He's with a customer or he's off that day and they act like it's perfectly natural to leave dozens of voicemail messages for the manager to call me and he never does I keep asking for the regional manager's phone number to discuss all the problems. Once they get that sale, they don't care if you've got the correct service they don't care if you do not get the gift cards they send you off somewhere else you no longer matter to them. They got the sale that's all that counted for them. Any issues or problems they will not fix it. They act with such horrible attitude that you're an annoyance to come in there and ask them to fix an obvious problem or issue that they created.

My hubby & I are "smart shoppers," so we always have lots of questions and want to know specifics about options. Ryan took customer service to the next level and fully explained everything and showed us details on paper as well. He couldn't have been nicer. A weaker employee would have abandoned us after the first hundred questions :-) If this store has an "Employee of the Month" program, Ryan earned that title on my hubby & I alone. I was told that they were not able to print it even after a Verizon Customer Service Representative explained to me over the phone that they could. I asked if they had a direct number to contact Verizon and they also said no. Afterwards I drove to the Verizon store in Hudson Oaks and the gentleman there was able to print it out in less than 5 minutes. I would highly recommend making this the last Verizon store to walk into. I'm actually surprised that they are still in business the way they treat their customers. I can see why they have 1 star on all four of their reviews!

Before leaving my laptop with them, I clearly explained that the only issue was the screen and that the keyboard backlight was functioning perfectly. After I picked it up and noticed the problem, I was encouraged to purchase the Asurion Tech Care insurance plan and submit a claim once the coverage became active. I followed their recommendation and filed a claim, only to find out that the keyboard is not covered under the Asurion Tech Care plan. This was frustrating, especially since the backlight issue did not exist before the repair. While the screen repair itself was successful, I am disappointed with how this situation was handled and with the lack of a resolution for an issue that appeared after the service was completed.

After being an Elite Plus member in their loyalty program for several years, they decided to end the entire program and wipe away most of the benefits with as little as 5 weeks of notice. This is a program that takes most people the better part of a year to qualify for status, and it's all being taken away with nothing in return. To get the same benefits, they want you to sign up for a Best Buy credit card and their total tech program, which is an extra $200 per year. For anyone who needs guidance, the Amazon credit card offers the same value as BestBuy, but you also get a ton of other included benefits, that BestBuy is taking away from you. Going forward, there's not really a need to continue to shop at BestBuy, other than to use their store as a demo for electronics I'm interested in. Then I'll price match if their price is lower and buy elsewhere, where my business is actually valued. BestBuy is proving that brand loyalty is worth $0. The truth hurts.
