I needed to get a hot spot and this particular T Mobile location was scheduled closest to me at that time. The experience was a tale of two coins. On one side staff were friendly and helpful. They listened and were also informative without being 100% pushy but I also understand they need to sell. On the other hand, I waited a long time. And it wasn't the long wait that was the issue for me. It was more that while I waited for my turn I saw staff finish with their customer and go take a break. One after another I felt like staff kept leaving the floor after finishing with the customer while I was still waiting. Then one staff started chatting with another client about a Spanish novel while I was still waiting to be helped. It was a little irritating and more so as no one even came by to check on me. I was finally tended too and again I received great service but just left like for awhile there they forgot about me. Maybe it was the exception and not the norm. Your miles may vary. read more

If I could, I would give this place 0 star rating. The phone repair center is abysmal. My screen was cracked and parts of it was working while the other not. I was desperate to get it fixed so made an appointment, called to confirm they have me and discussed the issue with them. First - I did convey I did NOT have any insurance or coverage on the phone. The guy informed that it would cost me $400 (incorrect) to fix an old phone and that I should switch to T Mobile from AT&T to get a phone for free. I politely declined as I am an AT&T employee and get a better deal. Next he said he will have to check my phone to see if it can be fixed. I know it can be cause one of the cell repair shops said they can fix it in 15 mins. The guy claimed it would take him up to an hour and a half! However I wanted an authentic Apple screen so went this route. I show up, half knowing that Manny has no interest in fixing my phone. Sure as hell. He was so upset that I was willing to spend 279 out of pocket. Then without much explanation says cannot fix my phone. I asked why that was the case and he informed me that it is because I did not have Apple Care plus. I am still trying to understand the correlation but ok. On questioning it he goes on to tell me that he will not be able to fix my phone. And that was that! I would not recommend this store unless it is the last store on the face of this earth. I have to express the importance of treating people with respect no matter on appearance, race or gender. My family and I came into this location, we were the first ones in, the representative Marcos Martins immediately looked at me.. and did not approve of my face coverings (did not meet T-Mobile guidelines on a mask) and right away said "We don't allow those kinds of masks in here" he didn't say good morning.. no hello, how can I help you... just right away "we don't accept those masks" Since every member of my family were wearing masks we had to ask!? What are you talking about?? He pointed to my face, I was wearing a Missions brand face covering I purchased and have had no problem anywhere. Luckily I had a regular mask in my pocket and put it on, but needless to say the associate's attitude did not get better. Only after I put the other mask on was he ok to help us.. we needed to get our daughter's phone repaired she has a cracked screen. After getting her phone number he walks to the back, comes back quickly and says "we can't help you we don't have screens".. he rudely told us to go to a different location or call the store every week to see if they get new screens in. He had a look of satisfaction in his face that he couldn't help us. We left the store and went to the T-Mobile in Hoboken NJ. I purposely wore the same face covering with the mask in my pocket just to see if we would have the same experience.. and the associates in Hoboken were so friendly and willing to help (they didn't mention anything about my mask being improper) They weren't able to help us but they went above and beyond to call other locations asking where we could go and directed us to the Apple store that might help us since the cracked screen was an Apple product. So now I'm questioning.. was the bad attitude from Marcos because of my dark skin and curly hair (I am a well educated African American woman)?? Or does Marcos just not like his job??? As a person that manages a bank and understands the importance of customer service especially during these times that temperatures are high it's important to treat people with respect even when communicating policies. I am very disappointed in the way we were treated and hope Marcos can get the proper training on how to communicate while being courteous to your clients. read more

Than when asked my name and I offered to help with the spelling was told they have no issue with literacy well I can say how many people spell my name wrong on a continuous basis.
