I had Verison for years but did not get a good signal at my home so looked around. T-mobile…read moreseemed like a good choice so I switched but it required a new cell phone which I bought. It did not work any better in my home so I went back to T-mobile to see what they could do and they recommended a booster. What good would a booster do if there was no cell phone signal in the first place? As I thought, it did not work. Fortunately every cell phone company other than Verison uses the same system so I switched to ATT and that works fine.

Internet itself is decent, but if you make a mistake with the bill, they send harassing emails…read moreinstead of polite emails about correcting the issues. It's jarring and causes a lot of stress that they can't communicate in a moderate way about a simple error. I can't wait until I'm in a city where there's actual competition instead of a monopoly on the internet.

It worked well when I first got it but as time has gone along it has gotten worse. It will go down and the modem says we are connected and the computer says we are connected but nothing happens when you try to open up a web page. You do not even get a "server not available" or other message, you just wait. It finally got so bad we got an ATT mobile hot spot to cover for when Centurylink goes down. From what one person said at CenturyLink, they only have one guy who can work on the fiberoptic/wire interface and he lives in Sioux Falls!! Better than nothing I guess. If I did not need the land line I would just cancel it all.

I walked in the door and was greeted by an employee who asked for my phone number. Seconds later I received a text on my phone that informed me that an agent would be with me shortly. Actually, I asked for no texting on my phone to prevent this very unnecissary text. I waited around about 10 minutes and finally left. Note: There were two managers (?) just standing there and three employees helping three other customers. I guess it was beneath them to assist a customer. I'll be leaving this company for another one this week!!
