Let me preface this by saying this is my first 1 star review. Went there for a casual drink and a cigar which looked to be a perfect spot considering the location and amenities. The bartender, Thomas, was dismissive, rude and unwelcoming. I asked for recommendations and info about their offering with judgment. I would avoid supporting someone who would treat a total stranger this way when all that was given was smiles and curiosity. Thomas was tenured and bartender for 15 years giving him the attitude of being untouchable. Disappointed and frustrated. read more

Been to Cabo several times and first time I have stopped in at this bar. Mr. Miyagi was the best! He even hooked us up with a great fishing charter boat when asked. We will be back every time and look forward to seeing Mr. Miyagi! read more

Bartender is bizarre. I asked for a Tecate and was met with "do you see it on the menu?" Tecate draft is on their menu for $5... Plenty of other bars to visit, this is a skip. read more

Drinks are fine, not super strong. Service was fast, helped we came around 11 for a quick drink before leaving. Music wasn't too loud and it was nice to watch the boats come in. We didn't order any food so not much to talk about there. read more

Great place for a beer and good times. We had the quesadillas which were really good. Didn't make it back in time to try the Philly cheesesteak. Pretty much came here nightly on the way back to the resort for drinks and laughs. Bonus was the generator with the power going out. If you notice, the only "good reviews" are left by white people. Not Americans cause I'm American but Americans that are white and it makes sense since the bartender is racist against Mexicans even though he works in MEXICO! The prices don't matter. At the end of the day it's the service. I would be happening over paying for some drinks if the service was great. But if I'm racial profiled as soon as I walk in, yelled at and then kicked out for no reason. That's when I have a problem. As soon as I walked in, the guy in the picture started yelling at my sister and her friend because they wanted to use the restroom even though I was going to order more than enough drinks for them to use the restroom. If you are looking for a good time in Cabo. DO NOT GO HERE. The bartender is incredibly rude and has no manners at all. Not only were the drinks awful in this establishment, the atmosphere is so depressing. Truly go to any bar other than this. You are paying enough money to go to Cabo to waste it on such a horrendous place like this where the staff treat you like an insect. Usual Suspects was located conveniently right below our condo on the marina. They have an impressive drink menu, composed of a comprehensive list of beers beyond the usual Modelo, Corona and Dos Equis. Equally as impressive is their selection of signature cocktails. I very much appreciated the fact that this bar was completely outdoor, which was perfect for enjoying the warm Cabo weather. There were also 2 random reclining chaise chairs which were perfect for snapping a pic on the marina for the 'gram or for just resting your feet with your significant other to enjoy your adult beverage. Our bartender engaged in some great conversation, showing interest in where we were from and how we were enjoying our trip in Cabo. He was also quick to make drink suggestions when we were unsure about our next round. Overall, Usual Suspects is great for a mid day pick me up or a late night night cap. read more

Was in Cabos for spring break, after a long day of activities my best friend and I wanted a chill bar and came across this one and decided to end our night here. However, as soon as we entered, the bartender gave us a mean face, yet (regretfully) we decided to order drinks. Bartender throughout our very short stay there gave us attitude while giving a big smile to his other customers who were white. And by the looks of other reviews from Latino customers to this place I can see I was not the only one he treated badly. Found this gem of a bar thru friends a while back. Small quant and very fun. Music videos from the old MTV era are great. Can't imaging being in Cabo and not stop in for a few. The rants here about over charging is silly. Tomas has loyal, repeat customers. Don't think that would be the case if shady stuff was going on. Don't like the food? Pack a lunch! Highly recommended for classic rock, alternative rock listening while sipping on strong margaritas, cold beer. Great view of the harbor. Friendly service. So happy to find this bar. We've been here every night for drinks this week. read more

My boyfriend and I randomly stopped at this bar because we wanted a Bud Light (all our all inclusive resort had was Dos Equis, blegh). The bartender working that night was Francisco, & he was absolutely amazing. He played whatever music requested & chatted us up the entire night (we stayed there for about 3 hours because we were having such a fun time drinking & bullshitting with Francisco). If you're looking for a laid back, chill place to drink, this is the place to be. read more
