The "earliest appointment " was two days later.Took it in and was told that appointment was to have it looked at on the same day and leave it over night. Ok, made that appointment; so far 4 days without a properly working phone, but WITH Geek Squad appointments!! I show up and I'm told they are going to take my phone in some secluded place and leave it with a bunch of other phones for 4 more hours!! In this day and age? I cannot believe they cannot schedule an appointment within a few days to fix a battery on a phone-unacceptable! What makes them to question and give me all sort of trouble on family photos that has no watermark or copyright marking on? They are asking this kind of question just because they look at my photo and said they think it is proffesionally taken and wont release it. I have to spend a long time going through my phone trying to find the contact of the photographer , when finally i got a text picture of the print release, then they said it needed to be printed out !!!!! Talked to the store manager and he supported this stupic practise too !!! If walmart suspect of the copyright of the picture, they should ask for the print release upfront ! By online, phone or email before even printing something that they believe has copyright issue. Instead, they stupidily went ahead, print out all the picture, and send me email telling me "order is ready for pick up", DIDN'T mention they want print release. I think he was lazy or brand new and didn't know what he was talking about. 2 stars because the wait wasn't bad, the store was staffed well, and they also had my phone in stock when other places around us didn't. I also had to make an extra trip to turn in my old phone when it could have all been done in the one visit.
