Visiting the cell phone store is right up there with visiting a car lot. I'm a huge laggard on technology and only go when there's no other choice. My ancient iPhone 5 was a hand-me-down and maxed out on storage space with only a few basic apps and barely 500 photos. This is my first experience as a T-Mobile customer since they purchased Sprint.
T-Mobile is currently practicing Covid precautions. Their front door is roped off and as customers approached, the manager greeted them. One customer per sales rep could enter the store. Based on what I needed to do, I needed my husband's input and they were great about letting us switch places to answer questions.
The sales rep we worked with, Nathan, was fantastic. He was confident in the steps needed to transfer my phone contents and communicated each step. The transfer only took 10-15 minutes so we never had to leave the store and come back. I now have a hot spot connection on this phone and Nathan reviewed it with me before I left.
While sitting outside the store when my husband was inside I was able to watch the manager and sales associates take care of visiting customers. They were upbeat and helpful, understanding how customers were already surprised to wait outside for an associate. People were taken care of quickly and they'd pop back outside to answer questions. Very impressed. read more
