I went in with my brother while I was visiting Reno; he wanted to buy a new phone. The person who helped us, Luis, was very clear on all differences of the Samsung phones. He was very fast to transfer the data to his new phone. Very pleasant conversation about questions my brother had about the new phone. He was also quite patient. This location is very different compared to the previous T-Mobile location. I learned this is a corporate location. Most other locations are 3rd party. The next day we went back as my brother wanted a new Bluetooth speaker. This time around, Paul helped us. What a professional young man with a great personality. He ensure he played all 3 speakers my brother was interested in buying. Again a great experience all around! read more

I love this T-Mobile location! Coming from Vegas I immediately notice two things: 1. Super clean store. 2. All electronics on display! I had a terrible experience with one representative. My phone voice mail changed languages from English to Spanish. I went in to this office after trying all of the suggestions I got online (yes, my default language was English, I even changed the language for all the apps to English just in case the default wasn't even being picked up). The rep checked my language settings and then said my phone was out of date, 2 generations behind the current and getting a new phone would correct the problem. So I got a new phone. LIttle did I know that the phone would be put on an installment plan. I was either misquoted or misheard the total price. (Okay, miscommunication happens....) New phone did NOT correct problem. Off I go to the office again. Worked with a wonderful rep, Isabella, who called up their central tech and had my new phone voice mail reset. I asked for a copy of the receipt from my previous visit whichad not been given to me. Lo and behold , somehow I was on an installment plan for a phone that I probably didn't nee. Off I go again to the office and ask to speak to a manager. All managers are off on PTO on a Saturday! (Come on guys, the busiest day of the week without a manager.) Again worked with the polite Isabella who tried to calm me down. I now own the new phone which I didn't need. And then the rep who 'helped' me called and argued about what was said during the first transaction. I could waste another hour or two talking to him and his manager on Tuesday (this is still Saturday). I tried TMobile customer service only to run into the automation from hell that tells me I can wait for 30 minutes or, mayber, get a call back when they get time to talk to me. I'm done with these guys. Isabella needs a better job and I'm going to get a better carrier. read more

The minute I stepped into the store I was greeted by smiles and asked "how can we help you"? Immediate acknowledgement is rare these days! Brandon helped me and spent a lot of time with me comparing prices thoroughly. In the end he saved me quite a bit of money. It was a great experience ! After visiting two different T-Mobil stores ,trying to get a camera we bought for a barn without wifi. I was really ready to just send it back but decided to stop off at one more... 3rd times a charm right? Well I'm really glad I did because the customer service here at this location was over and beyond. The camera was to watch our mare foal and be there incase something went wrong. Amazing! First of all, I have been with T-mobile for over five years. I have never been disappointed! Never! My usual store, where I live in San Francisco, CA, is at Stonestown Galleria! They are the best! While here in Reno, Nevada, my pgone was rapidly dying, and it did not like the cord I was using! I figured, I'd better get a cord ASAP. I entered the door of this large, clean, and simplistically neat, store. I was immediately greeted by a beautifully masked young woman, named Alanna, who asked, "May I help you?" I explained my dilemma, and we talked about my options, and I bought a Belkin charger, with cord. I inquired about Apple phones! While I have never really cared for them, I was entertaining one, because I started a new business, a Non-Profit . . . Black Trans Life Matters. Also, I use an iPad, iMac, and a MacBook, and those items provide the ultimate in password security: virtually unhackable. I discussed this with Alanna, and she introduced me to the fact that Tmo had a Business Plan. Who knew?? Well, Alanna knew, and explained all of the benefits of the plan. She explained to the Retail Associate Manager, Stephanie, that I wanted to keep my personal plan, and my business plan separate, for many reasons. Stephanie explained to Alanna and I, that my request could indeed be honored. Fantastic! Now, I was all in! We looked at phones and felt that the XR, would meet my business needs, without costing me an "arm and a leg," and could be expanded to include emplyees, once I was able to hire. Awesome! I was impressed that it was a women run store! There was a young man there, and he, like the women was knowledgeable about everything Tmo. While purchasing the phone in Nevada, their system wanted to give me a Nevada area code. Stephanie, told me she could get me my states area code, and asked which one I preferred, 415 or 628. I selected the latter. I left the store, feeling "warm and fuzzy!" I promised to stop by to holler at them, the next time I am in town, which may be later this month. It looks like I won in many ways! I met a great group of women, I got a new business plan a new phone, and three full nights, free, at the Peppermill Hotel/Casino! I have won, all around! So, am I recommending that you go to this store for all of your mobile needs? Damn skippy! read more

After hearing an employee patiently help another disgruntled customer for twenty five minutes, unfortunately the employee ran out of patience as soon as they started helping me. After attempting to pressure sell me a two year lease on a phone, I told them I didn't want to be locked into a service for two years. What if I decided to leave in a couple months, or even tomorrow? I just wanted to buy a phone outright without any promotion. They said they were going to go check if they had the phone but instead, went to tell the store manager "I wanted to get the lease deal but I was planning to leave in a couple months". So they refused to sell me a phone, and after a back and forth with the manager I cleared up the situation and they grabbed a phone I wanted. "Technical difficulties" didn't let them process the purchase for another twenty minutes and I decided to leave. No apology for the miscommunication, no kind of reconciliation whatsoever. Customer service on the phone was no help either. The very next day I tried verizon, it turns out the phone service and customer service are exponentially better. Highly recommend switching. The only thing that saved them the one start was the employee that checked me in. Apparently they were still in training but had a great attitude nonetheless. They should be re training the employee and the manager instead. read more

I was in there for a new phone. Got greeted by someone very lovely just to get attended by someone who clearly didn't want to be there. Natalie is her name. The manager was nice but is clearly not going to do anything about it since he didn't even talk to the employee, letting her make facial expressions which were rude, and also adding more rude comments. read more
