Update: Business reached out and claimed this requirement was only for screen print and not direct to garment. I was upset that this wasn't communicated to me, nor did she offer an alternative while I was in the store. She simply let me walk out. The latter half of my review below still stands, but I've updated the overall rating from 2 to 4 due to my pleasant experiences with a gentlemen that works there--and overall the miscommunication issue from my last visit doesn't necessarily warrant a 2 star review. Can't say I'll be back unfortunately due to the bad taste, but I'm sure this business will come in handy for others who need them. **** Original review: Shocked at the experience I had while visiting this t-shirt mart. I was turned away when I inquired about having 9 shirts printed on and 9 polos embroidered. They advised me that as of 2022, I must have a minimum of 18 shirts to be printed on. I'm dumbfounded they'd turn away 18 items in total because--and I quote--"the polos don't count as the 18 minimum. You must have 18 shirts". I gave this business two stars instead of one because I've had decent experiences in the past with a bigger gentleman with dark hair who worked there, but I wanted to also leave this review because I have repeatedly had bad experiences with the shop's (presumable) owner. I used to constantly visit this location prior to the pandemic and there was always some sort of stipulation she required or issue she had while attempting to place an order. Things happen yes but when this business is still taking orders with broken equipment is a bit much. Lack of customer service skills, the lady is very impatient. I've been a loyal customer of this printing company since 2012, but after their move from Oceanside, to Escondido, CA., We have found the quality of both service and product has drastically declined. I have experienced unprofessional handling of another paid order, and only after repeated complaints was a refund issued. Most recently, I requested new work, only to be told that their equipment is out of order and that they had no idea when defective equipment would be repaired, if at all. I feel that this is their new excuse for their questionable work product due to my previous complaints. Additionally, I requested they return my professional artwork. As a long time customer and professional photographer since 1965, I can no longer recommend this company. I've used T-Shirt Mart several times for branded t-shirts and polos for work. They have a huge variety of styles from cotton tees to pull-over hoodies in a rainbow of colors to choose from for both men and women. If you do not see something readily available on their racks, they can order it for you like they did with my women's polos. Embroidery quality is great. I still have my t-shirts and polos from a year ago and recently ordered a few more. Their lead time is quick too, approximately one week for an order of 18 t-shirts and polos for a co-worker and me. I don't recommend this place at all. Maybe I expected too much. But when they make your hat, make sure you ask what the stitch count is. I was quoted for almost 2000 stitches. When I picked up the hats, I asked and was told almost 1000 stitches. Lol what a joke, it's a big difference. Never coming again, better off going to downtown LA or allibaba Update to the response. 4 months later, I'm doing my own embroidery for clients now. Never have I done anything 1000 stitches or less. Again you guys are just looking for a quick buck. I shouldn't have expected more. For customers, you are better off getting your file digitized online through a site and having them give you the file. If you want more bang for your buck, take that file to Lids if you are looking to do a hat here and there. Usually the files from sites are 3000 stitching. read more

Terrible service they are very unprofessional, they take your money and tell you they have what you want then a week goes by and they tell you they are all out of that product, then they tell you it's done and only half is done, so you have to come back to get the rest. I came in on a Sunday and dropped off one shirt to be embroidered and bought two blank t-shirts to be printed. The shirts were ready the following day but I asked for them to hold them until the embroidered shirt was done. Within 5 days, they called to let me know they were all ready. I made an order to get some T-shirt's screen printed through them and was shocked how they were returned. I ordered roughly around 50 tees to be screen printed & almost half of the shirts were not to my approval. The design on most of them were off center by an inch.
