I met friends for drinks at Baja Brewing. They offer a full bar and the vibes were real chill. I liked it so much, I returned for brunch with my parents the next day. Evenings at Baja Brewing are good, but daytime is even better. The views are really fantastic. To be honest, the food is very mid. In fact, it gives American-Mexican - a Mexican interpretation of American food. Mostly familiar flavors with distinct differences. Of our starters, I liked the nachos best. The presentation was quite fun. You get a big plate of tortillas topped with melted cheese and in our case, lots and lots of chicken. On the side, you get little bowls filled with all the toppings: pico, guac, sour cream + jalapeños. Build your own nachos. For my entree, I chose the fish and chips. The fish is the local grouper. So when we travel, we love to look for craft breweries. I googled and found Baja Brewing. 10 years ago craft breweries do not exist now they are just as common as in the USA and Canada. I was so excited to find Baja. The walk was a bit from the tourist area. B got the Pelirroja Red and Baja Razz. Both were very flavorful and delicious. Too bad he was too full or else he would have wanted to try the BBC's Homemade Rootbeer. The ambiance was really nice. The view was spectacular. It was super hot and we really enjoyed sitting here. Service was good but could be better. The highlight of this place was the view and their beer. Highly recommend trying this place if you have never been. read more

This place is awesome for the views, food and beer. Service is a little on the slower side, but you're at the beach in Mexico, so who cares! The flies are also relentless here, so be prepared for an arm workout swatting them away. Overall, this place is pretty good, and they have some great in-house beers. If you're looking to get away from the beach noise, this is a worthwhile spot to check out. We got the Al Pastor which was beef and chicken, both delicious. Beer: 4.25. Came by after our cruise ship took port. This is my favorite brewpub in Cabo. Is it the only brewpub? Kind of hard to find in the Corazon Resort. Anyways, beer is good and views are AMAZING. A bit of a walk from where our ship's taxis dock. Friendly staff. Prices are high ($8 a pint) for MX. They do have a happy hour everyday from 4 pm - 6 pm ($5 pints). I'll always come here when I visit Cabo. read more

This brewery has the best views of Medano Beach. I went shortly after sunset and got a table by the corner. It's very relaxing to enjoy some beer and food. The sampler option was perfect to taste all eleven flavors! We ordered fried mac n cheese. It's so good that my kids wanted to order another one. We also ordered a pizza, which was ok. The crust was very thin, like using a tortilla as crust. We were not a fan. The service was great. We were cold and the staff brought us blankets which was very thoughtful. Baja brewing will hold a special place in my heart because it's where we had our first dinner as married newlyweds 14 years ago(2011)! Back then it was apart of Cabo Villas resorts but now it's apart of Corazon resorts. We came down on a cruise and knew we had to come back to Baja brewing since it holds so many memories for us. It's definitely bigger than it was 14 years ago and a bigger menu than we remember. I ordered the Cabotella beer and the hubby and I shared the mile high nachos. I'm not a big beer fan at all but the Cabotella is light and refreshing especially on a hot day. The nachos were good but not out of this world. Our waiter last night suggested we come here for a drink but I'm not impressed although I did enjoy climbing up 5 flights of stairs. The view is amazing but you can't really see it from the bar where we are sitting. Margarita is wayyyy too tart for me. They don't have gluten free beer and the 80's music is too loud. If you're looking for a place in Cabo where you can kick back, sip on a cold beer, and just be, Baja Brewing Co. on the rooftop of the Corazón Cabo hotel absolutely hits the mark. We've been several times now, and every visit is just as good as the last--we plan on returning every chance we get. This time around, we grabbed a couple of beers to start--the Mexican Lager (crisp, refreshing, everything you want on a warm Cabo afternoon) and the Por Favor IPA (hoppy but super smooth). Both were solid choices and definitely worth a repeat. We shared the appetizer plate, which hit all the right notes for rooftop snacking--tasty, shareable, and just what we needed to keep the beers company. Meanwhile, sports were playing on the TVs, but not in a way that distracted from the view--it all just blended into the easygoing vibe. And that view! You're perched above Medano Beach, listening to the waves and beach buzz below, watching a cruise ship settle into the harbor, and soaking in that golden Cabo light. The first thing that pulls you in is the amazing view. A variety of beers and seasonal specials will have you very entertained with the beverage portion of the meal and the most recent delicacy I have discovered is their chicken wings- Korean BBQ flavor to be specific. The restaurant is beautiful with breathtaking views. The dinner and service were less than mediocre. The fried items were soggy, extremely greasy and the oil tasted old and burned. The Tomato Cream Spaghetti was disgusting-totally inedible. We ordered a Bloody Maria and they brought it with Don Julio 70. We were charged for the drink plus a very high charge for the tequila. We didn't ask for special tequila. We happened to catch this when the bill arrived. The service was terrible. He was inattentive, had poor table maintenance and follow up. We asked for the manager to discuss these issues. He said he'd look into it and we never saw him again. We had a 15% tip charge for the kitchen staff and still had to tip the waiter. This is not how we prefer to spend time or money on a vacation dinner. At least we had a pretty view of Cabo. read more

Very disappointing. We have been here before and loved the food and service. Today we ordered cocktails and lunch and after an hour and twenty minutes of waiting for our lunch we asked if it was coming soon. Apparently they had a shift change and our order never went in. I've been to a lot of breweries and this is by far the fanciest. You won't need to dress nice, but the view from here is amazing! I had the Baja Razz and I could drink it all day. It was overcast but definitely a place to visit if you like craft brews. We also had the Donkey Balls and they cane with homemade potato chips and a special spicy sauce (that I added Valentina to it). We went on a Tuesday evening, wasn't crowded. A worker by the name of Johnny who was in the front of the building was kind enough to walk us to the rooftop. 2 stars, and it's only for the amazing view. The service was nonexistent. (Note: It was not busy at all when we arrived, there were 4 or 5 other parties of 2). We get there and have to wait a few minutes just to receive menus. About 10minutes go by without anyone coming by to ask what we want to order, I have to flag down a waiter who is at the table right next to us seating other guests. We order our beers (which are $5 but expect to pay American prices for all the food- everything's overpriced!) We finish our beers and enjoy the view, taking pictures for some time. At no point are we asked if we want another one or if we'd like the check. I have to go to the bar and ask for the check since ALL 5 waiters on duty are just hanging around right there. We pay in cash and there goes another 5minutes that it takes them to give us change. Overall- decent beer, amazing views but expensive food and non-attentive waiters made sure we'd never come back nor recommend. read more
