Daytime menu

This is a review for the *lunch service* at Nak. They also have a dinner service with an almost completely different menu and more formal setting. Lunch runs from around 11:00 to around 6:00. As you might expect from a JW Marriott, the prices are steep. Expect to pay a minimum of $30 for a few tacos and a beer (less if you work for an airline - most airline employees get discounts). However, the food is pretty tasty and the service is good. The baja fish and octopus tacos are must-gets, but the al pastor tacos leave something to be desired. The beer is standard Mexican brands - Pacifico, Tacate, Corona, Dos XX. The setting is pleasant, but I would like more shade; it can get super sunny out here.

I visited Nak grill 3x during my stay. The first two were great because i had Willy as my pool side server. His anticipatory customer service skills are what you expect when you visit 5 star michelin restaurant with a la carte service. I digress, to the fact i was simomy ordering drinks and snacks for a party of 3, but i can see that he listen carefto everyone's specific request. He also made sure that whatever we order once delivered to the pool that it was to the liking of everyone and he did that with a smile. He took such great care of my family that i end up asking him if he was at the pool the next day and gracefully he had been assigned to work at the same spot 2 days kn a row. On both days we made sure to leave the tip in cash and we were very happy to tip 25% of the bill. It is because of people like him, that really go out of the way to deliver exceptional guest experiences that i would come back.

We tried Nak for both lunch and dinner. For lunch, it was a solid experience and we enjoyed having guacamole, salsa, and chips daily! We also tried the giant cheese filled corn dog, tacos, and the burger. For dinner, tried the chicken tortilla soup, melted cheese, steak, and grilled octopus. The melted cheese was a yummy but a bit challenging to eat as the stretchy cheese was hard to pull out without continuing to pull more cheese out. The octopus was good but almost too soft.

Technically at UA Culinary Artisans' patio, but this same chips & salsa & guacamole is available at the saltwater pool!

Though I never ate at Nak - properly - I loved their chips & salsa & guacamole at the saltwater pool. I also recommend their pina coladas!

Came for dinner during our stay. Food was amazing, and the service was great! Everyone was super friendly!

Surf and turf

We ordered surf and turf. The shrimp and octopus was not memorable but the skirt steak was amazing! They offered a house habanero hot sauce that makes everything tastes even better. 5-star service and atmosphere too. We will be back for more food!

Our fresh caught yellow fin from the morning! Sashimi

Service was good. Food was ok. I liked fish of the day, but steak was not good... Ribs were ok.

Traspatio ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our time in Los Cabos. From the moment…read morewe walked into the intimate open-air courtyard, we knew we were in for something special. The setting feels like a hidden backyard oasis -- soft lighting, light music playing in the background, and a cozy, romantic atmosphere that still feels relaxed and welcoming. The food was phenomenal. We started with the Tuétanos (bone marrow), which was rich and perfectly roasted, topped with charred corn, fresh radishes, and Serrano chiles that added brightness and just the right amount of heat. It was indulgent without being overwhelming -- an incredible starter. The Queso Fundido with chistorra sausage was everything you want it to be -- bubbling, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with the smoky, slightly spicy chistorra. Comfort food elevated. For our main, we had the ribeye, and it was outstanding. Cooked beautifully, deeply flavorful, and high quality. Every bite reinforced how much care goes into the food here. What really stood out was the value. The quality of the dishes rivals some of the higher-end restaurants in Cabo, yet the pricing felt more than fair. Based on food quality and overall experience, this easily ranks among our favorite dinners of the trip. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the night, which made the entire experience feel even more special. If you're looking for an intimate setting, exceptional food, and great value in Los Cabos, Traspatio is a must.

My family was in the mood for really good ribs after overdosing on shrimp and Mexican food search up ribs on yelp and TripAdvisor and found this place listed so impressed from the minute. We arrive with a beautiful garden, outdoor cozy, dining area and fire up grill. Our server was amazing and she spoke perfect English and took my father's ridiculous jokes with a smile and a grain of salt. She also made sure that my mother knew that her dish was a smaller serving which my mom actually didn't even finish. We ordered the pork rib dinner with an upgrade of the baked potato, which was the best thing ever. Potato was perfectly served with a mixture of butter, and perhaps sour cream wished and large fresh chunks of bacon on top. The sauce barbecue was sweet and tangy, but not too much of either. For the moment we walked into the moment we left everything was absolutely perfect. The ambience is inviting and soothing, and the food absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place and will keep it on my return to list whenever I am in San Jose del Cabo! PS we are still kicking ourselves because we ran out to catch our Uber before getting our box up leftovers.!
