This restaurant is really really nice. But hard to find. Tip on how to get there. Walk into Star Diamond Jewelry store go to the back and take the elevator to 3R and the restaurant is right there. Anyways the restaurant is beautiful. There are really nice murals decorating the walls. The waitress was really nice. She even gave me a candle for my piece of cake cause it is my birthday. But there was no one there when we were there not sure if it was cause it was Tuesday night maybe they have a bigger crowd at lunch or later on in the week. But people are really missing out that don't come here. The food was so delicious. And the prices are pretty reasonable. It isn't over priced for a meat restaurant (especially for Manhattan). And they even offer Prime Rib if you are looking for that.. but it is expensive. But besides things like the Prime Rib you can get most entrees here for $20-$30. And I highly recommend the borscht which will run you $7. But it's worth it.

Came in for lunch - place was empty/ cute/ staff nice- it is on the second floor in the jewelry district 47th st. We got - large babaganoush - good - large Israeli salad - good but lots of lettuce still would get again (real Israeli salad doesn't add lettuce) - beef lula kebab 2 skewers w vegetable side - lula good was a bit cold like rewarmed - vegetable side was bland - shawarma Lafa - good bread a bit heavy - I like thinner lafa and prefer fries on side - shawarma plate - great shawarma was also reheated but good- not much oil which I like Would love to see more healthy sides on the menu They didn't offer Chinese food would love to come and try it - came in for it originally Menu was a bit sticky needs a cleaning Cute place nonetheless - good for what I was looking for

This diamond-in-the-rough of sorts is nestled on a third floor building in nonetheless diamond district. Lepeshka was soft. It would have been better if it was served with butter. Uzbelk Pilaf was interestingly flavorful. Beef Stroganoff came out without the cream that I was expecting. It was good but has the potential to be great. A gem in the string of Eastern European food block.

Great kosher food! Prices in NY are a bit high but that's normal in New York. I would recommend!

The quality and taste of the soy sauce was better than average. The salmon and tuna tacos were made exceptionally well, with super fresh raw salmon and raw tuna, and extra crispy taco shells. The nikkei acevichado sauce blends beautifully with the avocado, lime, pickled radish, and cilantro. This entire combination complemented the raw fish, and brought it to the next level. I had a glass of the drappier carte d'or from the sparkling wine list and it paired perfectly. The drink was light, very sparkly, and refreshing. It balanced the rich avocado and the fatty fish very well. The restaurant has a bar area and a main dining area. It has the ambiance of a standard upscale Midtown restaurant.

We started with mushroom and truffle empanadas and then had the sushi rolls - everything was fresh and delicious. One downside was the condition of the ladies room - to put it nicely it was disgusting. My sister changed her mind about using it after going inside. Other than that I would recommend giving them a try.

What an experience. Didn't know what to expect from a fully kosher French restaurant, but trust me,…read moreany doubts you may have will be quelled by the time your appetizers come out. Cocktails are a little heavy on the sweetness, but the food is delicious and dessert is insane. Never had key lime pie like that in my life. Pro tip - would go duck breast over duck confit, although both were fantastic. The rack of lamb was also divine. Only criticism is that service could use some improvement, a few of our appetizers were incorrect & we felt rushed to leave at the end. But otherwise no notes, would highly recommend that anyone check this place out.

We had the…read morefront of the bar for cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres, and the room right behind the bar for our event. Passed hors d'oeuvres included beef carpaccio, ahi tuna tostadas, short rib gnocchi, and patatas bravas. For dinner, we were given a choice of three appetizers: roasted caufliower, lamb riblets, or brussel sprouts with lamb bacon; a choice of four entrees: duck confit risotto, ora king salmon with coconut curry, tournedos au poivre, or cote do boeuf. The three dessert options were apple streudel, affogato "al caffe", and key lime pie. I ordered brussel sprouts, duck, and key lime pie, and Eric R. got lamb riblets, ora king salmon, and apple streudel. I think he regretted offering me a lamb riblet because it was ridiculously tender and melted in my mouth. What is truly amazing is this is a meat restaurant, so the ice cream, risotto, gnocchi, and other dishes that we think of as dairy-based were non-dairy, and still completely amazing! It was definitely the fanciest kosher restaurant I have even been to in my life. The restaurant was so packed that we could not hear most of the speeches, which were given into a microphone attached to a small speaker near the bride's and groom's family's table. I do not fault the restaurant for its popularity though! The menu is really fun so I think it would be cool to return here for a special occasion. It is also located in midtown Manhattan which is very convenient for transportation. B'teavon!
