The TV was blaring the world cup soccer game in Spanish. Ok, it's exciting. No change was made to the volume. We explained we needed to turn in our old phones. Francisco asked, "Do you know the info on them?" Kind of a broad question, but that meant he needed the model and gigabytes of the phones. We had no idea what the gigs were off the top of our head; that's not something often known, in my opinion. My husband asked if he could look that information up on his account. Francisco said he couldn't. My husband said in return something to the effect of being surprised that info wouldn't show on his account, to which Francisco said, "Trust me, you don't know the system!" Whoa, guy. My husband was able to figure out on his own what gigs the old phones were, because when upgrading, the previous employee in Poway said the new phones would be double the current storage. Ok. Francisco continued with major attitude saying, "I need you to be sure on the gigabytes because if it's wrong, I'll get in trouble and I'm not trying to get in trouble." My husband said, "I guess we should have just gone to the Poway store to return these." Francisco then said, "Yeah I guess you could have!" It was after that rude, under his breath, condescending and completely unprofessional comment, I decided to write this review. I have never in my adult life been treated so rudely by an employee at any business. It was very clear we were interrupting his TV watching time and he didn't want to have to do anything to assist us. Perhaps Francisco shouldn't work in customer service if he's going to blatantly speak to customers that way. All we were trying to do was turn in phones.

The store never has anything in stock, it's basically a bill pay building. It's real bad that when you ask for something that one, they have no clue what it is( which is just great when that's the job) and two, if it is not clear to them or if it's not there, there's no other help, just "ok bye then". As far as I'm concerned I'll travel to the Escondido store, they at least make the attempt to help, even calling another store. Because isn't it the business of a retail type establishment to please their customers? I mean how many different types of phone providers are out there, that want your business? And here in Ramona, there's 4 other stores. So cricket in Ramona , you need to change or just shut the doors, cause you're just wasting time and space. Yes just my opinion bit remember my opinion counts as 1000, just by telling people. It's sad in this day and age we've forgotten that. Time to go back to basics.

I told Katrina that my husband was on the fence about whether to repair or replace, and she didn't push doing the repair but did warn us to be careful. We decided to repair so we didn't have to rush to choose a new phone. I paid a deposit for the battery, which came the next day. Katrina texted us promptly to let us know it arrived and my husband dropped off his phone a couple hours later. Katrina said it looked pretty bad and it might need more parts and it could be until Monday. But not even 2 hours later, she called us at home and said she was able to fix it. It was more work than she originally thought, yet she honored her original estimate. When I brought it here to CPR, they showed me that it was actually the screen protector and not the actual screen. They quoted me $25 for a new phone protector and offered to put it on for me right there. I was so grateful! When I asked if the other places would know that they said, "Of course, they were trying to take advantage of you!" I had been loyal ever since. The Bad: Fast forward to now (about 10 years later),... I hate to say it but I believe greed has gotten the best of them. I went there a few months ago to repair my iPad screen. It was $260! I went twice last week asking for a quote to submit to insurance both times they took down my information (on a "sticky note") and told me the owner would email or text me a quote within a day or two. I just had a feeling those sticky notes go directly in the trash. Here it is a week (& several follow ups) later and no one has contacted me or knows anything about my previous request(s). My advice,.. pretend you are interested in getting the repair asap, otherwise, I'm quite sure they just throw it in the trash.
