I called & asked Jose M. their manager if he could give me the promotion I wanted. He said he couldn't do it on my new Individual account. But he could do it on a new business account. So I went to the store. Jose told me that Cesar B. would get me what I asked for. And I heard Cesar call their Activations department & tell them what I asked for. It only took about 1/2 an hour to get my new account set-up & activated & working. But when Cesar checked it on their computer, he noticed it was only an Individual Account, not a Business Account that he told them I wanted. So he tried getting their Customer Service department to change it to a Business Account for about an hour. But all they did was keep transferring him to a few other departments more than once that couldn't do it. Then Jose told me I can switch it later. So I left. Jose M & Cesar's service was great. So I recommend this store. Since it wasn't their fault that Even though T-Mobile's activation service didn't do what we asked them to do. read more

Cool place, down the street from UCR. This is my new go to place. Was helped out by a hip looking dude that was very knowledgeable about getting a reception booster for my home. The wait in line was about 5 minutes and the place was very clean. It's next to the university so all the people around were a younger crowd. No kids around. SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE WITH A LADY THERE. INACCURATE CALCULATIONS. FALSE INFORMATION. AND UNNECESSARY EXPRESSIONS. I went inside with a really good mood because I was excited about getting a new iPhone. I got helped by a lady named Catlyn or Caitlyn. I asked her how much the total would be for an iPhone 11 pro with 500 gigabytes. She said they weren't selling those. So I decided to change my mind to the 12 and also because of the shape of it. And I asked how much would the cost would be for that with the 500 go. She told me that they weren't selling those anymore. And I asked why. Catlyn told me that it would have to be delivered to my house in order for me to get that...and I just stood there feeling irritated and let her know that she had me thinking they weren't buyable AT ALL. And while we were calculating the monthly costs she decided to mention an UNNECESSARY COMMENT. She gave me an attitude letting me know "Why would you get an iPhone with that much memory if you're not gonna use it all??" She also have me some inaccurate information. She wrote down on a sticky note on how much I'm going to be paying monthly. SHE DID NOT SPECIFY WHAT THAT WAS FOR. I told her something was fishy about this. So she showed me her tablet of the costs and I decided to add up the numbers and do some division and subtracting and I told her "IT SAYS HERE I WILL BE PAYING $17 monthly for the phone" Catlyn told me that will be for the line. So at this point I was just really unsatisfied EVERYTHING!!!! And she continues to give me that attitude asking me "why would you need that many gigabytes on the phone if you're not gonna use it?? My boyfriend went to pick up a new phone, because the one he was sent (new) was damaged. They had the phone, but they wouldn't give it to him, saying that he isn't in the system since three weeks had passed. (It had only been two weeks and 3 days.) In fact, the text T-Mobile sent listed July 4th as the last day to pick up the phone, and it was July 3rd when my boyfriend went. 0/5 stars for incompetence and poor customer service. read more

First off, I find it a tad strange that I am the first one rating this store. The store is much bigger than other T-Mobile stores that are in the area. It's not inside of a mall, so you can drive right up. And there is generally a quick turnaround when it comes to getting stuff done, such as a payment toward your bill. (They do have one of those bill payment center machines in the store if crowding is a problem, but be prepared: it doesn't give any change) The employees are corporate, thus, hourly. Why is this important to me? Because they don't have a problem actually helping me, which is good, compared to some other experiences in which the salesperson seems to not care about anything other than getting me to add another line to my account. Being a student at nearby UCR makes this place very convenient to go to for assistance. They are always friendly and willing to help. Do keep in mind that the mornings/early afternoons can be a tough time to find parking (though not T-Mobile's fault, obviously) due to the combination of there being nearby places to eat and lazy fellow UCR students who use the pay parking for class at the theater, with which the store shares. read more

