    Every time I go to this store, or any other AT&T store, I turn my next age just waiting in line…read more Doesn't matter if you check in or not- that's just a formality. Can't a mega company like AT&T figure out a better brick-and-mortar service philosophy than THIS ? Then I got passed off to a little guy with long hair who disappeared to the bathroom for 10 minutes while helping me (I had to ask one of his coworkers to go looking for him) and when he finally returned without an apology, he proceeded to find a nearly imperceptible, minor cosmetic flaw with my trade in phone that other staff helping me previously did not see (nor did I) before they helped me transfer my data. My phone was inspected 3 previous times by 3 different staff members. I found it nit-picky for this young man to point out the "flaw" after I'd already bought the new phone and been in-store for 2 hours trying to get it to work. So now I won't be getting full credit for my otherwise flawless phone because someone's trying to look useful. If there's a flaw in my phone, fine. Show me up front so I can make a decision based on that. Don't wait until right before I'm about to leave after spending 2 hours in-store because my new phone wouldn't work. Feels like the old bait and switch. Long, unpleasant, unprofessional experience all around. Would be one star if not for the positive experience with the staff members that were initially helping me. I'll deal with another retailer moving forward

Then after five months of back and forth with them admitting they messed up told me yeah checks in the mail for our error. No check ever came. The supervisor I was working with completely ghosted me. The promotion deal was never honored. The matching of my bills from AT&T never honored. My bill is massive and fluctuates every month. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. I have all the texts to prove they are at fault and lied to me. If you are thinking about switching to Verizon I highly suggest you don't. I'll take poor cell service over this scamming company any day. Oh and this store in particular will do super shady stuff like try and open a business account for you when you have no business. They will tell you that you don't need to turn in your phones for the trade in promotion then said I'll buy you phone cause it's unlocked and I can get on the dark web with it. And lastly use the store as child care. I have been going back and forth for five months. I tried to be patient kind respectful and give the benefit of the doubt. Horrible absolutely horrible company and store. I'd give it less than a star if I could. Reading this you are probably like this guy probably asked for way more for the inconvenience, nope all I have ever asked for is what I was promised by Verizon on the promotion to switch carriers. They can't even just honor that deal after five months of screwing me around.

But James was extremely patient and knowledgeable and made an otherwise miserable experience tolerable. Linda, who is new, was also extremely helpful and made my long visit in the store fun and as comfortable as possible. I definitely prefer this store over the other Rapid City locations for the customer service provided by these two. Thank you so much for finally getting Verizon to fix my account issues! p.s. They…read morekicked me out today because they didn't want other customers.Hearing about the horrible experience I've had.So I will share it here with everyone and in court. I have been hung up on 61 times and transferred 16 times in 2 days. I was promised refunds and asked to drive 400 miles to get it just to arrive at this location to be told.No, because they didn't like the other customers could hear me.I was too loud.Here's the experience. I spent 20 minutes in a chat room.Being told somebody live agent will come at the same time.I had 2 separate phones calling going through every option.After several hours, we've discovered the only way to get ahold of a life person.Whether you have service active or not is to call the sales department for home internet, where there they will answer.And then they can transfer you to a life person for mobile services. The first lady attempted to connect my service 3 times then she hung up because she couldn't.The second 1 tried 4 times and then as she transferred me, the manager tried 2 hours then I asked if she could make me the primary count holder.Because the other two were children , she said , sure turns out she never did. 2 days later, all of our services were disconnected.I prepaid , so at this point , i've spent 421.00 dollars for 2 days of service. When I called Verizon, they literally hung up on me keeping the mind. I am in the middle of nowhere. I know where I've gotten, but I have no clue how to get back to the highway or how to get to where I'm going. I was using data a cop. Helped me after 30 minutes of looking for one get to the highway from there. We spent 5 hours before we were able to get ahold of another person who you guessed it hung up on me. After several more tense transfers and hang-ups, eventually, I spoke with a man who said he would give me a whole refund based on my experience so far. And all I had to do was go to a store and pick it up. He also said he would activate all 3 lines again and I said, I don't want service with you again. I just need to get where I'm going so if you want to activate my line and give me a refund that's fine and then tomorrow I'll get service with someone else. Unfortunately, my phone wasn't compatible with anything else.Thank you , verizon , and he never turned on my service and never put me in for a refund. I find this out at the store after driving for many hours.They told me I have to go to a corporate store 400 miles away.I get there as I get there.I'm also trying to call still trying to work this out.More hang ups more transfers. When I arrive at the store, Lee are very reluctant to help me. They continue, they literally move me to a corner. So other customers could not hear my story because they wanted. To know why I was there and wanted a refund as I was explaining it, they panicked and literally were trying to get me to leave the store, they ended up kicking me out the store, because people kept hearing what I was talking about. That is where we're at. I've again since called multiple times I've been hung upon more and multiple times transferred more and multiple times since my wife is still an active fed and I'm retired fed, we're gonna go ahead and try to put them on the national blacklist, so no federal employee will ever go through this kind of experience again. And if you're reading this and you still get with these people , you are just insane. I can't count how many times I've been told. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and how they would like to help. But the reality is they're not sorry, because 61 times I've been hung up on clearly, they don't want to help clearly, they don't want to give me my refund for money, I've given them for no service provided and I'm sure they'll comment on this. Sorry for the inconvenience reach out to us. Why so I can be hung up on again? I\nThink we're gonna go to court seems to be your only way to get results. Verizon also owns Straight Talk T-Mobile family.Mobile track phone do not do service with these people.Because this is what you're going to get.
