They will tell you that they will make every effort to find someone to take over your rent but they are quite deceiving. I sent out some ads on craiglist and university classifieds and people emailed me about the available apartment. I turned my possible lease replacement to venture and venture told them that there are no rooms available. It got a lil fishy when i was still being charged money after people were still asking me about the apartment. So i called venture and ask them if anyone have taken over my lease. they told me "no, no one have... and the room is still available... and they are still ACTIVELY looking for an replacement" I then recalled them to act like a prospective tenent... i asked them about the exact apartment and they told me it was unavailable and that someone is still living there. I got angry and told them i was the same guy who actually left that apartment. I got angry and some things were said I warn them i will sue them if i paid for another months rent... A day after i fought with them over the phone, some one took over my rent. These people are criminals and i would not recommend them! There is also several more stories i would like to add about venture but do not have the time to thoroughly explain them but here is a small list. -made me pay for a lamp that fell on me while i was sleeping -made me pay for carpet cleaning which i have already paid for -never set up my internet so i had to use the password from the previous owner. -the women who work at the office are never helpful - the communal washer and dryers are always stinky and are sometimes broken. i remember once the dryer didnt work and all my clothes were soaking wet. so i had to pay the washer and dryer twice. -Many many many more complaints Do not do business with venture. I recommend 3000 grand or live anywhere but not a place managed by venture.

I sold/donated all my snow shovels, lawnmower, garden tools, etc. only to repurchase many items over the years. Thank goodness I'm in control of the interior of my unit. I've done extensive work, at my own expense, on snow removal and lawncare. Dues continuously goes up and service declines. Maintenance requests show as completed when nothing has been done. I've even suggested doing my own yard work and snow removal, as I used to, if I didn't have to pay the crazy high dues, which they've now added on an extra fee for auto pay.

They are detail oriented and transparent with me. There are multiple things that I appreciate about them. Here are a few of the items: 1. They ensure that my tenants are in a safe and clean environment. If something needs to be repaired they get it fixed quickly. If the repair is a bit more costly, they help get multiple quotes and work with me on the timing of the repair whenever possible. 2. They keep their portal updated so I can see the income and expense details. 3. I get a monthly report from the property manager letting me know what is going on at the properties. 4. They have good customer service. If I have a question or if the tenant has a question they respond quickly to address the question/concern. 5. They are detail oriented. The negligence and absolute disrespect is something I'll never forget. I was raided by police (Dallas county) and still am not sure the reason behind it all. I had a gun to my head and was handcuffed only to be released after they searched the house and found nothing. I want answers, but I'll probably never get them. I have trouble sleeping, I wake up in panic several times every hour. I feel like I need therapy. These guys are So hard to get a hold of. Maintenance requests take forever and when they come they do a shit job. Every single staff member I've dealt with was so horrible to me. The communication is non existent unless they wanna reach you. The properties are cheap and repairs are slim. I hope nobody else gets treated the way I was treated by this horrible company.
