Wow! What a surprising great place in the midst of a bunch of touristy places. The drinks were spectacular, and interesting! We ordered a mezcal Reyes (I had never had worm salt before!) and the old fashioned (although my fiancé said this was a little fruitier than he's used to). we got the Mac and cheese to begin with which was extremely good! I had the Dock D entree but got chicken instead of fish, everything was tasty. The chicken was very moist, the outside of the chicken was slightly tough but overall good. My fiancé got the Thai pork belly, he wanted the barbacoa but they were out. The waiter did share with us that they are completely changing everything about this place. They are planning to make it a legit Mexican food place (not the touristy "Mexican" food everyone else serves), changing the name etc.
Wow, authentic and tasty! You won't be disappointed in anything you order. We had the pork belly and asada tacos as well as a cheese chicharrone dish and everything was delicious.
Absolutely loved everything! The service was great, and waiter and server were super friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. The ingredients in all the food were fresh, and love that they choose local and organic. We ordered the orchard salad, the sliders w/truffle fries, and the mac and cheese w/bacon. I know all this stuff sounds really safe, but you won't be disappointed! The salad came with a plum pate which was nicely complemented with the goat cheese. The jalapeño cheese bun gave the burgers a nice kick and the meat was cooked to perfection! The mac and cheese was my absolute favorite (even ordered another to take to-go). So rich and creamy, and the Parmesan crust was so good! Don't skip the bacon. I will def be back on my next trip, and we'll be a little more adventurous with the menu next time! Also! They go above and beyond for service. Instead of telling me they were out of bacon, they sent someone to the store to get some for my Mac and cheese. Now, that is awesome quality service!
Conveniently located in the Cabo San Lucas marina, right outside the mall, Common Table was a welcome break from all the very rich seafood and traditional Mexican fare we had been eating all week during our trip to Cabo. The bread that they brought was warm and delicious, and a very nice appetizer. I had the mac and cheese which was the favorite of the table, and other orders in my party included a burger, a flatbread pizza, and an order of crab cakes. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, but the crab cakes were quite small, and we got an order of truffle fries for the table that tasted more like regular fries. Those were pretty much the only minor issues we had - not a big enough deal to complain about, but be forewarned that's the case when ordering those two items. Minus one star for the extremely slow service - despite being one of two tables being served, it felt like it took forever to even get our drink orders in, and by the time they came our food was practically ready. Otherwise, Common Table is a unique spot in Cabo if you're looking for a more modern menu and lighter food in general.

I am very happy we did! Fresh local and organic ingredients for all menu selections. Huge cocktail menu and a pretty good wine and beer selection. I ordered the fresh sea bass, grilled and it was fantastic. I have to say that after eating fresh fish every day while in Cabo, this was by far the freshest and best prepared. Definitely a talented chef in the kitchen. Hubby had the burger with blue cheese on a fresh cheddar cheese bun. The burger was cooked perfectly, had great flavor and was organic and grass fed beef. The French fries are the best in Cabo, no doubt about it! Give Common Table a try, especially if you consider yourself a "foodie". You will be happy you did! Oh, and they have a nice patio overlooking the marina.
Cocktails / Spirits on point! Ordered a salad, it was excellent. They brought us bread (2 kinds) with butter & a side of lentils and we went nuts on it - sooooo fantastic! Burger was good, not the best I ever had and for some reason there was shaved carrots in it which I think was in the greens mix which threw me off, so minus 1 point but presentation excellent.
So glad we ate here! The staff were so friendly. The food was wonderful...and fresh. I never had guacamole served with pork rinds before and it was delicious! The tacos were tasty and loved the homemade tortillas....you can really taste the difference.
This place has the best Carne Asada and Fish Tacos in the Cabo San Lucas Marina. The chips and salsa are also very good. Along with you your order, you get a trio of salsa, mild (tasty), Medium (also tasty) and hot (very tasty, but oooh hot!). Loved the Mojito too!! Thank you Manuel for the great service!!!
This was one of my favorite taco places in Cabos. The guacamole was fresh and came with pork skins. The salsa was kind of spicy but very good. They have a pretty good selection of drinks.
Came here after a long day of fishing. My husband and I had the Mezcalinda and a pineapple margarita. Drinks are strong and fruity and well balanced. We shared the focaccia, ceviche, the grilled octopus, and the squid ink pasta. Everything was so good! Focaccia came with tomatoes, and was served warm. Ceviche was in an avocado sauce and had fish, shrimp, and octopus, and was served with tostadas drizzled with sesame oil. The grilled octopus was my favorite out of everything. It was cooked so well and the char flavor really came through. The pasta was rich and was served with poached prawns. Our server, Pepe, surprised us with a key lime pie cheesecake dessert on the house. It was light and refreshing. We sat outside and it made for good people watching. The rest of the menu looked amazing and I can't wait to go back and try something new!
We happened to stumble to Common Table by happenstance after leaving medrano beach. The place had excellent service and the food was to die for. I do not normally give a place 5 stars but this place has earn it. The staff and the owner were so attentive and took the time to craft our meal and desserts. The Mofongo is not your traditional dish, the twist in green and sweet plantain combination made my taste buds scream with delight. The Gorgonzola cheesecake was amazing!!! Kudos to Miguel!!!
Hands down one of the best restaurant experiences ever. If you're in Cabo and would like to experience amazing food or just an amazing restaurant experience overall I highly recommend this place. Impeccable service, food and views. Not enough stars to rate how incredible everything is.

