Was on a Carnival 6 Day cruise to Cabo and Ensenada. This was Day 3 of the cruise. We took a bike taxi from the beach by the Port. He actually became our unofficial tour guide lol. He brought us here because it is a very famous spot. After going to it, it is a definitely a tourist trap. I sat this because it was very very too much. Too fancy, too showey, too out there. You could tell that no locals must likely frequent it. Definitely did not want to spend any real money in there. The music playing was not even Spanish. It was American. My wife and I did not have any food here, we each just had a drink. The drink I ordered was not great at all. It was a mojito type of drink and it had way too much mojito to it lol. When we got picked , I told him to not take us to any more tourist spots and to take us only to where locals go. We wanted to go where he would go. Of course we stayed in the area near the port, but we wanted local food only. He understood the assignment after that point.

While massive and festive, you won't find any local cuisine here. If you're looking for basic taco, burgers, or cheese fries, this might be for you. Drinks are also very expensive as compared to other local places. Our servers were super friendly and took great care of us, but after looking at the menu and realizing our mistake, we ordered tacos and chips and guac. The guac wasn't fresh, needed salt and spices. Ugh. Lesson learned. Venture out and take a chance on anywhere else, especially when in Cabo. Don't make our mistake!

The tourist trap in Cabo. A few blocks from the marina. Service is basic. The food was better than I expected. I had the fajitas and my wife had the chilies rellenos. The beers were cold. Outside seating, your chasing flies away. Typical, a photographer makes his rounds trying to get tourists to buy a picture in a frame. Pass. Lastly, payment was odd. I had to tell the waiter the percentage I wanted to give when paying the bill. In Cabo.... Go see it once. Live the experience . After that, go elsewhere.Better food can be found in local places

It was my first time in Cabo and I knew I needed to stop by to visit Cabo Wabo. The ambiance is funky, hip and very cool to be at.. The waitress was attentive, helpful and very quick. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is due to the food.. it was lacking spice or any flavor ( reminded me of a Mexican Applebees) and one of the friends had a shrimp taco that she couldn't eat and it actually has flies following the plate from the kitchen.. if you go to Cabo Wabo- grab some drink- they are amazing ( I had "I can't drive 55" Yum) , buy a Tshirt- amazing gift shop, but don't have any food- it's not worth it.. LOTs of other great food options in Cabo..

When in Cabo, you need to stop at the Cabo Wabo. Good bands. Good food. Good service. The lines can get long if they have some kind of special entertainment, or if Sammy is expected to be there. It's worth checking out. It's only about a 5 minute walk from the end of the marina.

My boyfriend has always wanted to go there so that was our first stop and I'm glad it was. They had these lobster tostadas that were killer and their drinks were delicious fun atmosphere very friendly people can't wait to go back.

I took a cruise a few weeks ago and stopped in at Cabo Wabo for a drink. I am so glad that I did! The service was on point, all the ladies and gents were really hustling, polite and professional. I loved all the music that was playing and the atmosphere was fantastic! I sat in an open air area so there was a light breeze going through and it felt really good! Drinks are a little expensive, but I didn't care, I was more there to say that I had been there, it was on my bucket list! I really enjoyed the short time that I was there, just taking it all in. I saw that they have a gift shop just outside and avoided that. Thankfully Cabo Wabo was only a short walk from the spot that my tour was meeting at. The next time I am in Cabo, I will stay long enough to grab a bite to eat as well, Mexican is my favorite food!

This is an adorable restaurant, just what we wanted from Cabo. We have ordered the coconut shrimp which was delicious. The garlic and soy sauce dip was a good complement to it. They have an appetizer coconut shrimp that only comes with the shrimp. The meal portion comes with yellow rice and grilled veggies. The service was faster than we expected given that all the tables around us had no food or drinks when we sat down. All around, a great place to stop when in Cabo San Lucas.

There are always a few things you know or hear about a place before you visit them, for whatever reason or not but one of the things we knew was a thing in Cabo was Cabo Wabo owned by Sammy Hagar. Known to us to be a great bar with music, etc. that is one of the many things on the must do list while in Cabo and yet we found ourselves asking ourselves why? Walking up, the place was larger than most other establishments around the area but wasn't fancy. Ben had actually walked ahead of me so already had a table so I walked in just taking in everything while looking for him at a table and was surprised to be underwhelmed by what I saw. The area we were sitting at would be best described as a semi-covered outside area that needed mist fans to make it even somewhat remotely comfortable, which I understand being that our visit was in July is hot but I didn't think any part would be required to be outside. We didn't have an option when Ben was sat. Service was friendly but not overly attentive to us to see if we wanted another drinks or food until about the time we were ready to leave. We had reviewed the menu but nothing screamed out as something that we should try, especially for the pricing. Sadly this was a big let down for us during our visit.

I'm talking the kind of band that makes you want to order another margarita just so you can clap along like you suddenly grew up in Guadalajara. And the food? Real-deal Mexican classics mole, enchiladas, chile rellenos big flavors coming out of a kitchen that knows what it's doing. Now let's talk about the chips and salsa, because I didn't come here to play games. Some restaurants give you chips like they're doing you a favor three chips and a little salsa like it's a museum sample. Not here. These chips show up ready to party. Crunchy, warm, and the salsa hits you like, "Hola amigo, welcome to flavor." Add the incredible service and that mariachi band floating through the courtyard and suddenly dinner turns into a whole event. Honestly, this place was one of the highlights of my Cabo trip and my socks? Yeah... they're still somewhere on the floor from those chips and salsa.

But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.

Proper Mexican mole the kind built from dried chiles, nuts, seeds, and even a whisper of chocolate thick, dark, mysterious stuff that tastes like it took a committee of grandmothers three days to invent. Then the tacos arrived, and that's when things got serious. These weren't tidy little tacos meant for polite company. No sir. These were the kind where the juice runs down your hands and you stop worrying about manners because flavor has taken command of the ship. La Lupita is known around Cabo for its creative tacos and massive mezcal selection, and judging by the crowd and the music humming through the place, folks already know the secret. The evening we dined here it was raining, and while that is normally not significant, Roasted is partially open-air with the middle of the restaurant having no cover, so the rain was pouring in and effectively closed 60% of the place. When we arrived, the hostess and owner were apologetic and offered to rebook us, but we aren't quitters and a little rain does hurt us...but they also had a table near the entrance that was covered, so we decided to take it and enjoy our evening. Best decision ever! We started our evening off with a few cocktails paired with shrimp ceviche, queso fundido with chorizo, guacamole and an assortment of salsas. Once we ate through all this goodness, we tossed in our main courses of short rib, octopus, imperial shrimp and tampequena's. Finally we rounded out our meal with a few desserts consisting of cheesecake, chocolate flan and key lime pie! Everything was cooked to perfection, plated beautifully and absolutely delectable from first to last bite! The tampequena was my order and consisted of flank steak sided with a chile relleno and quesadilla...all of my favorite things as one meal? Sign me up! The desserts were delightful with all of us non-flan people being converted after trying the chocolate flan! Ownership put the desserts and a round of tequila shots on the house due to rain, which is more than they had to do. We were beyond thankful and appreciative. Service was phenomenal as well. Our server, the hostess, owner and food runners were all engaged, friendly and helpful. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous! The lit tree in the middle of the restaurant is a centerpiece and a perfect anchor to the decor and vibe. Overall, Roasted was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time, and definitely the best one we had while in Cabo. Do yourself a favor and come here! We definitely know we will be back!
