This outdoor bar is where we watch both the Warriors playoff games and they won! The service is friendly and very attentive. They play the game and the sound which we couldn't find any other place did. It was windy one night and our waiter handed us fresh ponchos to wrap around us which was very sweet of them. Shortly after, they put on a heat lamp next to our table. Their food was decent for an outdoor bar. Their bathrooms got disgusting in the late night as you're not allowed to put paper down their toilet. So I saw poop stains and poop toilet papers in the trashcan that was appalling. If you want to watch a game, I'd highly recommend this place as this place also plays the sound. read more

Love the open air design of the bar here. This is definitely a tourist spot, and a hangout spot for expatriates as well. The staff here and owners are from the US, and they play a wide variety of live and recorded music in English. Pricing here is great. Not as cheap as the Nowhere Bar a couple of doors down, but definitely low prices. And the service here is fantastic. How can you go to Cabo San Lucas and not love this great little spot? The drinks are great, cheap, and brought out fast. I was drinking last time I was in Cabo (I quit drinking since that trip), and I would go here first every night and get a Fish Bowl to start the night off with and share that with my friends who I was traveling with. That is the best deal in Cabo, as it's basically like 8 cocktails in a big bowl that you throw a bunch of straws in and sip up! They also have their rainbow shots that were fun. I ate here almost every day because they had amazingly delicious fish tacos that were 3 for $4, and shrimp tacos were 3 for $5. Even on Taco Tuesdays in the States you can't find them that cheap, and certainly not that well-made! The chicken burger is also really great too. I like that you can watch American sports here too. That was a draw for some of the guys in my group, and it helped form a bond with other Americans who were at the bar. read more

Best drink deals in all of Cabo. Weird to think that this would be a happening place because it is literally a outdoor stand in the middle of a U-Shaped Strip Mall. Some nights they have bands, on other nights it is piped in music. Get a seat by the street, take advantage of the drinks specials ($1.50 bottles of beer!!!) and listen to music while watch all of the people walk by. read more

This was our one of our favorite places in Cabo. We lucked out when we were looking for a place with a band & ended up there. We were probably two of the only non-locals there & had a total blast! It's a small bar in the middle of a plaza. Everyone was friendly & we were all buying each other shots. (Even the food is good - we went back for lunch another day & I had the TNT burger, which has lots of jalapeño & serrano peppers & is delicious.) The band played some unusual cover songs & were fun. Every day they have different specials on drinks & the prices are unbelievably low. Add in friendly bartenders & it's a winner! read more

Had a great time here recently off a cruise ship......first have to give major recognition to Margo, whose bar keeping, drinks, and VERY cool demeanor to clients maintained such a good vibe. My brother & I choose this as the 1st stop in what was to be some bar hopping (once we got out of that HORRIBLY predatory tourist Cabo marina.....like $8 US dollar bloody Marys and $4 chip & salsa basket abuses !!!!). But ultimately, we stayed put @ Cabo Blue for a good four hours as the drink specials and happy hour food was so enjoyable. Also SO great is the happy, laid-back clientele ..... so happy & fun to hang out with was this mix of Ex-pat locals and vacationers. The on-request music video system also was a great source of entertainment all night. We never tried the "famous" Cabo-Wabo bar down the street this trip, but who cares !! So if you're lucky enough to get to Cabo, my advice is to pay the $10 (US) taxi fare and get the hell out of the Marina ASAP to try and nab stools & have enjoyable times at fair prices at Cabo Blue Bar. read more

Talk about your "Party Foul"!! Cabo Blue has been my favorite watering hole for several years and I just realized I've never reviewed them. ¡No Bueno! Heck, I'm willing to bet that my wife and I have more pictures of our evenings at "The Blue" than we have of our kids! "The Blue" is, as I stated in my title, akin to the bar "Cheers" from TV. Once you've been there it's like coming back home each subsequent visit. Owners Scott and Amanda are wonderful people and the staff is easily the best in town. The main member of the staff at Cabo Blue is Juan the night bartender. I've never drank at a place for a few days, left town for 8 months and came back to a bartender that had my exact drink sitting on the bar before I could order, but that's how Juan operates. This guy has a mental Rolodex in his head full of faces and corresponding drinks that is beyond compare. The wait staff is always on top of the tables and rarely will you go more than a minute or two with an empty in front of you. Cabo Blue has an excellent full-service kitchen that prepares some excellent bar fare including the best hamburger I've had in Cabo. Now I know what you're saying, "This knucklehead eats hamburgers in Cabo"? Well I usually don't, but after having one at "The Blue" I will partake on occasion. The beef is excellent and nicely cooked with a mound of caramelized onions that is pretty hard to resist. The fish and chips are also pretty darn good too. Light, flaky batter, well-seasoned with a great crunch as you bite into it. As I understand it the recipe is Amanda's family recipe and since she's British you can rest assured she know her fish and chips. My wife tells me that the salads are very good too and I'll have to take her word for it since I don't eat salads at bars. Just one of those things, ya know? Cabo Blue has drink specials every night. There are beer specials, 2X1 margaritas, martinis, wine and shots. All specials are listed daily on Cabo Blue's Facebook page along with any other special events. There are bands nearly every night and on Sundays they have a guy that plays a violin and absolutely tears it up (yes, you read that right. Trust me). They are also THE place to catch your favorite sporting events. They have the NFL package, hockey baseball, college football and UFC. They are shown on multiple TVs all around the bar. During bigger sporting events they roll out the projection screen for your viewing pleasure. The next time you're in Cabo make it a point to stop by Cabo Blue. This unassuming little place will make you smile and I'll bet you'll become a regular. read more
