I visited this Verizon store with my friends/GDTV boss to upgrade the mifis we use for broadcasting and my boss's personal phone. My boss called Verizon before we left and confirmed that we were to receive the upgrades free. When we arrived at the store, the employees at first told us that we could not get the updates free. When pressed, they admitted that we could get them free online, but not in the store. We informed them we would just do it online and headed for the door and suddenly they were able to do the transaction in the store. Hmmm... The employee who helped us was somewhat knowledgeable about the phones and helped us process everything and the store was clean and the merchandise nicely displayed. No big WOW, but they got he job done.

The salesman re-routed him to a different T-Mobile location (Machesney Park) who didn't have a clue. Called back to Loves Park and the same salesman immediately contacted another branch (Perryville), made sure they were up to speed with the free screen protector program, and that they had stock. 15 minutes later all was settled. Nice job!

I bought the phone they gave me the trackers and helped me set up one of the trackers through the app. Then the next month I saw an overcharge on my account, and when I called the T mobile service they told me the charge was because I had bought three trackers and I had used them I said I got them for free, that's what I was told in the store and then they explained no they charged you and when I found the receipt I saw that they did really charge me plus they did not tell me that using it you have to pay for the service. I did not look at the receipt when I bought the phone because they explained to me how much it cost and how much discount I would get for the new phone because I traded the old one, and with taxes and their service for helping me set up the new phone, I thought it was all right. I found out they scammed me a month after buying the new phone when I saw the overcharge in my account. Liars and unprofessional. I will never buy from this store again T-Mobile Authorized Retailer at 6344 E Riverside Blvd, Loves Park, IL 61111.

I went into this AT&T store to upgrade my phone. The commercial said that it was a free upgrade, so…read morethat is what I did. I had to return my old phone, so the credit was not run at time of purchase. Because of that, AT&T put me on a 36-month payment plan at $27.78/ month, but they also give me a monthly credit, so the total installment is 0. However, I have discovered that if you want to leave AT&T, you have to pay off the phone as though you did not upgrade or get credit for the old phone. I would consider this false advertising, because it was not a "free" phone upgrade. It is essentially signing a 36-month contract, even though they advertise "no contracts required". They also did not say anything about this payment plan at the time of purchase, only after I went back in to discuss the bill.

A problem that I originally did not have. The screen now has a border around it and is not operating correctly for a Samsung 22 ultra. Upon calling them they admit to not informing us that they were using aftermarket parts, saying they assume everyone knows that it's aftermarket parts and said it was no problem for me to pay the difference and get what I expected in the first place. I told them.it was dishonest for them to not inform us upfront that it would not look like the original screen and worse off for them to try to charge us more money to make it right. The workmanship is another issue. The fact that the phone come back with a different issue than it came in with is uncalled for. In the end they offer a refund to put the original (broken) screen back in and wave the service fee to fix the backbplate. In all their shady business practice from the start to the end and poor workmanship is grounds for the 1 start. Beware being swindled by this company.
