The perception of Metro used to be bad (per incorrect review from 2016) but hopefully it's much…read morebetter. I'd rather save money than have my phone and phone plan be a status symbol. I used to pay a LOT for Verizon. I was pressured into getting a work phone to access our company's secure sites so rather than pay top dollar for Verizon and the work phone, or use my personal number for the work # and lose ownership of the #, I switched my personal phone to Metro PCS. I lost my unlimited internet data I was grandfathered in with Verizon but got it with Metro. After I left my company I considered switching back to Verizon but I had been very happy with Metro AND the very low price. I never had trouble with reception (especially after T-Mobile bought them), had a lot of hotspot data, and the only negative was that customer service was a bit more challenging if needed but they were always pleasant and helpful. The negative perception of Metro by others as a "cheap" service meant for low income people was not pleasant. I've known people who refused to go on Metro and instead got much more expensive plans on Verizon with far less data and often no hotspot data. I could easily pay more but found no reason to do so. I buy my own phone. Love the flexibility of no contract and a consistent bill. The Metro stores are the worst part of having Metro in my experience, except maybe the company stores. The franchised store employees are often not honest in my experience. Hopefully that has changed.

My one and only experience with Digital Solutions will be my last. Their first attempt at repairing…read moremy laptop was a failure. Afterward, they promised to "make it right." They tried, but they failed again. My 64GB RAM laptop now has only 32GB of working RAM and years' worth of emails were overwritten. My bill: $810.49. I took a laptop to Digital Solutions on May 21, 2025, stating there was a hardware problem causing a "blue screen," and I needed them to repair the machine and to save my emails and files, if possible. I let them know the emails were very, very important to me, that I had backed up most of my files, but not my emails. The intake person (correctly) suggested it was likely a disc drive failure. It took Digital Solutions 15 days to return the laptop. The technician (who was NOT the intake person) had replaced a defective battery and saved my files and told me there were no other hardware issues. However, he failed to save my emails before he reinstalled the O/S, overwriting them. To make matters worse, he installed Windows 10 instead of Windows 11. I let him know how disappointed I was, and I left. It got worse. After three days the laptop failed because the bad hard drive crashed again. It turns out the technician hadn't realized the hard drive had gone bad. I returned with the laptop and was told they would "make it right." I already knew that could no longer happen, because the technician had overwritten my emails. However, I didn't think they would create additional problems the second time around. I was wrong. On July 3, 2025, they called to say my laptop was available, but they were unable to figure out how to get it working with 64GB of RAM, so it was returned to me with only 32GB of working RAM. When I objected, I was told by the manager, Nicole, that they had spent a lot of time and resources on my computer and "my boss would kill me" if they spent any more time working on my laptop. She's right about the time. They spent a lot of time because the technician didn't detect and replace the bad drive. All the extra hours they spent "making it right" resulted from their mistakes. Yet, Nicole acted as if she was doing me a huge favor by eating the costs that accrued from their mistakes. The bottom line: My emails are gone forever, the laptop is working with only half its RAM, yet it cost me about the same as what I just paid for a brand-new identical laptop. Lesson learned: keep your data backed up and when your computer needs repair, take it someplace other than Digital Solutions.

Don't understand these reviews! They must all, just be fake…read more Candace is my little wannabe hustler. I ordered a Rolex and she sends me texts every 6-9 months that I should be getting it, soon. She then had me come in at different times(5X) and tries to hustle me, by trying to sell me some of their jewelry that has about as much value as a fake diamond. Each time I came the hustle started with, my watch is coming and they I should buy something new for my wife. I'm there for the new Rolex. Once again? I have wasted my time and her texts continue with her bull shit and deceit. After waiting 3 years, I still have no Rolex from Lucido's and she continues to send me her BS texts. I finally tell her to get lost and she plays the blame game. Candace might look good, play the game-good, with her little gold Rolex, but she is your typical clown full of a masquerade of dishonesty and circus games. My advice? This is a clown show! They know their diamonds are worthless. Buy a 10K diamond on Monday and on Friday, the most any jeweler is gong to give you is $500. There is absolutely no resale value in diamonds. They are a scam! The reason they play games with their Rolex's. Is that certain (Superman , Batman watches) have great resale value. Walk into their doors and watch the makeup fall off, these clowns!