Came here to switch services from a long 15+ years with AT&T. The change is going to be very beneficial for the family, with lower rates and more return. This store location was great. The layout itself is pretty standard and clean. The salesman that helped us was the best, incredibly helpful and mindful of our needs and limitations, not at all intimidating. If anything we weren't just another sale, and they were actually very willing to help us out with the switch (I'm sure, as the company is gaining more customers haha). But overall the experience was definitely a great one and will definitely recommend the company and this store to friends and family. read more

This store ripped me off, lied to me and destroyed my credit. I was in the high 700s and was dropped a lot after I was lied to. It appears to me that T-Mobile in general or at least this store harbors a sales culture that encourages lying to customers to get them to sign deals that are ridiculously expensive to cancel. My experience with Verizon was completely opposite. I spent more than 300 dollars here for less than 1 month of T-Mobile service and returned merchandise that I was told were part of the special non-advertised "sale" going on at the time that the salesman, David, made up. I had been a T-mobile customer for years. I bought my first smartphone from T-Mobile a decade ago. I spent one year with Credo and decided to go back to T mobile. I wanted to upgrade my phone at the same store that I bought my LG smartphone years ago. The salesman I spoke with, David, lied to my face to get me to sign up for a tablet and another line. He showed my the figure for my monthly rate, he said it was all included, tablet, phone and lines for 90 bucks a month. I asked him several times if this was the rate because there were other numbers in the paperwork he gave me. He told me, to my face, that I would be paying 90 bucks a month based on the sales they were having. This is after he sold me a case, a wireless charger, an unusually expensive protector, and a memory card. I thought it was odd that he opened these items up in the store to "help me install them" and threw away the packaging but I trusted this person. He stated they were all part of the sale going on for new customers since I was coming back from Credo. When my 150 dollar a month bill came in I called T-Mobile because I thought it was a mistake. It was not, they went over the rate. David lied to me. I felt like a fool for getting grifted. T-Mobile is a large corporation and I figured they wouldn't hire someone like this. But I was not going to let this company screw me over. I went to the store and the salesman that I spoke with verified that I had been lied to. I cancelled the account and returned everything. I had to pay a ton of cancellation and merchandise return fees, on top of what I had already paid. I was not cheap the total bill on my credit card was about 380 dollars for less than one month of service. I paid this because of the principal of the matter. I had to return to the store three times, I also called corporate and spoke to the sales people in the Diamond Bar T mobile store. David screwed me over and it was very time consuming to cancel everything. On my final trip I spoke with the salesperson who verified that I was done. I had paid the service fees and they even refunded me a little money because I cancelled before the month was over. At first they called me to state that i owed 40 dollars. I told them that this was a mistake and that I had paid everything off. The person on the phone verified what I said and even noted that I was a T-Mobile customer for less than a month before cancelling and told me they would take care it. 9 months later I learned that T-Mobile very erroneously sent my account to collections for 139 dollars. I disputed, they noted the dispute and stopped calling. Now, two years after I cancelled this T-Mobile grift, this collection hit my credit report. I am sure this is not the case for all of the salespeople there but this store has created a loyal Verizon customer. I pay 80 bucks a month for unlimited Verizon now. The Verizon salespeople put no pressure on me and were completely proffesional. Stay away from this store. read more

Perhaps the best customer service I've received when going to a T-Mobile store. I walk in and I'm immediately greeted by a warm smile and "hello" by Jennifer. I tell her I've come in to do an upgrade and she wastes no time in trying to help me. During the process one of the managers, Santana, steps in and helps with the transaction. Both give me great recommendations on what's the best choice for an upgrade and what accessories to purchase along with it. Overall I was extremely satisfied and I'm definitely going to come back to this location and continue to be helped by Jennifer and Santana. read more

I have been lied to many times from the sales and customer service department. I've been hung up on from the customer service department more than 15 times. Different prices were told to me regarding plans. I have and still have conflicting information regarding t mobile paying my sprint bill or my phones off. I don't know what's going on and I have to end with Sprint like now. I've contacted the Better Business Bureau twice now. And have not heard back from T mobile. They may be cheap, but every other part of the company is horrible! STAY AWAY! I am serious. Save your sanity and go with ANYONE else but them. read more

