The servers were quick. The list of margaritas were great including a hibiscus one which I ordered. We sat in for drinks and a snack. Great salsa. Chips not fresh but decent. Guacamole pretty good. A little framed but nice seating.

I can see why this place is a huge hit. It's open setting sports bar, fun vibe, lots of TV screens, variety of tables and chairs (inside and out), good drinks, food, service, etc. We ran into this Cabo Cantina, basically looking for simple authentic Mexican breakfast. The restaurant was a couple minutes away from our resort and didn't feel like walking around searching for the right breakfast place. We took a quick look at the menu, saw friendly and welcoming staff and so we stayed. Being a creature of habit, I ordered chilaquiles with eggs, green sauce, non spicy. It came with beans and no rice. Not exactly the best tasting but not bad. Portioning was average as with platter presentation. Temperature was good. My partner's dish, on the other hand, was not good. It wasn't the worst machaca she's had but definitely was turned off by the machaca's greasiness, as if it was cooked to death. Her hash browns were on the greasy burnt side. Wasn't crispy. Both items may have been cooked in the same oil and pan/skillet. Menu prices were fair compared to marina prices. Service was excellent. Pablo was our server. Friendly, helpful, polite and attentive.

The food, service and live music in this open air restaurant in Cabo makes this my new favorite spot when I visit Cabo. Had the shrimp tacos and they were delicious especially when I added their salsa. The live music and service was quick and friendly (Winnie was our server)

Food is great. Alec and Martin are amazing bartenders. Very friendly staff. Good drinks and decent prices. Stopped in during UFC event as well as a boxing card, found seats at the bar. Ordered food and a few drinks. The quesadillas were very good and made so much better by the habanero salsa provided. I ordered one Margarita and one Mudslide. Both were great. One time there they had a live band playing and the next they had the boxing match and UFC. I loved that the band weren't super loud ( I'm 50 years old ) we were able to hear them, and didn't need to scream to hear when talking. Very good spot with awesome service. Seriously go say Hi to Alex & Martin. Again, hope I spelled their names correctly

After our excursion, hubby and I walked all around Cabo exploring the different shops and the area. We were both hangry, and other places we stopped by were only serving breakfast. Thankfully, Cabo Cantina was also serving lunch, so we decided to eat here. We opted for the seafood medley appetizer and both got tacos (fish for him, shrimp for me) and a margarita (he got watermelon and I had a traditional one). Service was attentive and friendly. We were given complimentary chips and salsas: chips were warm, and the salsas were good, ranging from mild pico de gallo to a hot spicy salsa. The seafood medley was fresh & flavorful, and we both enjoyed our tacos. We thought the meal was expensive, and cost about the same as what we would pay at home. Menu pricing is in pesos, but they accept US dollars and credit cards.

Chiefs on TV

They were nice enough to reserve a table for us to watch the Chiefs game. Hector and his staff were amazing! They took good care of the 7 of us. The Starlink internet was a nice touch. My dad had the beef enchiladas and liked them a lot. My wife and I shared the fish and chips which was outstanding! The atmosphere was festive and fun. We'll be back.

Such delicious food, we will be back! Two beers, two chorizo and eggs, and awesome salsa and guacamole platter! It was all delicious and came to only $32 USD, what a bargain! Service was the best we have had in Mexico as well.

Great food, great service, valet parking, dog friendly. Love this place! It's on the Cabo Passport Card. Don't have one? Get it at the Caboholic Store located at Cabo Cantina. 2 for 1 entrees.

“The habanero salsa that came with the Guacamole Wheel was very very hot so I should've heeded their warnings.”

Outpost became our morning ritual in Cabo, three mornings in a row, eating breakfast twice and…read moreenjoying ourselves more with each visit. Funny origin story: we were just looking for coffee on our first morning, and somewhere in that search decided -- hey, we're on vacation, why not find the best espresso martini spot instead? Best decision of the trip. Outpost delivered in a huge way. Bonus on a humid August day: They have AC inside. The space itself has real personality: exposed brick, framed portraits of aristocrats with dog heads on the walls, and a couple of TVs built into ornate frames just looping a crackling fireplace all day. Great 70s/80s soundtrack running the whole time too. Farm-to-table breakfast with genuinely clean ingredients -- huevos rancheros and avocado toast with a poached egg were both excellent. And the shrimp omelette had a red sauce that send the flavors over the top. The drinks are the real headliner though. I had them make my espresso martinis with reposado tequila instead of vodka, and it completely elevated the drink. My friend Kandy would usually start with an espresso martini too before moving on to their lavender martini, which became her go-to for the rest of the weekend. We also had a Carajillo done tableside, flambé style -- a full 3-minute production of lighting it on fire and pouring it back and forth before serving over ice. Genuinely one of the coolest drink presentations I've seen. Eneas took care of us all three days and was fantastic: warm, attentive, clearly loves his job. Alberto was great too. Bartender Rigo made every drink perfectly, tequila swaps and all. You can tell Chef Anna runs a tight kitchen and Jefe Calixto keeps the whole place running smoothly. If you're anywhere near the Marina, this is a must. We'll be back next time we're in Cabo.

We visited Outpost on a Thursday evening, drawn by its high ratings. The ambiance was very nice,…read morebut unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the expectations or the prices. We ordered the smash burger and roasted beet salad. The beets didn't really appear to be roasted, and the burger patty seemed to be about a quarter pound, although the bun was excellent. The presentation was somewhat underwhelming, and the burger came with just five stacked potato wedges. I understand you're not necessarily coming to a place like this looking for bargain prices, but with so many excellent and reasonably priced restaurants in Cabo, expectations should be higher. I was interested in trying the short ribs, but at $75, I'll pass. I can smoke them myself. Interestingly, on a Thursday evening, there was only one other couple in the air-conditioned dining room. Meanwhile, we noticed several nearby restaurants, although less fancy, attracting good crowds. Overall, a nice setting, but the food and presentation fell short of what I'd expect at this price point.