Probably the best breakfast we've had our entire trip! Jorge and Lalo made our experience fun and welcoming. They were extremely accommodating with substitutions (Vegetarians here). Their fresh home made tortillas were amazing, especially with their amazing salsa! The view is amazing and there are so many great photo opportunities here. Make sure to check it out if you're in Cabo and ask for Jorge!! read more
Not what I expected at all! Touristy area in the Marina, next door to Ruth's Chris. When I looked at the menu, I wanted to give them a chance. The customer experience is great! Open kitchen. Love to cook? Love to watch? Get a seat at the kitchen. These guys killed it! It's obvious the are into what they do! Great, fresh, local ingredients cooked with passion! A experience/meal like this would be $200+ in the SF bay area. Less than $50 for the 2 of us without drinks. The fish was perfectly prepared! Every ingredient was perfect! Surprisingly tasty food for a shopping mall restaurant. My organic hamburger with bleu cheese on a cheddar bun with French fries costs just 195 pesos. More enjoyable than some of the gourmet burgers I've paid 20 dollars for in my hometown of Sonoma California. The French fries were crispy on the outside and poofy-creamy inside. Fairly comprehensive wine and beer menu. Big cocktail menu. Had a complimentary mediocre margarita. But the Los Cuentos artisanal beer was quite delicious. Not busy on a Monday evening. I doubt that you'd need reservation on any evening. read more

This place, despite the ratings, left a lot to be desired. It is pretty bland. The only thing on the menu I recommend is the empanadas. They were very good. The sliders, crab cakes were not good. read more

Went here on vacation last week...Wednesday, May 18th. The experience was absolutely wonderful. Greeted immediately by the chef..or manager (I think). He was incredibly nice. Right off the bat, I had a sense that he was genuine.. how he spoke about the food and his recommendations, I could tell he really cared about the place. And it showed in the food. It was thoughtful and well presented with balancing flavors. Ordered several things as we were pretty ravenous. If I could remember correctly, it was the ceviche-like dish...grilled octopus, (3) baja shrimp tacos, (3) beef cheek tacos which came with beans and 3 salsas each and also a skirt steak entrée. The ceviche-like dish was my favorite. I wish I had ordered 2! The ingredients tasted fresh and the citrus flavor was the most addicting part. Everything else was also good. The tacos needed salsa though, a bit dry without it. The sauces that came with it were really tasty. My favorite was the peanut habañero. So spicy! There was only one epic fail....the skirt steak entrée. Attempting to macerate the piece of meat was impossible. Alas, it was inedible. We had to spit it out. It was tough, chewy, no depth in flavor.. :( Also I didn't like that it was sitting on a piece of bread with like a weird white sauce on top. Anyway...why the 5 stars?? I've never given a review with such an epic fail dish and still rate 5 stars. But the whole experience as a whole was just great. The chef approached us immediately and presented us with a dessert apologizing for the awful cut on the steak. Anyway, the dessert was theeee best dessert I had on vacation. I don't even know what it was called but it was frikken delicious. It wasn't too heavy and not too sweet which is exactly what I prefer. Being in Cabo and meeting the chef and our server who was also sooo nice, polite and accomodating...I couldn't help but to just LOVE Common Table. Truly treasure the hospitality of the staff. Oh, and everything we ordered plus 2 cocktails were only $62. Awesooome! read more

Excellent ambiance, service, food and drinks. All dishes are organic and farm fresh. Waiters were extremely knowledgeable, polite and spoke perfect English. We had the fish of the day (Sea Bass which was crusted and cooked perfectly) the first time we went. Second night we had Yellowtail sushi, Baja fish tacos, house salad and other appetizers-- all of which exceeded our expectations. Everything we have tried was scrumptious and filling. By the way, prices are far better than what you would get in the United States. Very inexpensive for the quality of food and service received! read more

We ate dessert around the corner the night before but somehow missed this place. Service was excellent and food was both delicious and reasonably priced! Super happy with this dinner choice for Christmas Eve. Mexican mule - super strong but also light and refreshing. Great use of mezcal in a drink. Drunken octopus appetizer - [braised octopus, white wine, garlic, butter, bell peppers, and grilled rustic bread]. delicious and perfectly tender. I'm a huge fan of octopus ("pulpo") when I can get it and some of the best I've ever had has been in Cabo. The broth was rich and buttery and the bread was perfectly toasted and buttered for dipping. Catch of the day mofongo (sea bass) with tortilla -plantain crust, mofongo, lentils, roasted garlic, lime pickled cabbage and Dock D (sea bass) - The sea bass in both dishes was generously portioned and perfectly cooked. I had the mofongo and my mother had the dock D and each was perfectly done - not overseasoned, not dry, and all the side elements complemented perfectly. In total everything cost 1219 pesos ($53 dollars). Very reasonable given the quality of the food! read more

WOW . This food and service is too notch! Oscar out waiter was the best! Being Gluten Free and having to stay away from certain foods the chef and Oscar gave me everything I wanted no problems so accommodating I couldn't be happier with my dinner! I got a green salad with roasted veggies chicken breast and a must, LENTIL HUMMUS( comes with hot bread and butter ) which my mom and grandma enjoyed throughly . They also ordered the sea bass which was out of this world ! Wooooooow cooked to perfection ! And hats off to Javier the bartender for pouring a delicious Rosemary margarita . So so good. All the staff is great the chef and kitchen crew can't thank them enough .. great food , great service great atmosphere and vibe ! read more
