The previous choices were far away, horrendous, all run down, broken pumps, dirty or inop restrooms and filled with vagrants. This NEW Marverik has plenty of pumps and a great convenience store plus easy to refuel the rental car before dropping it back to the airport rental car center. Take Exit 222A Gibson Blvd E which is just before the airport heading south on I-25.

We travel across the country at least 2 times a year and always choose Loves because of their friendly employees, clean restrooms and good prices. NOT this one!!' There is a small area that carries drinks and snacks. It definitely not a state of the art gas station but it is an actual service station. There is a working auto/mechanic shop. It was just barely audible but I'm pretty weary about that kind of thing. The closest auto repair shop to us just happened to be Old Tow Tire and Automotive so we went there. I grew up in Rio Rancho but had never heard of the place. When we got inside we told them our situation and they were the friendliest staff of technicians and mechanics I have ever met. I do NOT like mechanics and usually do whatever it takes to avoid having someone other than myself make repairs on my vehicles but this staff went out of their way to squeeze us in to a packed schedule and began working on our vehicle almost immediately. They checked the tires and found that one of my front bearings in my front wheels had gone out. Rather than just telling me (like a regular mechanic) they brought the parts inside and showed me. I authorized the replacement of both of the front bearings as a precaution for a total of around 1000$ of parts and labor. (The entire hub had to be replaced not just the bearing). My wife and I waited for a little while but we ended up going to old town to walk around and see some of the New Mexico history and shops while we waited. Old town tire gave us a ride over there. We returned to the shop at around the time they told us they would be finished. They had repaired the front two hubs and asked me if I wanted the good news or the bad news. I asked for the bad. They told me that they inspected the rear hubs as well and that one of those had also gone out. I asked for the good news. They told me that they would be replacing it free of charge but that it would keep us there beyond their closing time. We had told them earlier that we had dinner arrangements with family in Albuquerque up on tramway and they remember this and offered to buy us an Uber to make our timeline while they continued to repair our vehicle (after they closed, something I have never seen a mechanic do). We made our reservation with our family and they called to let us know the vehicle was finished and that they had made arrangements for us to pick up the vehicle after hours. My wife and I are so thankful for the help and kindness that the staff at old town tire gave us. They have my highest recommendation.

Wagon Wheel is the best road service! They saved us on I-40 East. We blew out a dually on our…read moreMotorhome. They were there in 30 minutes with new tire and fixed it. The blow out did damage to our coach wiring and exhaust system. They got the wiring taped up and did surgery on the exhaust system so we could be on our way. They followed us a ways to make sure we were okay. As we continued we broke down again and Charles talked us through some trouble shooting going on with our Motorhome. As we were closer to Santa Rosa at this point he referred us to Ortega Towing and said if they can't get us towed he and Mike would come get us. Ortega helped us but Charles would check in to make sure we were okay. We can't thank Wagon Wheel; Charles and Mike enough for helping us on our travels. If you have car problems you can't go wrong calling Wagon Wheel. They truly care and again Thank You for being there Charles & Mike! Highly recommend.

Their website shows open until 5:30p but I called & was informed they really close at 5p but they would try to wait. Unfortunately he got caught behind a semi going 30mph & it took him longer than it should've to arrive. Long story shortened they waited & the tire was changed and for that I give them thanks. They however aggressively yelled at him to "Hurry his ass up..." as if the event in general wasn't stressful enough he was verbally attacked for things out of his control. AND they charged him $124 for a USED tire ... he drives an inexpensive car ... they completely took advantage of a desperate situation.