Great visit! My boyfriend and I came in the other day to upgrade his Samsung and he was trying to get a great phone at a reasonable price. Kenny helped us on the floor and she went through different pricing options for different phones. We really appreciate that she wasn't trying to upsell the most expensive phones and accessories, taking pressure off the shopping experience. My boyfriend walked out with a new Galaxy and a case/screen protector without breaking the bank! The guy even let me use his computer to look up my old account information...I was really impressed. Lying pieces of garbage. As a promotional offer, T-Mobile offered buy one get one free on select Samsung devices. Female associate who works here told both me and my mother that upon activation of the 2 s7's we purchased, T-Mobile would begin processing a rebate of the full price of the s7. She specifically told both of us that we wouldn't have to do anything and that we would have to wait. We were happy with the deal we were getting and left as satisfied customers. 3 months later, we had not received the rebate in the mail as we were led to believe. I called into customer care and asked about my rebate. I was told that I was supposed to have gone online and registered to get my rebate. After an hour of trying to get my rebate, the final decision was that it was too late to submit the rebate and that customer care could do nothing for me. Upon hearing this, I contacted the store in hopes of a better decision. I spoke to the assistant manager and was told that the female associate we had spoken to said that she never told us to just wait. The assistant manager then told us that he would bring it up to his district manager. I just spoke with him again and found out that they will not be doing anything to help me out. Despite this being a problem caused by their associate, I am now having to pay a total of an extra ~$740. This isn't the first time I've had issues with T-Mobile. I actually did not receive a rebate I was supposed to receive about 2 years ago. Despite customer care confirming that they had received a trade in device a month before, I was told that they couldn't give me the rebate on grounds that they had never received the phone. To sum it all up, I have been lied to and taken advantage of by this company. I am actually a shareholder of this company but the blatant dishonesty is something I cannot overlook. Amazing customer service Jenny S. was awesome and went the extra mile to help me. I went to pay my prepaid bill. I had a balance of $9.60 and needed to add $20.40 to renew my plan for another month. I paid the $20.40 and started to walk out. I got a confirmation text saying $20.39 was added but I needed $20.40 for my service to be activated. I walked back in and Jenny helped me again she correctly added the $20.40 but T-Mobile shorted me a penny. T-Mobile won't let me add just a penny so Jenny called customer service for me twice to fix the problem after T-Mobile customer service didn't want to credit me at first. She was great and I can't stress enough how helpful she was. read more

I'm going to speak for the one lady who "helped" me, if you can even call it that. I went in asking about the new promo that John Legere CEO of Tmobile. http://newsroom.t-mobile.com/issues-insights-blog/plus-ten.htm I ask her if there are any more differences to the plan, and she says we can't say anything until the 30th... In my head, I'm like the CEO has already stated almost everything there is to know out there and I'm asking if there are any more differences... Then I go on to ask her about sim cards if I am switching from ATT to Tmobile and she said it is $10 for the starter kit and $10 for the sim card. At the time I didn't want to start an argument so I just left, but the starter kit is a SIM STARTER KIT that is a total cost of $10. I told her that tmobile site is offering it for free when I bring my own phone and she tells me it is $10 + $10 and you get $10 off for the starter kit but you still pay $10 for the sim card. I was dumbfounded by how idiotic this lady was. 1) I run a business myself and this is definitely not how a business should be ran. With malicious intent to lure me into buying and paying for services I should not have to pay for. Luckily I know my stuff. 2) Lying is a definite no in running a honest and successful business. 3) this tmobile store lost a potential customer and tmobile is lucky that I am not an idiot otherwise I would have been very disappointed. The sales rep needs to explain better in more detail about our final charges of your monthly bill before running your credit check. Make sure that the plan you want and services he requested are acceptable and fair and not bring up any special or hidden charges until after they run a hard inquiry credit check done making you want to regret the entire visit. read more
