in Cabo and I have to say the casual atmosphere alone with the view is a reason to visit. The waiter came immediately after we sat down and was ready to take our order. We had no idea what we wanted so we asked him to give us a couple of minutes. I don't know if that upset him because he didn't return to talk to us for another 15 mins. When he came back he started with, "are you ready now?". Specifically requested the special, 2x1 drinks, when ordering, the server puts the drinks in for doubles, which are not part of the deal. If this didn't happen at the previous bar we went to we wouldn't have bothered confirming. If you say you want something, why give someone, something else? Not a big deal. I write the tip on the receipt and he calls me out on short tipping when we had 1 drink, and a meal to go.... I would have tipped appropriately if we had stayed. But again, whatever, except here's the real kicker..... He walks away with my credit card. We stand up from the table, hadn't even left the restaurant and we realize. We ask the server he does not have it, we ask Noe and first he denies it. Then suddenly finds it in his own stack of personal papers. Un-fricken-believable. I have worked in this industry for many years and am so disgusted in his behaviour. I am trying to speak to him in private until my friend who speaks Spanish comes to discuss this with him, he says he's on his lunch break and doesn't want to speak to me anymore. Sorry, but you don't get to pick and chose when and who you want to speak to when you try to steal my credit card. He claims we left the restaurant and that's whhe didn't come after us. Yet we didn't leave.. and he first tried to deny even having it. All in all, would never EVER go here again. Ran the gauntlet from RIU palace to tabascos by braving the rough sand and countless vendors, but it was worth it. The chicken tacos were delicious. My wife is still thinking about them 2 weeks later. Not sure if it's because she was just really hungry at that moment in time or they were really that good. Either way we both enjoyed this spot. It's a little pricey for Mexico but it's cabo I guess. Think American prices. We had beer, tacos, and a top shelf margarita. It was a cool spot!! Vendors can be annoying but whatever. Wanted to try this place for a few years now. We went there on Tuesday the 11th for lunch. Had the chicken tostadas and nachos. By 5 pm my wife and I were both violently ill. We were sick for the next 24 hours with food poisoning. Since we both ate different things at breakfast and got sick at the exact same time it was the lunch. There were flys all over the place and the service was not great. The Daiquiri we had was so watered down and had no flavor. Stay Away!! read more

My family and friends have been coming to Cabo San Lucas for 22+ years and we have always enjoyed Tabasco's and promoted their food and service to everyone we came in to contact with. NOW, I am sorry to say that they have done things to my family and friends that have caused me to discourage everyone I know, never to eat at Tabasco's EVER again. We have a party of 17 friends and family members this year, and I have heard on two occasions where the wait staff at Tabasco's have scammed them by sneaking in extra charges on the tag. These unscrupulous business practices of Tabasco's will gradually result in the demise of this once great restaurant. Customer service and honesty are muy importante to us "gringos" Tobasco's. Excellent place! Next to the Villa group, easy walk on the beach from Villa La Estancia. Happy hour 7-7 daily. If you order one drink, you get two. By far, the best bloody Mary! Simple, good menu. The service is excellent. They discourage talking to beach vendors which keeps them at bay, for the most part. My husband and I have spent every morning there, for breakfast. They noticed that we liked the music one morning and turn the station to that channel when we walk up now. Peaceful, enjoyable way to start a vacation day! Worst part is leaving!
