Great service from staff- per usual…read more Got confused coming to this restaurant as they are rebranding the name & it's another name on other brochures as their "steakhouse". Server was nice, it's a gorgeous outside restaurant. Can be a little chilly so it's great they offer blankets. Got their mocktail that was similar to a pina colada- was great! Fresh & tasty! Tomato soup was my servers choice of soup which was good, just a little bland & not super hot. Served with a mini grilled cheese that I didn't care for. they also brought out complimentary bread as I was finishing dinner that I didn't care much for either. One was stuffed with cheese, but the bread was so hard it was like a rock. Served with honey bacon butter which THAT was good. For my main, I ordered the roasted chicken thighs which were SOOOOOOOOOO good!! Was not expecting it to be that great! Truly shocked & very pleased. Ordered a side of asapargus to go with it since I'm not a fan of grilled pineapple which the chicken was served with. Also, if you like hot sauce please ask for their habanero one!! SO DANG GOOD.

Saw some really good reviews online so went there to check this place out for dinner. The seating…read morearea is ABSOLUTELY beautiful! They even had a musician playing guitar. When we first went there, the receptionist asked our room number and if we had any dietary restrictions. We told her that we can't have any pork or bacons. Then she took us to our table which was right in-front of the kitchen and the pool. The live music was going on, the atmosphere was great. We ordered the MELTED CHEESE (200 g) as the starter, RIB EYE (350 g) & GRILLED OCTOPUS (250 g) as main entrees and finally BAKED APPLE as dessert. We placed our orders at 6:55 pm and then kept waiting and waiting! After waiting 35+ minutes we literally had to flag down our waitress as she NEVER came to our table even once to check on us or to give us any updates on our orders. We asked her what happened to our appetizer/starter item and to that she said she will have to and ask. Finally at 7:46 pm the foods came...the pathetic "house" bread, the starter and the main dishes...all at once! Remember the receptionist asked at the very beginning if we had any dietary restrictions and we said we don't eat pork/bacon?? Guess what...the house bread came with bacon-butter! When we told them we can't have that butter, they were very kind to replace it with some store bought butter packets. The house bread was a shameful item. The starter was okay. The main dishes were actually pretty good. The dessert item was ok, but the serving size was very small comparing with the price. And as we were sitting in the open air for about 2 hours, it was getting chilly. The heater they brought for us didn't even work. It turned off twice automatically after few seconds and the staff just left it there. DEFINITELY never going back to this place again for meals. It's a beautiful place to have drinks but may be not meals.

The grounds are stunning -- peaceful, lush, and effortlessly cool -- with the perfect balance of elevated resort vibes and warmth. What makes it even more special is that Acre also operates an animal rescue, helping save dogs from the streets and even arranging adoptions around the world. We legitimately almost adopted one while we were there. The entire culinary concept is organic farm-to-table, and you can truly taste the difference in every dish. Everything felt intentional, fresh, and incredibly well executed. Food highlights: - The mixed beet salad was hands down the best beet salad I've ever had in my life. - The crispy rice bites are a must order. - The catch-of-the-day ceviche with soaked jicama and green apple was phenomenal and one of the most unique, well-balanced ceviche preparations I've ever had. - Steak tacos were fantastic. - The tomato tartare with fresh and sun-dried tomatoes, light aioli, and crackers completely surprised us -- insanely flavorful and memorable. Cocktails were equally impressive: - Sips & Beets (my fav. I love beets & I love mezcal. Didn't think they would go, but had to try. It's outstanding!) - Margarita independente was my other fav - Guayabita - Espresso martini made with tequila And beyond the food, the hospitality was next level. Executive Chef David personally stopped by our table, chatted with us, and after noticing me taking photos, gifted me one of the dried decorative corns from the property. Such a thoughtful, genuine touch that perfectly reflects the spirit of Acre. This was one of those rare dining experiences that feels magical from beginning to end. We'll absolutely be back (this will become a spot we visit every trip to cabo!)

There's also a cute boutique infront of the restaurant. The service was exceptional. Big shoutout to David and Asia! Dinner and drinks were both phenomenal. We loved it so much we want to plan a trip to come back and stay in one of the treehouses. The entire place was just magical. I would highly recommend coming an hour before your reservation to walk around and visit the animals! There's horses, chickens, bunnies, dogs, cats, goats, etc! Seriously the best part of the trip. PS. Order an espresso martini! They make it table-side. Pairs nicely with the frozen key lime pie. Don't know how they do it but the crust is nice and chilly and the lime custard inside is soft. 10/10.
