The location was dirty, though it had several restaurants to choose from; however, the restrooms did not have paper towels. The restaurants did not have ice. All the floors were dirty and sticky. While trying to locate the restrooms, I walked past the shower area, which was worse than the bathrooms. If I hadn't needed the restroom so badly, I would've turned around and left. I definitely did not purchase any food to eat. Though I can say staff does ID at the travel center and was refusing to break the law to serve a customer who was becoming very upset because the customer failed to bring their ID, and store personnel would not allow another customer to purchase the items for the original customer. read more

We approached Route 66 from the northwest and this is basically where we joined. We pulled in to fuel up, use the restrooms, buy some coffee and my SO filmed some video of Rt. 66 signage. For us, it met all our needs. clean and convenient. Be safe out there! read more

TA travel center has items you can get from any gas station. The center has fast food options. I agree with other reviews when it comes to the gas pumps being slow. The inside and outside was clean and service was decent. read more

Even with the pandemic Travel America still manages to keep the party going and seems to still be the exclusive pit stop for travelers. It's been well over a couple years since I last visited this one. Compared to the precovid days it's looking a lot different these days. This time around I visited mainly to pick up some bottled waters and to use the restroom before headed back to Edgewood. The staff was wearing masks. Restrooms were fairly clean. The place was fairly decent with the exception of the usual occasional wacko or two hanging around. They also offer showers for the truckers or travels going through for a small fee. So if your hurting for one that's the spot to hit up. Will I be back? Most likely if I'm in Moriarty since it's the biggest one out there that also offers food. read more

May2023:2 : Okay, this location was significantly different from the other locations we stopped along the way of our trip. Several of the outside pumps were out of order with bags over them. The personnel inside at the cash register were efficient and capable. Good customer service and greeting skills. I walked through this area and it appears that the attached businesses are not functional except for the sit down diner. There was a sign at the front that indicated seat yourself. I stopped in the restroom and was disgusted by the filthy nature of the whole thing. read more

The gas pumps are sooooo slow! We had two vehicles and got 10 gallons in each in 25 minutes and we left. Ridiculous. Also, no ice. read more

Convenient as it's right off the highway, pump worked great with no issues. Inside, the bathrooms are at the opposite end where all the showers, laundry & all the truckers hang out. The women's bathroom was fairly clean and empty. However the men's bathroom had a line and I could smell the urine from outside. Husband used it and said was incredibly filthy and none of the containers had soap. read more

Worst gas station experience of my life. The pumped moved slower than anything I've ever seen. I had to leave before I even filled up because I was so impatient. It's a great spot to stop if you want to waste upwards of an hour to fill up your vehicle. If zero stars was possible I would give that. Never coming back. read more

5 stars for offering a safe, friendly and varied snack options for pandemic travel. Even the other folks visiting the stop were so courteous. Holding doors, carefully passing our children, and others, observing social distancing. The courtesy levels were so high here I did a double take to make sure I was not in Minnesota. We will save this stop for every trip through. *I might nit rate this stop as a full 5 stars in non pandemic times, but it definitely deserves it now. Keeping my family safe is a top priority that was upheld by this business. Rock on! read more

Avoid this shop. These are by far some of the laziest, worthless technicians I have ever seen in my four years of truck driving I watch the guy who was supposed to replace three tires on my truck take about 15 breaks in the process so after 2 1/2 hours and only having one tire replaced, I told them I was done. Because of this, I will never go to any TA for service ever again they charged me for two hours of work when they only actually work about 20 minutes. read more

The ladies restroom was up to TA standards: Clean and though it was next door to a smelly restaurant. The restroom smelled fresh, no poop everywhere in the toilets, it was clean even the vanity was nice. Now, the BK veggie burger was nasty. The brand MorningStar veggie burger was not tasty. The burger had an abundance of mayo, tomatoes, pickles, and ketchup. All things that I don't prefer. OK, finally a BK that fixes your burger like the picture and I'm still complaining?! Well, yes because I don't like mayo, tomatoes, pickles and didn't expect for them to fix it right. The service was top notch and the cashier, Derek was pretty cute. Nah. Had to move to 3 different pumps. Small trickle of gas at each pump. Paid at each pump. Total amount of gas in our tank (combined)? 1 gallon. Spent 18 minutes trying to pump gas. 3 card charges for less than $2. One charge was 23¢ ... Finally had to leave. Bad restrooms. No paper towels. Going somewhere else. read more

This was by far the best truck stop or rest area we've seen this trip. And we've seen several of each. Nice shady dog park area. Grassy, mowed. Clean bathrooms and store. Good prices on snacks and such. Friendly staff. Clean parking area. Plenty of trash receptacles, and someone actively working at keeping them empty. read more

Stopped in for Dinner at the Country Pride restaurant and had the buffet 13.29 not including drink. Great soup and salad bar, buffet was hot and a good selections of meats. Staff was very good, manager was out check on customers and was helping clean(something you don"t see more anymore) Most of the bad reviews are for Burger King, which I agree with, food is lacking and employees just don"t seem to care, a reflection of the manager in this case read more

The service attitude is very horrible, If there is not enough staff, can suggest to the manager to add more staff, but their service attitude is rude and customers are not satisfied with their words. Using the BK app (as I've done in the past at this and various truck stop Burger Kings), the manager Crystal refused to substitute a different drink for coffee. "Ma'am, everybody doesn't drink coffee." She didn't care, redeemed my coupon before even inputting my order - had no idea what kind of croissants I wanted. The diesel pumps for regular pick ups are a joke. You are better off going to a regular gas station that has diesel.

Just good basic food. We have always enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The wait staff is always on task , come back and check on you often. It's also kept at a comfortable temp year round and they don't play loud blaring music. read more

The restaurant is disgusting. Servers are nice but the food and cleanliness needs a lot of help. I couldn't eat the buffet because everything looked old so I ordered off the menu. My family had the buffet and the pancakes were hard ( couldn't cut them), ham had been out for a while and there were flys I got my food and there was a hair under my hash browns. I returned the food and they made it again. Wasn't great but what should I expect. It's a truck stop but they could care a lot more about the food and cleanliness. Won't be back. read more

I used their shop recently to diagnose and advise on a fuel system issue, but all they could do is scratch their balls, shrug their shoulders, charge us and tell us they couldn't diagnose the problem.... and sent us on our way in an unsafe truck! read more
